Zhaoqing Hotels with Parking

This homestay opened last year. It is quite close to Dinghu Mountain. It is simple and stylish. The room we chose is quite large, especially the large bathroom. It feels very comfortable to use; The proprietress was very enthusiastic and introduced us to the new attractions and food around, so that our trip to Zhaoqing was very enjoyable.

The facilities and environment are very new. Being a standalone hotel, it's independently operated, so there aren't many people coming and going, making it very safe and clean. The high ceilings prevent any feeling of being cramped, truly a great place to relax! The room is spacious and very clean, though it was missing a sofa. The bathroom is large, and showering is very comfortable with excellent water pressure and quick drainage. Breakfast isn't independently run by the hotel, but the variety is rich, and refills are prompt, though dairy products were missing. All the staff greet you with a smile, especially the cleaning staff who have an excellent service attitude. The price is incredibly reasonable! I'll definitely come again!

Two hours after leaving Vienna, I suddenly realized I'd forgotten my ring at the hotel! My heart plummeted. Just to give it a try, I contacted the hotel and explained the situation. The staff was incredibly friendly, reassuring me not to worry and immediately sending someone to my room to look for it. What touched me most was that they not only carefully checked under the bed (where I eventually found it), but even went out of their way to check in the trash can! The whole process took less than 20 minutes, and they successfully found it and notified me! Their speed, responsible attitude, and attention to detail were truly heartwarming. I sincerely thank the staff for their dedication! I highly recommend this hotel for its dedicated and attentive service!

The hardware is great, very clean, and the lakeside view is absolutely superb. However, when the air conditioning is on, there's a strong, unpleasant smell, like urine. All three rooms had the same issue. I hope the hotel can improve this. Also, the mirror lights are just small spotlights, which aren't suitable for applying makeup. I would still come back next time.

The hotel reception is on the 4th floor. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. The room has a beautiful view of Xinghu Lake, and there's also a swimming pool on the east side, though I didn't get a chance to use it this time – I'll definitely come back to stay again. They also offer luggage storage after check-out, which is a great service. Recommended local specialties: Salted Duck, Special Lou Fen (mixed noodles), and Tofu Pudding.

Even though it's a standard chain budget hotel, the cleanliness was absolutely impeccable – very clean and tidy. Our room, despite being located right by the elevator, had surprisingly good soundproofing. **Facilities**: Not brand new, but very well-maintained. The shower pressure was excellent. **Cleanliness**: 5 stars **Service**: The front desk staff were quite responsive, though parking was a bit of a hassle.

The hotel seems okay on the surface but is just convenient for its location near the Zhaoqing Railway station and the lake. Otherwise everything else is below average. The rooms are dusty and the wood part of the floor seems low quality (gunk, hair and stain from previous occupents seemed to be sticking to it) The constant smell of cigarettes in the hallway infiltrates the room. And the hotel is near a busy noisy highway that you can hear if you are lakeside. The staff is available and generally helping. The washing machine works but the dryers take forever to dry the clothes (even after a few hours on auto the clothes were still wet) The TV screams at you each time you enter the room. The room included a massaging chair, which is really nice when looking at the great view of the lake. But isn't enough to offset everything else Feedback to the hotel : I'm thinking the cleaning staff might not have the right tools for cleaning properly. Running a good vacuum in the rooms will probably remove the dust in most places. And prevent a lot of the dust and hair sticking to the floor. But probably changing wood floors to something more mop-friendly would help the most

There was a bit of messing around with the rooms when we arrived, but in the end we stayed in the room we originally booked. The room was like a full apartment with its own conservatory area, which we thought lovely. The highlight though was the location and view just outside though, the ginormous city park right across the street. It was all beautiful, we had a lovely coffee next to the water in the sun in the morning and the owner then took us in by car to discover the city center. At the end the owner again drove us with our suitcases to the train station. We absolutely loved our stay here. Only downside I would say were the single use towels, which first of all were not very effective, secondly a horrible waste for the environment. (On an additional small note regarding rooms, if you fear that guests would not like the cheapest room and insist they upgrade, you’re making the impression of having misled the guest during booking. We personally would have loved it, but we’re quite surprised to have it downplayed for us on arrival that it is too small and too loud. It was not too loud and size was good, perhaps a small cleaning to the windows and an upgrade in interior design could do the place good).

The hotel I stayed at this time was really pleasantly surprised! The location is in the city center, a few minutes walk to the Internet celebrity snack street and attractions, and it is super convenient to travel. The room was cleaned spotlessly, the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and it was quiet and not noisy at night, and I slept very well. The front desk lady is warm and patient, and can respond quickly to any needs. The breakfast is very rich, the porridge noodles, fruit drinks are all complete, and the taste is very authentic. The price is directly full, I will definitely choose this one next time I come here!
