EEsee MunkhIf this hotel is in your budget, JUST BOOK IT! You can’t find any hotel that is better than this. I swear, Al Farida is one of the 2 best hotels in Giza!
I was searching for a Giza hotel for over 2 weeks, yet couldn’t find any. Decided to get a hotel after I arrive in Giza by seeing with my own eyes and chose this one.
THIS HOTEL IS BRAND NEW, 2 months old as of January, 2025. When you enter the room, you’d smell wood from new furnitures, very pleasant. Shower is nice, instantly hot.
Location is very good, 50-100 meters from the entrance of Giza Pyramids but no smell of horse and camel dung. As it’s so close to the pyramids, the view from the rooftop is breathtaking as well…
Staff are amazing as well. Lovely Muhamed (both), Eslam, Tahir… They’re all fantastic, will make your stay great. Also, you’ll see the cutest bellboys there (only 15,17 years old).
In short, JUST BOOK IT. Hotel rooms look exactly like on the pics. Don’t hesitate. Trust me!
Minor issues to fix: Curtains were half in our room, breakfast and food takes more than 30 minutes.
MmcpoThe following are real pictures and videos I took when I checked into the hotel that day. The room I stayed in that day was on the 4th floor. Hotel location: Convenient transportation in Cairo. Hotel facilities: Please see the pictures for yourself. They were taken when I checked in that day. The bedding and linens can be seen in the pictures. The bed is quite comfortable, but I had goosebumps on my body the next day. It may be caused by insect bites. It took 3 days to heal. Hotel decoration: Please see the pictures for yourself. Bathroom: You can also see the pyramids. I had lunch at his house in the afternoon. When I left in the morning, I gave the boy 250 Egyptian pounds for lunch. He said he couldn't make the change and took me outside to find the change. Hotel service staff: I personally think they are very service-minded. They were quite considerate during my stay. They served me a glass of juice as soon as I arrived. They were very enthusiastic. The pictures of the hotel match the pictures of the room I actually stayed in. You can see the pyramids outside the window, which is very convenient
GGuest UserVery very happy with this hotel. It is very clean. Modern. There is very comfortable bedroom. Proposes socks and what is needed for the bathroom. Great view from the terrace on the pyramids. Personnel very listening. They were all there for us . They offered us an airport ship for not gallery . I recommend without hesitation. Thanks to the entire team
GGuest UserThis hotel has some of the kindest and most helpful people I have ever met. From the very first moment, the staff made me feel truly welcome. Any question or request was answered immediately — they always helped, explained, and guided me with genuine care.
There was a small issue with my room at first, but it was resolved right away. The staff quickly arranged a room change, and everything was handled smoothly and professionally.
I stayed in a room with a balcony, and it was absolutely amazing. The view is breathtaking — waking up and seeing the pyramids right in front of you is an unforgettable experience.
I would also like to highlight the hotel’s rooftop. Breakfasts are served there, and you can also just relax or order food from the restaurant. Eating while overlooking the pyramids is something truly special.
The hotel is located very close to the entrance of the Pyramids area — I even walked back to the hotel on foot after my visit. The Great Egyptian Museum is also just a 10–15 minute car ride, which is extremely convenient.
Once again, the staff deserves special praise: very friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything. They speak English very well, which makes communication easy and comfortable.
Airport transfer can be arranged both from and to the hotel, and payment at the reception is possible in both US dollars and Egyptian pounds.
Highly recommended — a place where you feel cared for and truly enjoy every moment of your stay.
JJamminontha1The service was great. Everyone was friendly and attentive and ready to help. The staff were at the front desk at all hours of the night. The rooftop views of the pyramids and the museum in the day and night are fantastic. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of foods to choose from and lots of seating. My Uber account wasn’t working, so the hotel was able to order me one. It came with a surcharge, but it was better than taking a taxi. There’s AC and plenty of space and storage in the room. Everyone has a good grasp of the English language. There is a great outdoor area to just relax day or night and next door is a tiny market for snacks and an oil shop.
There are only a couple of cons:
1. They don’t take old or work out USD bills
2. I was given inconsistent pricing for the excursions they offered, so I booked most of them elsewhere
3. My room had no ventilation and I was unable to open my window. Also, after room service came in, it would smell faintly of cigarettes.
4. I was hand-washing and hanging clothes and housekeeping kept shutting the door to the bathroom so my clothes couldn’t dry and smelled moldy. The housekeeper for my floor didn’t speak good English, so it was a lost cause.
5. The tv only had like 10 channels and all Arabic and mostly news and religious
Overall, I would book this hotel again, but maybe request a room with a window that opens or bring a mini-fan and room spray.
GGuest UserThe staff are all very helpful.
The toilet and shower are also beautiful. There are soap, tissues and toilet paper.
The door has a key and a chain lock. There is also a safe in the room.
It was a very nice hotel. I moved to a different hotel now but I want to return to this hotel again (-_-)
GGuest UserThe hotel and room were clean and gave you a feel of Egypt, and the shower had good water pressure.
You can see the three great pyramids from the rooftop, but unfortunately the Sphinx was hidden by trees and only its face could be seen! Breakfast is not a buffet, but an omelet, bread, tomato-stewed vegetables, and yogurt.
When I stayed at another Giza hotel on a different day, I was given a welcome drink and an introduction to the pyramid view, but there was no such thing here, and when I checked in, I was a little confused because I didn't have a reservation, but in the end I found a reservation. .
I think it would be a better hotel if there was more welcoming service.
❤❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️The staff were incredibly friendly.
The room was clean, but the front desk staff were especially friendly.
If I ever return, it'll probably be because of them.
The staff were incredibly friendly.
The room was clean, but what stood out most was how exceptionally kind the front desk staff were.
If I ever return, it'll probably be because of them.
GGuest UserHere’s
I really liked the hotel, first of all because of its excellent location. I would also like to highlight the staff — they are very responsive, friendly, and attentive.
The reception desk truly operates 24/7. My flight arrived late at night, and I reached the hotel around 3 a.m. The check-in was smooth and hassle-free, which was very important for me.
The room was clean, well-ventilated, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. I was especially pleased with the view of the pyramids. The bed linen was fresh and clean, and there were no issues with cleanliness. The room included all necessary bathroom amenities as well as tea-making facilities.
Special thanks to the hotel manager — an incredibly kind, helpful, and warm person who was always ready to assist. He even brought me fruit, which was a very pleasant and unexpected gesture.
Breakfast was simple but sufficient for a light morning snack — enough to not feel hungry during the first hours after waking up.
Overall, I had a very positive experience. Thank you very much for the warm hospitality and a wonderful trip!
Llucila Del Rosario RomeroMy name is Lucila Del Rosario. Thank you so much to the entire staff of Happy View Inn hotel. Especial thanks to Mohammed, Ali, Eslam & Mahmoud.
Before my staying to the hotel, Mohamed was very attentive that I have good arriving and during my stay there, until my departure. This hotel is more than I expect, and I also love the name of this hotel 🤩. They treat me as a good family. The food was delicious and they have spacious rooms with equipment that you need. Everyday during my stay I took the soon enjoying the Pyramids view; or while I reviewed my books, taking the soon while I drink tea or the tasty Egyptian coffee, or seeing the stars. They also taking care about everything that I need; including to watch my football 🏈 game in the night of the Super Bowl. I see you soon this year INCHALLAH! Thank you / Shukran !!
