GGuest UserThe facilities and environment are very new. Being a standalone hotel, it's independently operated, so there aren't many people coming and going, making it very safe and clean. The high ceilings prevent any feeling of being cramped, truly a great place to relax! The room is spacious and very clean, though it was missing a sofa. The bathroom is large, and showering is very comfortable with excellent water pressure and quick drainage. Breakfast isn't independently run by the hotel, but the variety is rich, and refills are prompt, though dairy products were missing. All the staff greet you with a smile, especially the cleaning staff who have an excellent service attitude. The price is incredibly reasonable! I'll definitely come again!

AAnonymous UserThis homestay opened last year. It is quite close to Dinghu Mountain. It is simple and stylish. The room we chose is quite large, especially the large bathroom. It feels very comfortable to use; The proprietress was very enthusiastic and introduced us to the new attractions and food around, so that our trip to Zhaoqing was very enjoyable.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located near the entrance of the north gate of the scenic Antelope Gorge Ancient Plank Road. It is only about 20 minutes' walk away. It is only a few kilometers away from Dinghu Mountain Scenic Area. The transportation is convenient and parking is in the underground parking lot. It should be noted that the parking fee is charged, but the hotel provides discount coupons. After scanning the code to enter the license plate, you can only pay 8 yuan a day for parking. The hotel's self-service check-in and check-out, the room equipment is complete, clean and odor-free, comfortable sleep, wide view, and overall very satisfied.

GGuest UserTwo hours after leaving Vienna, I suddenly realized I'd forgotten my ring at the hotel! My heart plummeted. Just to give it a try, I contacted the hotel and explained the situation. The staff was incredibly friendly, reassuring me not to worry and immediately sending someone to my room to look for it. What touched me most was that they not only carefully checked under the bed (where I eventually found it), but even went out of their way to check in the trash can! The whole process took less than 20 minutes, and they successfully found it and notified me! Their speed, responsible attitude, and attention to detail were truly heartwarming. I sincerely thank the staff for their dedication! I highly recommend this hotel for its dedicated and attentive service!

DDaisy509Came to Zhaoqing for a family trip with the kids and stayed at the James Joyce Coffetel Qixingyan, and it was a perfect experience! The hotel's location is amazing; it's super close to the Seven Star Crags scenic area, making getting around convenient and easy, which is a huge plus when traveling with children. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, there was enough space, and the soundproofing was good. The service was warm and thoughtful, with attention to detail, and it offered great value for money. We had a comfortable stay and convenient access to attractions, making it very suitable for trips with elderly family members and children. We'll definitely stay here again next time!

CclohWe stayed in a family room made up of two connected rooms, which was spacious enough for our needs, though it only had one toilet. The hotel is centrally located with plenty of eateries nearby, making it very convenient for meals. However, on the third day of our stay, the toilet bowl became badly clogged and could not be flushed after use. The hotel did send staff up to clear the blockage, but it was still quite inconvenient, especially for a family room with only one bathroom.

MMariaCThe hotel is located 40 minutes away from GZ South railway station, and 40 minutes Zhaoqing East train station in a great area, 10 minute walk from Scenic areas and the lake. I had a lake view room which was comfortable. There are many restaurants around and you can take boats on the lake to visit different beautiful areas. It is not easy to find at first and as there is no reception and you cannot check-in, so ensure you contact them previously (I called the hotel and got their wechat, we communicated that way). They will give you your room code so you can enter. We had issues with the code and after sending a message a man came very soon to help. The rooms smelled a bit of smoke and they were non-smoking. There is no breakfasts included but plenty of shops around to buy bread, fruit juices, tea shops, luckin coffee, 7 eleven, supermarket, etc. We enjoyed the Thai restaurant just outside the hotel and the Italian Restaurant on the 2nd floor when getting out.

GGuest UserThere was a bit of messing around with the rooms when we arrived, but in the end we stayed in the room we originally booked. The room was like a full apartment with its own conservatory area, which we thought lovely. The highlight though was the location and view just outside though, the ginormous city park right across the street. It was all beautiful, we had a lovely coffee next to the water in the sun in the morning and the owner then took us in by car to discover the city center. At the end the owner again drove us with our suitcases to the train station. We absolutely loved our stay here.
Only downside I would say were the single use towels, which first of all were not very effective, secondly a horrible waste for the environment.
(On an additional small note regarding rooms, if you fear that guests would not like the cheapest room and insist they upgrade, you’re making the impression of having misled the guest during booking. We personally would have loved it, but we’re quite surprised to have it downplayed for us on arrival that it is too small and too loud. It was not too loud and size was good, perhaps a small cleaning to the windows and an upgrade in interior design could do the place good).

The location is incredibly convenient, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, making it a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. The front desk staff was very efficient and friendly during check-in, proactively explaining the hotel's amenities and providing recommendations for the surrounding area. It was a truly thoughtful experience.
The room was clean and tidy, odor-free, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bathroom had a nice dry/wet area with ample hot water, and the toiletries were better than expected. The breakfast was plentiful, with both Chinese and Western options, and the taste was excellent, catering to every taste. Overall, the value for money was excellent, and the service, environment, and cleanliness were impeccable. I'll definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to everyone!

GGuest UserAlthough Zhaoqing is a lovely place the transport to reach there from Kaiping was practically nonexistent. We almost scraped the idea of visiting until we found that we could transit and change to a bus from Jiangmen. Unfortunately we also hit another hitch at the Zhaoqing bus station because there was no public transport to the 7 Star Crags area where the hotel is located. However the pretty lady owner came to the rescue and picked us up. How cool is that? The lady boss is second to none. She was extremely helpful - suggesting places for food and attractions & even the order of doing them. Definitely the best part of staying here is her.
But her Homestay is great too. It’s very well located in front of the beautiful famous lake so we’re able to capture sunset and sunrise scenes easily.
In retrospect we should have stayed at least another night. Maybe we will meet again?
