ShawnLiLocation Very convenient with walking distance to twin tower. The hotel has at least 4 restaurants with a premier gym also. Every night, there is live music in the bar area, really enjoyed the atmosphere. The room is sparkling clean. Except the pillows are a bit too hard for me, but the staff changed me softer ones. The only thing that I think can be improved is the variety of the breakfast, everyday the food is almost the same. But overall, very good experience for my stay.

Guest UserAlthough the room was small, the service was exceptionally attentive. The staff promptly resolved the issue with the air conditioning, and since we were celebrating our anniversary, the hotel thoughtfully prepared a cake and swan towel decorations. Most importantly, the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices.

Guest UserThis hotel is great. After getting off the car, a Chinese-speaking staff member provided excellent service; he was very genuine. The room was spacious and quiet, and the in-room swimming pool was nice, though a bit cold when first getting in. There was a Chinese-speaking person at the front desk for check-in, and another slightly chubby English-speaking female receptionist was very polite. The viewing platform on the 51st floor is absolutely beautiful, but the infinity pool closes at 10 PM. It felt like we had just returned from Pavilion and barely had time to enjoy it before it closed. I suggest extending the opening hours, as seeing the Petronas Twin Towers at night really enhances the experience when you're on vacation. There's a place nearby where you can have a drink and a light meal, and the food is quite good, but it seems no one there speaks Chinese. In the evening, on the M or G floor (I forget which, it's where you bring luggage in from the parking area), there were three front desk gentlemen who were all very nice and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend staying at The RuMa Hotel & Residences for a day if you're visiting Kuala Lumpur. After all, life is about experiencing good things, and with only about 30,000 days in a lifetime, every happy day counts, haha! 😄

Guest UserHad a wonderful stay here! The service was excellent, and they even helped me with an early check-in, which I truly appreciated. A special thanks to ALAM, who was extremely kind, helpful, and made sure everything was taken care of throughout my stay. The room service was also very good and prompt. The view from the 46th floor was absolutely amazing and made the experience even more special I would definitely recommend both this place and ALAM for the amazing hospitality. Looking forward to coming back and staying here again!

Ng siek lengThe breakfast was incredibly rich, with Western, local, and Chinese options. Everything was very fresh and unique, and there were plenty of choices for vegetarians. The room was exceptionally comfortable, though the soundproofing wasn't the best. I could hear cars and motorcycles from the 11th floor even at midnight. The hotel did provide earplugs, which helped a bit.

GarfieldtangAn easy checked in and out procedure by the concierge. The suite was clean, spacious and had a beautiful view from balcony. It was equipped with a TV, fridge, kettle, microwave, three air conditioners, washing machine, dryer, detergent and toiletries. The parking lot was guarded. It was very convenient as Bila-Bila Mart and HWC cafeteria downstairs. Walking distance to Foodie @ Kuchai, durian store, chapel, shop lots and Econsave. Therefore, I strongly recommend this suite to all travellers at Kuala Lumpur!

hantaThe South and North towers have separate front desks and pricing, but many common facilities are shared. I was in the North Tower, but I could still go to the South Tower's rooftop pool to enjoy the night view, which was quite beautiful. However, Kuala Lumpur is a magical city; on one side, you have magnificent skyscrapers, and then you open a door on the other side to a slum.

*Example 1: 5-Star Positive Review - ”The Grand Seaview Resort, Langkawi”*
*Title: Perfect getaway - exceeded every expectation* ⭐⭐
My wife and I stayed at The Grand Seaview Resort for 4 nights in August 2026 and it was easily the best hotel experience we’ve had in Malaysia.
*Check-in & Staff*
From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredible. Check-in was smooth even though we got there 2 hours early. They upgraded us to a Sea View Suite for free because it was our anniversary. The front desk team remembered our names the whole trip, and the concierge, Aina, went above and beyond booking us a sunset dinner on the beach.
*Room*
We had the Deluxe Sea View Suite on the 12th floor. The room was massive, spotless, and smelled amazing. King bed was super comfortable, balcony had direct ocean views, and the bathroom had a rain shower + bathtub. Wifi was fast, AC was quiet, and turndown service every night with chocolate was a nice touch.
*Food*
Breakfast buffet at ”Ombak” was a 10/10. Huge selection of local and Western food. We tried the laksa station and fresh durian every morning 😂 Dinner at the beachfront restaurant was pricey but worth it. The grilled barramundi and mocktails were amazing. Room service was also quick, ∼25 mins.
*Facilities*
The infinity pool overlooking the sea is the main highlight. Never felt crowded even on weekends. Spa was expensive but the 90-min couples massage was worth every ringgit. Gym is well-equipped and open 24 hours. Kids club and water park kept my niece busy for hours.
*Location*
10 mins from Cenang Beach and 20 mins from airport. Grab was easy to get. Hotel also provides free shuttle to Pantai Cenang twice a day.
*Overall*
Yes, it’s not cheap at ~RM850/night, but for the service, views, and food you get what you pay for. We will 100% come back. If you’re celebrating something, tell them at booking - they really make it special.
*Tip*: Ask for floors 10-15 for the best view and less noise.

*Example 2: 3-Star Mixed Review - ”City Hub Hotel, KL”*
*Title: Good location, but rooms need updating* ⭐⭐
Stayed 2 nights for business in July 2026.
*The Good:*
Location is unbeatable. 3 min walk to Bukit Bintang and MRT. Staff at reception were friendly and check-in took 5 mins. Wifi was stable enough for Zoom calls. Price was good at RM220/night.
*The Not So Good:*
Room was clean but very dated. Carpet had stains and bathroom tiles were old. AC was noisy at night. No blackout curtains so 6am sunlight woke me up. Breakfast was basic - toast, eggs, nasi lemak. Nothing special.
*Verdict:*
If you just need a place to sleep and be in the city center, it’s fine value. But if you want comfort and modern facilities, spend RM100 more elsewhere. I’d stay again only for short business trips.

Guest UserThe bathtub wasn't clean, it had hair in it, but everything else was quite clean. The bed was large and comfortable. The view from the window was nice, and there's a McDonald's right across the street (you do have to cross a main road to get to it). The air conditioning was sufficiently cold.
