Mountain View Hotels in Hualien

It is basically a mansion sitting in an exclusive neighbourhood. The location is excellent! It sits on high ground overlooking the city and you can view the sunrise from the balcony early in the morning. At night you can sit outside the garden and watch the city lights while sipping on a cold beer. The best thing about the place is the owner. He was very hospitable and drove us into town and back! In the morning we had a 5 course breakfast before setting off.

The staff are very nice and helpful. They help me with the luggage and booking the whale watching tour. The room is just like the photo, clean and spacious. The scenery is excellent too and you can hear the birdsong and the sound of waves, which is great for you to enjoy the nature. I also booked the dinner there which is delicious too. It is just slightly hard to find the path to drive into the car park as the path is narrow and the stand is not that noticeable.

First off, the hotel is a bit far from the other parts of Hualien so its best suited for those who are just plannning to stay around the hotel or the ”Ocean Park” nearby, although this is mitigated by the shuttle they offer to the train station and back. But for my purposes that was fine. The hotel is quite large and has many facilities, including both outdoor and indoor pool (outdoor pool closed during winter seasons). Views are quite nince and more than justify the cost. Advised perhaps to go in the summer when the outdoro pool is open and there are less cloudsl, though undoubtedily will be more epxennnnsive. But on a sunny day I imagine it would be hard to beat the value offered by this place I believe, especialyl if you are content to just gaze at the ocean rather than go to places like Taroko gorge.

The location of the homestay is close to Tailuge, the environment is beautiful and comfortable, and the bed is big enough for a family of three to sleep. The proprietress was very friendly and introduced the current situation of Tailuge, so she only went to the visitor center in the end. I also heard the proprietress share her experience during the earthquake. I am grateful that the homestay is very safe here. I will come back next time. ～

The environment in the manor is very good, with green grass, swaying trees, streams and fish ponds, and a row of tent rooms in the distance. During the day, lying on the lawn with the blue sky and white clouds reflecting each other can make people forget the hustle and bustle of the world and feel refreshed. There is no light pollution at night, and you can see the bright stars of the Milky Way. It happens to be a full moon night, it feels like being on earth! The guest rooms in the main building are spacious, clean and sanitary. The water is pure natural hot spring water with excellent water quality. After soaking, your skin feels very smooth and comfortable. The manor is about an 8-minute drive from Ruisui Station. Around 9 pm, almost all the surrounding restaurants close, making it most convenient for self-driving tourists. For breakfast, you can choose between Chinese and Western set meals, with juice, coffee, and milk tea available, and the portions are definitely sufficient. It would be perfect if the employees could add a little more initiative and enthusiasm. so cool! An ideal place to recharge your batteries for a short getaway, will definitely come back.

Great experiance at The moment by lakeshore! The kids were thrilled by the bunk beds with curtains and privet hangers and lights 😅 It's a complex of buildings by lakeshore, we had a room with amazing mountains and gardens view. The auto check in station was simple to understand and operate, and suitable for us, since we arrived quite late. The room design is very cool, everything worked, good water pressure. The shower is separated from the toilet, so it's comfy for friends staying together. For us as a family it didn't matter. Everything in the minibar was included in the room price, and I tried the cold brew teas, they were excellent! The breakfast was served in the hotel building next to our hotel, from the same owner. Great buffet, large variety and even marked for allergies! The hotel has a parking area close by, and it's about 10 minutes drive to Taroko visitors center. All in all, I recommend this hotel for short stays, if you are with 3 or 4 kids take the bunk beds room for 6, we really enjoyed it.

For girls, if you have a large suitcase, you need to request a room on the ground floor. Otherwise, it is too hard to walk up 20 or 30 stairs with a heavy suitcase. The rooms have different themed decorations, with a bathtub and a large dressing table. It is nice to stay for a few days.

What they do well: 1. The hotel service is excellent; there's an usher as soon as you enter the lobby. 2. The public areas are clean and well-maintained. Areas for improvement: 1. Soundproofing: I could hear snoring from the adjacent room. 2. Tip prompt card on the bedside table: The staff didn't do anything beyond their standard duties, so why should I be prompted to tip proactively? 3. The sauna facilities are dirty and old. The shower area, with six spots, felt full with just three people.

Island Tour (Hualien), stay in a deluxe sea view double room, 4 rooms on the first floor, the room is very large, the balcony looks out to Hualien Port, you can see the sea and the ship loading and unloading goods and entering and exiting the port, it is great, the service staff are also very good Great, friendly to road bikes. There is a dedicated area and gym for road bikes on the second floor. The breakfast is okay. The small drawback is that the partition wall of the bathing area in the room is small, and water easily splashes into the sleeping area. The water dispenser uses a large bucket of spring water to heat and drink ( Not good for babies and children), I hope filtered drinking water can be improved and the opportunity will be better.

We have already stayed at this hotel several times) everything is fine, especially in rooms with sea views)) Super breakfasts, free cola/sprite at the entrance. The staff is very pleasant. The room is quiet: the road is very far away, so you can get enough sleep! There is a beach nearby with a very wide beach area (pictured). You can have a barbecue on the beach!
