"The hotel is located in Gangnam-gu, which is convenient for medical aesthetics and shopping in the area. The room facilities are generally good, and the service is decent. They provide two bottles of mineral water daily, and refills cost extra, but it's not expensive. There's an afternoon tea area in the hotel lobby. The staff at check-in spoke limited Mandarin, but we managed to communicate."

"The hotel is about 500-600 meters from Exit 2 of Subway Line 9. There are many convenience stores, an Olive Young, Paris Baguette, and local eateries nearby, which is very convenient. Public transportation is excellent, with buses running until 11 PM. Within a 2-kilometer radius, you'll also find a variety of dessert shops, bubble tea places, cafes, and fast-food restaurants. If you're looking to shop, Line 9 goes directly to the Gangnam Shopping Center area. Moreover, the hotel is tucked away in a quiet spot but still close to everything, right next to Mount Jeungmi. It's a great option for friends who enjoy morning runs or hiking. Just a small heads-up: the hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste, but you can easily buy them at the convenience store downstairs."

"I stayed here because I had business in the area. The location of the accommodation is good, and there are various things to see nearby, so it was nice for a walk. I recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"Traveling solo, my stay at this hotel far exceeded my expectations. The room was meticulously clean, and the hotel's location was excellent, making getting around very convenient. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and friendly, making communication a breeze. The room amenities were new and complete, and the twin room was spacious, providing a comfortable and secure stay. Overall, my experience was fantastic, and I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit."

"Just a 2-minute walk from Gongdeok Station. It's recommended to use the exits with escalators (Exits 2, 7, and 9). The room was clean, and there was a long desk by the bedside, which was convenient for various tasks. Bath towels, face towels, bath mats, bathrobes, and other amenities were provided (and replaced with new ones during the second day's cleaning). The only inconveniences I felt were the absence of a clock and a humidifier. Also, on the second night, I needed ice due to feeling unwell, and when I asked the front desk, they said, ”The restaurant has closed, so we cannot provide ice.” Fortunately, there's a 7-Eleven on the first floor where you can buy it. There are three Olive Young stores nearby, which was very convenient as I could immediately take my purchases back to the hotel room. Gongdeok Station is also a stop for the Airport Railroad, making it very convenient for travel. You can reach Hongik University Station and Seoul Station with a single train ride."

"Hotel service isexceptional . They let me leave my luggage for a few days. They also extended my check out time by one hour when I did not want any cleaning done, and upgraded my room. I stayed at the hotel twice, both times sea view, and so its pretty. The room itself is clean and aircon works well and its silent. Location is a bit further away from Incheon airport and taxi costs around USD16-18. There are many seafood restaurants around,the hotel."

"This is an older hotel, but its location is quite good. My room didn't have a universal adapter, but thankfully I was able to borrow one from the front desk. The disposable toiletries were all well-stocked, and the cleanliness was decent. However, I couldn't sleep well at night because of a noise, I'm not sure if it was the air conditioner's motor or something else, but it was very loud."

"This was my second stay at Mercure, and it was just as fantastic as the first. Since the hotel opened in 2024, the amenities are incredibly user-friendly; you don't even need to bring a plug adapter because all the sockets in the rooms are Asian-style. The facilities are also excellent, with a gym, swimming pool, and restaurant. The front desk staff's English communication was flawless and very welcoming – it seems many young Koreans speak English well now. The room itself was very clean, fresh, quiet, and comfortable. I've previously commented on the excellent location, which is super convenient: it's accessible via Subway Lines 9 and 5, and the Airport Railroad, with a stop at Mapo-dong. Mercure's layout is very well-planned. If you're coming from the Airport Railroad, take exit 6 and on B2, head towards the 'Square' (there are hotel signs). You don't even need to go outside; you'll find the hotel elevator right next to the 7-Eleven. Take that directly up to the 6th floor for the front desk. This is a huge time-saver if it's raining or cold outside. The Airport Railroad is also great for getting to the airport and the city center. The Mapo-dong area itself is primarily an office district, so it's quiet and less crowded. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes downstairs. If you want to go to Lotte Market to buy food and clothes, it's just one subway stop away at Gimpo Airport, where there's a big Lotte! I even managed to capture the sunrise with amazing fiery clouds from my window at 6 AM – what a spectacular view! I'll definitely be staying here again. Super highly recommended!"

"The location is fantastic! Although the room was small, the layout was very efficient. I was surprised they even managed to fit a bathtub and had a separate wet/dry area in such a small space – only in Japan/Korea! The great location meant I could pop back to the hotel to drop off my shopping, which saved a lot of time. Plus, if you cut through the Olive Young store next door, you can get to the other side of the street easily. When checking out, you can use the self-service machine on the first floor, which is super quick. Cars can pull right up to the entrance in the morning and evening. At other times, you have to walk a short distance, but overall, it's very convenient – a one-stop shop for eating, shopping, and exploring!"
