"Facilities: Quite new, the shower has great water pressure, but the sink faucet is incredibly noisy. You can clearly hear people in the next room washing up in the morning. Better soundproofing would be a huge improvement. Hygiene: Very clean, and the cleaning staff are very responsible. Service: Very attentive. They escorted us from the front desk to our room and introduced us to all the amenities. Environment: The hotel is right at the foot of Raffles City, probably only 100-200 meters from the subway station, so transportation is very convenient. Chongqing is a delicious and beautiful city; I'd love to visit again if I get the chance."

The giant floor-to-ceiling window in our room offered the most captivating first impression of this mountain city. During the day, we watched the river breeze carry clouds over the skyscrapers of the Yuzhong Peninsula. In the evening, we waited for the sunset to paint the river a beautiful orange. At night, opening the window revealed the dazzling lights of Hongyadong where the two rivers meet – we got to experience Chongqing's magical 8D landscape without even having to battle crowds at tourist spots. The room's attention to detail was truly impressive: soft, high-thread-count bedding, a smart bathroom system, a deep soaking tub perfect for unwinding after a long day 🛁, and even cotton facial towels by the sink. From the major amenities to the smallest touches, everything was impeccable. The public areas' design perfectly hit all the right aesthetic notes: a Roman fountain at reception, a creamy bas-relief art wall, a cinematic spiral staircase, and a lounge area bathed in warm lighting. Every corner was a photo op 📸, yielding high-quality shots without needing to seek out additional Instagrammable spots. The location was incredibly convenient, right in the heart of the Jiefangbei CBD. We could walk to Hongyadong, the Yangtze River Cableway, and Bayi Delicious Street. We could step out for food and shopping, and then return to relax, truly capturing the vibrant energy and relaxed vibe of this mountain city."

"The environment on the 31st floor, with its floor-to-ceiling windows, was absolutely amazing, offering a breathtaking view of Chongqing. Guanyinqiao is right downstairs, and after finishing up my work in the evening, I even managed to do some shopping and bought some cherries. The hotel facilities are all very new, and the value for money is incredible. The staff were exceptionally friendly and thoughtful. I've saved this place and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chongqing!"

"Good location, services, very clean bed, great hospitality, the rooftop yields the best view for Shibati. Easy access to major tourist checkpoints. During my recent trip to Chongqing, I stayed at the Intercity Hotel near Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, and overall, my experience was very comfortable. The location is genuinely excellent, right by Jiefangbei, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. Attractions like Shibati, Hongyadong, and the Yangtze River Cableway are all within walking distance, saving me the hassle of constantly taking taxis – a huge plus for tourists. There are also plenty of dining options nearby; you can easily find a good hotpot or Chongqing noodle place. The hotel lobby and rooms are decorated in a simple yet aesthetically pleasing style – not overly lavish but very comfortable. The room amenities are comprehensive, including toiletries, and the cleanliness is impeccable; the floors and bedding were spotless, which gave me peace of mind. The breakfast selection is quite diverse, offering both German-style bread and coffee, as well as local flavors like Chongqing noodles, catering to different tastes. The biggest bonus is the top floor, which features an infinity pool and an observation deck. The night view of Shibati from up there is particularly stunning, with layers of lights truly capturing the essence of a mountain city. There's also a small bar nearby, making it a pleasant spot to relax and enjoy the breeze. The staff were all very friendly and responsive to any issues, and housekeeping was prompt. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Chongqing."

"The hotel's location is super convenient, just about a 3-minute walk from Jiefangbei. Right next to Jiefangbei is Bayi Food Street, which has tons and tons of delicious snacks. After you've had your fill of eating and drinking, you can easily walk over to Jiefangbei for a visit! The hotel facilities are well-equipped, and the cleanliness is spot-on. The design style is unique and full of character, quite different from other hotels. Both the front desk and customer service staff are very responsible and provide excellent service. They even hand-make the coffee and deliver it right to your room. The hotel also offers a luggage delivery service. If you bring your luggage to the front desk before 12 PM on the day of check-out, the staff will help you fill out the delivery information, and you can pick it up at the airport in the evening – super convenient! The front desk staff are also very patient and answered all our questions, helping us solve any issues we encountered promptly. "Our temporary home for a three-day trip to Chongqing, and overall, we were extremely satisfied. First off, the location is superb, right inside the Shibati scenic area, at the foot of the old architectural complex. From the window, you can enjoy the views of Shibati, especially the beautiful nightscapes. We couldn't help but linger at the window for a bit longer before leaving, trying to etch the view into our memory. The rooftop terrace is a world unto itself, offering panoramic views of the Nanjimen Bridge, especially stunning during the 'blue hour'. Secondly, the building itself is very distinctive. We were told it's an ancient structure dating back to 1864, and the decor is full of character. We booked a family room with a 1.8m king-sized bed and a 1.5m tatami mat in a small loft, which was very comfortable for a family. All the facilities are new, the shower pressure is excellent with precise temperature control, and thoughtful touches like a smart toilet, heated towel rail, and Laifen hairdryer really show the hotel's attention to detail. Finally, the hotel staff are all incredibly enthusiastic. The front desk attendant warmly introduced us to the hotel and greeted us enthusiastically every time we left and returned, which was very heartwarming and truly made us feel at home. One suggestion: while the breakfast set menu is very refined, it's exactly the same every day. After a while, it can get a bit monotonous, so perhaps some variety in the meal offerings would be appreciated."

"This twin room chosen for a family trip has a good experience, and the two beds are moderately spacing without disturbing each other. Quiet and not noisy, the whole is clean and there is no smell, the washing facilities are also complete, the hot water is stable, not far from the attractions, next to the subway station, living warm and convenient, cost-effective."

The room was spacious and clean, the bedding was comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, and the soundproofing was good too, ensuring a good night's sleep. A special shout-out to the front desk service; check-in was efficient and warm, and they even proactively offered tips on local attractions and dining. The breakfast had a wide variety, and the Chongqing noodles were authentic and delicious. Downstairs, there's a snack street which is perfect for a stroll or an evening jog, and Hongyadong is also very close by. Overall, it offers great value for money, and the service was prompt and responsive. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chongqing and highly recommend it to any friends visiting!"
