The InterContinental Golf Resort is quite a distance from the city center and the airport. However, if you're not planning to visit the outer islands in Fiji, the InterContinental is probably the best choice. The sea views are much better compared to city hotels, making it a great place for a relaxing vacation.
The breakfast was the highlight of our stay – incredibly varied, and they were always quick to replenish everything, so there were always fresh options available.
The environment was also beautiful and comfortable. The front desk and shuttle bus service provided the best experience.
Lunch and dinner felt a bit less impressive compared to breakfast. On our last night, we got caught in a heavy downpour. The restaurant initially started to leak, and then we had to move to the middle section. We didn't even finish our meal and got wet. The drainage system seemed inadequate; the floor was quickly covered in water, and we had to brave the rain to get back to our room. We asked the restaurant to call a shuttle bus, but they said they were too busy and couldn't help, which resulted in us getting completely soaked. Our shoes were still wet the next day. I hope this can be improved. Overall, it was a good experience.

Location perfect - but no fitness centre
Service by staff very poor no porter carry bags yourself to 2nd level…. Power went off for few hours only in our room due to some maintenance failure… night staff walked off with now it’s working no apologies, management didn’t even bother to come and check next day if all okay.

AmarunaA resort hotel with amazing staff hospitality, but be aware of the facilities 🌴
I stayed at Golden Point Resort for one night. Here's a summary of the pros and cons I experienced during my stay.
■ What I liked:
Staff service: Above all, all the staff were incredibly friendly and approachable. They called guests by their first names and frequently checked in on us, which made their heartfelt hospitality very impressive.
Location: The room faced the ocean, and the open view of the sea through the screen door was lovely.
■ What I found concerning/things to note:
Check-in: I had to wait about 15 minutes at the reception as the staff spent a long time with the previous guests. Also, the security deposit at check-in is *cash only*, so you need to prepare for that in advance.
Facilities: There was no Wi-Fi in the building, and the cell service was quite poor, making the internet situation very inconvenient. Also, the room door was faulty, and I almost got trapped inside. While the cleanliness was at a basic level, the overall age of the facilities was undeniable.
Food: Since there are no restaurants nearby, you're pretty much limited to eating at the hotel, but the prices are a bit on the high side. Moreover, it took about an hour for the food to be served, giving the impression of a long wait. Perhaps they are short on kitchen staff.
■ Overall impression:
Overall, the facilities and environment strongly gave off an 'outdated' vibe, and it might be a bit challenging for those looking for modern comfort. However, the warm personalities of the staff more than made up for it. For those who prioritize hospitality, it's probably an average rating.

Our room lacked a hot water facility, requiring us to request a change. The replacement room had a broken shower with uneven water flow, and the sliding glass door caught my partner's fingers. While the resort grounds are clean, the rooms showed dust in several areas and bugs in the shower.Key Issues: No hot water in initial room.Faulty shower and unsafe sliding door in bath room.Dusty rooms and insects in bathrooms.Absence of elevators forced staff to carry heavy luggage upstairs, which felt burdensome for them. Saying so,
People are very friendly and polite and also supported in hiring our car.

YIA great trip. The hotel is nice and the location is good. The front is Yadua Bay. It takes 5 minutes to the small town of Xinkatuoka. There is no Chinese restaurant. The Chinese restaurant of Xinkatuoka on Ctrip closed early.
There are grey-blue magpie sea snakes in the distance, so be careful. There are many small crabs by the sea.
It is recommended to eat in the hotel restaurant. We ate breakfast on the first day and it was not delicious. Later I bought a rice cooker for 35 Fiji coins to cook my own porridge in the morning. But lunch and dinner were still very good. I ate beef rice for 7 days.
The rest is attached

It was a lovely Homestay. We had a peaceful and homely experience in economy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Thanks to Pao for taking good care of us. We loved the little mandir that they have set-up in their garden. Thanks to Mamta and family for making us feel at home away from home.

The staff is very welcoming. The hotel itself is located far, but the view is beautiful- you can see the dawn and sunset. The room has a lot of small misses- broken a toilet chair, bad shower, dirt under the beds, not very clean swimming pool, no restaurant of the hotel.
Very big minus for forgetting to lock the door and at night in the room just came a guy, started walking, turned on the light. Said that a policeman, but the fact of such an incident is a big minus.
In general, the place is quite quiet and good staff.

1. It is relatively close to the airport, about 3 kilometers, and a taxi is about 20 Fijian dollars.
2. The internal environment of the hotel is good, and the guest rooms are equivalent to single-story townhouses.
3. There is a large outdoor swimming pool, but there was no water and it was not open during this check-in.
4. There is no restaurant. Meals need to be eaten at the coffee bar outside. There are no other restaurants nearby.
5. There is no drinking water or shampoo or shower gel in the room.
In short, it feels like it’s just a place to sleep.
