The old streets and alleys hide authentic flavors, and the hotel is within walking distance of the Garden Vegetable Market, offering a dazzling array of fresh seafood and local snacks. Specialties like 'qian gao' (glutinous rice cake) and 'mai you jian' (fried wheat pancake) left a lasting impression, truly a culinary feast in a 'city of mountains and seas.' The hotel's dining was equally surprising. The breakfast featured freshly cooked noodles and made-to-order Taizhou specialty snacks, complemented by freshly ground coffee and fresh fruit – the quality rivals that of a five-star hotel. What's even more heartwarming is the staff's genuine hospitality, from their smiling greetings upon check-in to proactively recommending dining routes and even preparing portable breakfasts for guests catching early flights. Their warmth and attentiveness felt just like family. The room comfort was perfect! The New Chinese design incorporates mountain and sea elements, and the fully smart amenities are convenient and thoughtful. "Here's the takeaway: excellent facilities, but just okay service – a bit of a shame overall. The hotel's public areas, rooms, and pool are very stylish and make for great photos. They've paid attention to the details too: bath salts, disposable bath liners, foot bath basins, multi-purpose charging cables, and wireless charging are all provided, making for a very convenient stay. However, breakfast was a real disappointment. The only highlight was the fresh-squeezed juice; everything else was mediocre. We came to Taizhou specifically for the local glutinous delicacies, and yet, despite egg mochi and other items being clearly advertised on a billboard above the restaurant, none were available when we asked. If they can't provide them, why advertise them and get people's hopes up? Service-wise, the cleaning staff and the pool receptionists were all very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the front desk staff had a poker face throughout, which was a stark contrast to the warm environment and lowered our first impression. In summary: It's great for photos and relaxation, but don't come here expecting a fantastic breakfast or warm service. I'd suggest the hotel focus more on improving breakfast and staff training at the front desk; otherwise, even the best facilities won't be enough to build a good reputation."

"This was my second stay, and I'm very satisfied with everything. The front desk arranged a free room upgrade, and this room type was excellent. The only issue was someone wrote down the wrong room number, and a robot delivered takeout to my room close to midnight, which startled me. Otherwise, everything was fine. The front desk promptly explained the situation. Accidents happen, but it didn't affect my overall experience."

"Stayed here for Zhou Shen's concert in Taizhou, and the hotel service was excellent. They even provided a shuttle service to the concert. Although we had to wait a bit for the shuttle back at night, we still got back to the hotel smoothly. The concierge was very enthusiastic and helpful with all our questions. The hotel's location is super convenient for getting to both the mall and the stadium. Our room was clean and tidy. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with a great variety including Taizhou's glutinous rice, spring rolls, and wheat pancakes. They even gave us a souvenir gift."

"I spent a night at the Pullman Taizhou Hongye and it was truly rejuvenating. The floor-to-ceiling window offered a stunning view of the Jiaojiang River. In the evening, leaning by the window and watching the city lights come on, I felt completely relaxed and at peace. The bedding was so comfortable I didn't want to get up, and breakfast on the 25th floor offered a wide variety of delicious options. The service was also exceptionally pleasant. It wasn't overtly enthusiastic, yet I felt taken care of in every aspect. This perfect balance of warmth and attentiveness is truly memorable. Next time I visit Taizhou, I'll definitely stay here again. 😌"

"An absolutely wonderful stay! Worth every word I'm about to write. **Facilities:** The amenities are incredibly thoughtful and refined. There's a courtyard, and you can dry clothes on the rooftop. We happened to catch a light rain, and if you don't mind, you can just sit in the courtyard and listen to it fall – very pleasant. **Breakfast:** We heard the breakfast is made by 'Auntie,' and you can truly taste the local flavors. I highly recommend the 'Mai Xia' (shrimp and wheat noodles, I assume). **Hygiene:** Absolutely spotless, no complaints whatsoever. **Environment:** The hotel is a guesthouse converted from an old building, with a bookstore in the front and the guesthouse behind. It's beautifully laid out and I loved it. You can also sit and have tea, which is very relaxing. **Service:** This is where I really want to elaborate. The service was the most delightful surprise. I'm used to the standardized service of five-star hotels, but this time I wanted a change of scenery and chose this place for its location and cultural features. The service, however, truly astonished me. Unlike typical hotel service, this place offers a warmth that feels more like trust between family and friends. Let me list a few points: 1. They added me on WeChat before check-in. Before we even got out of the car, staff members were sent to meet us at the intersection. 2. On the day of check-in, something in the room triggered my allergies. (Disclaimer: I am allergic to certain things, but my travel companion had no reaction, so the room itself wasn't the issue.) I initially thought I'd just tough it out, but around 10:30-11 PM, I noticed my allergy worsening. On a whim, I messaged the owner via WeChat. To my surprise, an employee was sent to check on me in less than 2 minutes and even accompanied me to look at other rooms to see if there was one that wouldn't trigger my allergies. This truly amazed me. Not every hotel (including five-stars) can offer such a quick response and professional service. 3. On check-out day, I went to Ziyang Street next door to buy pastries. Just as I stepped out, it started pouring rain. The owner immediately called me, but I missed the call. They then sent a WeChat message asking if I needed an umbrella delivered. This message felt incredibly heartwarming. Even though I had my own raincoat, their thoughtfulness made me feel like they treat guests as cherished friends. There's not much to photograph inside the room, but here are three pictures of the view from the window and rooftop.
