Hualien Hotels with Rooftop Pools

"Lakeshore Hotel Hualien Taroko has three buildings, which can be a bit confusing, but the staff were all very polite and patiently explained everything. The breakfast in the restaurant was abundant, delicious, and offered a wide and refined selection. I didn't realize when booking that breakfast wasn't included, so I added it for 500 per person, which I felt was well worth it. The room was clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. They also provided complimentary afternoon tea snacks. The surrounding environment is natural and spacious, and you can walk to the beach in just a short while. Overall, I was very satisfied."

"Best best best hotel we have ever stayed in. Services provided was excellent. All staff were very genuinely. It really felt like a 5 star hotel. We stayed in another 5 star hotel in Jiaoxi which is No. 1 in Jiaoxi but the service cannot be matched. Well done to all the staff. Room was always clean. Thank you to the staff who cleaned our spectacle. It was a nice gesture. Different snacks were topped up everyday. The face mask provided was so good! Surrounding of the hotel was very nice. We had the gorge view and OMG! We don't mind waking up to this view everyday. We hope they will contruct a stairs for guest to go down to the gorge. It is a waste to just see it from the top. Breakfast was good. We could see that they have made an effort to label which is vegetarian and which is not. It's very thoughtful of the restaurant. However, we had a seafood porridge and thought it was purely seafood but notice there was chicken in it but not written. Maybe they can improve in this. Kids are very well entertained in this hotel. They have a huge play room for them. Indoor pool with heated pool is enough to keep the kids occupied for 2hours at least. They also have daily activities and some are free. Thank you Silk Place for the wonderful stay. We will be back."

"The hotel is new, but the food items provided for breakfast are relatively few. I happened to encounter a foreigner speaking English during breakfast and wanted to order omelettes, but it was a pity that no one on the staff understood him. The design of the bathroom equipment in the 9F hotel is full of creativity. There is no door in the shower room, and the shower head discharges water from the high ceiling. These two designs make it easier for people to feel cold when taking a shower. The balcony facing the harbor view is nice."

"The hotel's environment is good, at the foot of the mountain, you can walk uphill. The hotel itself has a hot spring spa, although there are not many pools, but it is authentic enough. There is also a water park and swimming pool. The environment inside the hotel is quiet and the bridge is flowing. The breakfast buffet is rich and the parking is convenient. The rooms are clean and spacious with their own bubble pool."

"The invincible sea view is great and a great place to relax. But the public facilities are only the swimming pool and the garden with an incomparable sea view, and there is no other place to go. The hotel room facilities are great, and the room is filled with the scent of wood, which makes you feel very comfortable. There are also high-end coffee machines and free drinks and bubbles. And it’s very chilling to take a bath in the room and enjoy the sea view."

"The room was incredible. Very Modern, large, beautifully designed and furnished. Bed very comfortable. Medium softness. Bathroom luxurious. Had a table and corner seating area in the room. Large windows with incredible views of the harbour. The main foyer is beautiful. You really feel like a resort hotel. Location right in the heart of the city. Only 10 in taxi from train station. Breakfast great option, many options. The staff are very friendly, attentive, helpful. They booked a last minute private driver CJ Chen for a 5 hour tour into the gorge. Good English and knowledgeable. This is the nicest hotel we have stayed in while in Taiwan."

"We were very satisfied with our stay with family, both in terms of service and facilities. Firstly, they offered a complimentary shuttle service from Hualien Station to the hotel, and our driver, Xiao Gang, kindly introduced Hualien along the way. Upon arriving at the hotel, the front desk staff helped us carry our luggage to our room. The outdoor swimming pool was also very comfortable, with live music playing by the poolside, showing the hotel's attention to detail. We opted for the one-night, two-meal package, and both dinner and breakfast featured a wide variety of delicious ingredients. The bathroom in our room even had a steam room. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hualien."

"This is truly the best eco-luxury hotel in Taiwan. Everything, from the accommodation quality and the environment to the service, is impeccable. There are so many activities available, both free and paid, making it an excellent choice for a family vacation. It was such a pleasant surprise to see peacocks freely roaming and even flying within the Feng Zhi Gu ecological park. The new mall and walking path located between the Starbucks and 7-Eleven nearby are also definitely worth exploring. The only slight downside is that they don't offer bicycle rentals that can be ridden outside the park. If you have specific guest activities you'd like to participate in, it's best to check the activity schedule and confirm by phone before making your booking and travel arrangements."

"Dinner was the same for two consecutive nights. I wish at least one-third of the dinners were different. I would carefully consider this option if I were planning to stay for multiple consecutive nights next time. The bed was also problematic; the person sleeping next to me kept being shaken awake when they turned over, making me think it was an earthquake. The pillows were too flat and lacked support, causing me to get a stiff neck. I hope they can provide higher, more supportive pillows."
