Scenic Hotels in Lisbon

"Pros: The public area on the first basement level is huge, and the kitchen is also very large, connecting to a garden, which is lovely. Cons: There are only shared restrooms and showers. The showers are push-button style, so you have to keep pressing them. However, there are several restrooms and showers on each floor, which is quite sufficient, and I didn't have to queue. Location: There are quite a few slopes nearby; you'll need to walk uphill from the subway station. If you have a lot of luggage, I recommend taking a taxi. Cleanliness: Good, very clean."

"I recently stayed at Hotel Lumen and had a really great experience. The service was outstanding – the staff were friendly, helpful and always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms are delightfully spacious and modern, much larger than what you usually find, with comfortable king size bed. The bar deserves a special mention: they serve excellent drinks and cocktails, perfect for unwinding in the evening at also to see the lightshow from or going out to the patio Location-wise, it's very convenient depending on your plans – close to metro and within easy reach of both the city center and other areas. Overall, highly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!"

"Ikonic hotel (Parque das Nações) is lovely, modern, very confortable, and very well achieved architecture and decoration/style. The location is great. The staff members are very professional and polite, and overall the hotel service is excellent. And the hotel has beautiful views to the river Tejo. Very pleased with the experience and will definitely come back."

"I had a wonderful stay at FH Fénix Urban Hotel. Everything exceeded my expectations – the rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming and relaxing. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. The breakfast was rich and varied, with plenty of delicious options to choose from, which made each morning even more enjoyable.  The location is also very convenient, making it easy to explore the city. I truly enjoyed every aspect of my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon. I would happily stay here again!"

"After a very stressful day of delays and cancellations at the airport it very nice to be welcomed into such a nicely managed and very clean hotel, don’t be discouraged by the appearance of the building from the outside, all I can say is once you get into your room you will be pleasantly surprised. If all that you need is somewhere to lay your weary head with WIFI included then give this one a try"

"A pleasant stay for 2 nights. Reception was very helpful and pleasant. Room was not ready when I check in at 4pm. And they offer me some nice butter cookies . Room was clean. Mattress was comfortable!  When I had problem locking my room door, they send the hotel guy to help me look into the issue. It was coz I did not use enough strength to turn the knob to lock it. Case resolved immediately. While I did not require my room to be disturbed, they offered to change my towels. Nice gestures. Location definitely excellent, just above the metro station, Marques De Pombal. Very centrally located , near a huge park and near the city!!"

"Very good hotel in regards to the location and facilities, the only issue was that the rooms are really not that sound proof. I’ve heard multiple pounds and noises coming from the rooms next or above me making it hard for me to sleep unfortunately."

"This hotel boasts an unbeatable location near the Arc de Triomphe and shopping streets, with a beautifully decorated, tourist-grade lobby. 🏨 The light green roof visible from the small balcony of room 403 was absolutely stunning. 🌈 The front desk staff were generally pleasant; the female staff spoke fluent English and were very kind, while the male staff were a bit more reserved, but overall, it was fine. We went to drop off our luggage early, and they even called or WhatsApped us to let us know when our room was ready and brought our bags up for us – a pleasant surprise given the typically slow pace of service in Portugal. The velvet interior of the lobby was so luxurious it made me forget the taste of the welcome cocktail I received. 🍷🍹 Most importantly, the room was immaculately clean, with not a speck of dust on the TV or picture frames. The selection of teas, coffee, and even a washing machine made me regret only staying for one night. If I ever come back to Portugal, I would definitely book this accommodation again. 🇰🇷🇪🇸"

"The hotel's location is pretty good, making it easy to get to all the attractions. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was a bit small, and the facilities were just average. It's a bit noisy since it's close to the road, but the public transport is quite convenient. Overall, it's just decent."

"I booked this hotel cause it a close location to many things around in Lisbon. While it is not a fancy hotel, it serves well for solo travellers and families. The room was very spacious and the AC worked well. The cleaning service came every day and left the room clean and fresh. Breakfast was included with our stay, and it was a usual hotel breakfast. You could pick from hot items such as scrambled eggs and meat products like beans and sausage or bacon. On one day they also had mushrooms. Then of course the bread variety and some pastry items such as croissant and muffins. Cheeses, yoghurt and fruits as well cereals were available. Eating breakfast at 10 AM usually filled us up for the day and we hardly ate lunch outside. The staff was friendly and when we requested an iron they provided that with no problem. The room had a small safe for valuables when we left for the day and plenty of storage space for the clothes and suit cases. The bathroom was very nice as well, lots of counter space and even a clothing line across the tub to hang some items to dry if you had to was a shirt or socks. The hotel is located across small soccer practice field so from our balcony we could watch people play some soccer games. Be advised the hotel is very close to the airport (about 10 min) so there was noise from planes but hardly noticeable. During our stay, 2 of the main elevators broke and were not usable but luckily we were on the second floor so taking the stairs was easy but they do have other elevators available. And for anyone not looking to leave the hotel for lunch or dinner, they provide plenty of dishes in their restaurant and bar area. But just a few steps around that area, you will find great places to eat such a Turkish restaurant with a 10 page menu I highly recommend to try."
