Great
Ccaddi****This hotel is quite famous, with high ratings on Xiaohongshu and Trip.com. My stay was very satisfying. I arrived on an early flight and, just trying my luck, asked at the front desk if any rooms were available. To my surprise, they let me check into both rooms, and it was before 8 AM! I felt like I saved hundreds. Although the rooms are a bit old, they're well-maintained and very spacious. You can call to request more bottled water, and the breakfast is also good – but you need to go early for the best photo spots! I also requested the first shuttle to the Pyramids of Giza for the next morning at the concierge, which was super convenient. Highly recommended!
Lliz lakeI stayed at Pyramids View in my first night in Egypt and it was a great choice! Amazing view of the Giza Plateau from the rooftop & a nice dinner. Everyone here was so welcoming, and as a solo female traveler I felt very comfortable here- and you can't beat the free water, coffee/tea and breakfast. Great service beyond accomodation as well- I emailed them to see if I could schedule a private car to my Cairo hotel the next day (meeting up with my tour group), and they arranged everything at a great price & a quick response. Since I was leaving before breakfast, they even prepared a breakfast box for me in the morning! It may also be of interest that in my room was a brochure with a list of daily tours that they can organize as well. Highly recommend!
MM20402****The service was quite good. Lower floors near the road can be a bit noisy, but higher floors are fine. They upgraded our room type, and the room was large and clean, with quick service response. The hotel has many restaurants; the ramen and fried chicken at the Japanese restaurant were a lifesaver for my 'Chinese stomach' – I really couldn't eat any more 'Western food.' The view from the Nile corner is excellent; if you get up early, you can see a beautiful sunrise. It's a bit far from the airport but convenient for visiting the pyramids. My friend's room was even higher and offered a direct view of the pyramids; with a camera, you can get some amazing shots.
GGuest UserThe house is absolutely recommendable.
The Maria Pyramids House is excellently located right in front of the pyramids. The rooms are newly made and super. The rooms are very, very clean. I also liked the roof terrace with direct view to the pyramids. The hospitality and service of Osama and Ahmed were very, very good. The gentlemen always gave tips for the day design. The kitchen of Mrs Aeda was also great and breakfast on the roof terrace I enjoyed with view of the pyramids. I had 6 nights in the room and enjoyed every day.
The House has exceeded my expectations.
GGuest UserThis hotel has some of the kindest and most helpful people I have ever met. From the very first moment, the staff made me feel truly welcome. Any question or request was answered immediately — they always helped, explained, and guided me with genuine care.
There was a small issue with my room at first, but it was resolved right away. The staff quickly arranged a room change, and everything was handled smoothly and professionally.
I stayed in a room with a balcony, and it was absolutely amazing. The view is breathtaking — waking up and seeing the pyramids right in front of you is an unforgettable experience.
I would also like to highlight the hotel’s rooftop. Breakfasts are served there, and you can also just relax or order food from the restaurant. Eating while overlooking the pyramids is something truly special.
The hotel is located very close to the entrance of the Pyramids area — I even walked back to the hotel on foot after my visit. The Great Egyptian Museum is also just a 10–15 minute car ride, which is extremely convenient.
Once again, the staff deserves special praise: very friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything. They speak English very well, which makes communication easy and comfortable.
Airport transfer can be arranged both from and to the hotel, and payment at the reception is possible in both US dollars and Egyptian pounds.
Highly recommended — a place where you feel cared for and truly enjoy every moment of your stay.
DDaniel & Cici Around the WorldGiza Pyramid Inn is very conveniently located, right in front of the Pyramids, offering an amazing view from the rooftop. The breakfast was very good, and the ability to wake up and see the pyramids right outside is definitely a highlight of this stay.
However, there are a few important things to consider. While the pyramid view is stunning, the neighborhood itself leaves much to be desired. The area is chaotic, not well-organized, and quite dirty. As this is a very touristic spot, you will constantly encounter people asking for money or trying to overcharge you for something, which makes it essential to stay alert at all times.
The hotel itself follows the same pattern. The tours they offer are significantly overpriced, likely because some people pay for the convenience, but the prices are far from reasonable. Additionally, we were promised a takeaway breakfast due to our early flight, but when the time came to collect it, they said it was not available. Despite confirming our departure time in advance, we ended up having to buy food at the airport, which was disappointing.
Overall, if you are staying here for the location and the pyramid view, it might be worth it. However, be prepared for the typical tourist traps and be mindful of overpricing. It’s a place that offers convenience, but with some frustrations along the way.
GGuest UserThe staff are all very helpful.
The toilet and shower are also beautiful. There are soap, tissues and toilet paper.
The door has a key and a chain lock. There is also a safe in the room.
It was a very nice hotel. I moved to a different hotel now but I want to return to this hotel again (-_-)
❤❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️The staff were incredibly friendly.
The room was clean, but the front desk staff were especially friendly.
If I ever return, it'll probably be because of them.
The staff were incredibly friendly.
The room was clean, but what stood out most was how exceptionally kind the front desk staff were.
If I ever return, it'll probably be because of them.
JJamminontha1The service was great. Everyone was friendly and attentive and ready to help. The staff were at the front desk at all hours of the night. The rooftop views of the pyramids and the museum in the day and night are fantastic. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of foods to choose from and lots of seating. My Uber account wasn’t working, so the hotel was able to order me one. It came with a surcharge, but it was better than taking a taxi. There’s AC and plenty of space and storage in the room. Everyone has a good grasp of the English language. There is a great outdoor area to just relax day or night and next door is a tiny market for snacks and an oil shop.
There are only a couple of cons:
1. They don’t take old or work out USD bills
2. I was given inconsistent pricing for the excursions they offered, so I booked most of them elsewhere
3. My room had no ventilation and I was unable to open my window. Also, after room service came in, it would smell faintly of cigarettes.
4. I was hand-washing and hanging clothes and housekeeping kept shutting the door to the bathroom so my clothes couldn’t dry and smelled moldy. The housekeeper for my floor didn’t speak good English, so it was a lost cause.
5. The tv only had like 10 channels and all Arabic and mostly news and religious
Overall, I would book this hotel again, but maybe request a room with a window that opens or bring a mini-fan and room spray.
CcontumacysgFacilities: Very old, far from 4-star standard. WiFi is incredibly slow, and my 4G/5G mobile data (from an Orange SIM card bought at Cairo Airport T1) was completely unusable once I entered the room.
Cleanliness: The hotel is only 20 meters from the pyramid entrance. The downstairs area and the entire hotel lobby reeked of horse and camel manure! The room itself was slightly better.
Ambiance: The rooftop dining area offers a nice view.
Service: The owner and staff were quite friendly and helpful, which was probably the best aspect of this hotel.
