Hotels in Dalian with sea view​

I booked late, so I could only get a Quiet Room. The room was very clean, and the bedding was excellent. The front desk service was also good. This hotel has been open for many years. There are private rooms upstairs and a buffet downstairs. It's very close to the beach, and the Tongniu Mountain Scenic Area is right next to it. Overall, it was a great experience.

Absolutely beautiful! I've been coming here for four or five years now, every May Day and Dragon Boat Festival. I love the duplex rooms with a sea view, and I adore the courtyard where I can enjoy the flowers. The Western restaurant food is incredibly good; it's hard to believe a B&B can serve such excellent Western cuisine. In the evenings, I love sipping tea in the little courtyard, listening to the waves, and ordering some spicy stir-fried seafood delivery. It's truly a delight!

The service was great! A day before check-in, the staff contacted me to ask about my child's information and provided suitable slippers and other amenities. When we arrived, they quickly arranged for an extra pillow and blanket upon request. They also accommodated our late check-out. Although the facilities are a bit old and the summer premium was high, the balcony sea view was absolutely stunning and left us with wonderful memories. A quick tip: it's best to bring your own hairdryer (the hotel's is quite old) and shower slippers (they only provide disposable ones). If you plan on taking a bath, bring your own large bath liner (you can also order one via delivery once you're at the hotel). The main bed was very comfortable, but the sofa bed was not.

A beautiful apartment with a view of the fishing port. The terrace, sunny all day, is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee and relaxing. The apartment is very stylish, a blend of industrial and romantic elements. Everything is very well-equipped, and the location is peaceful. The service is excellent, with a very professional approach to our requests. The resident dog is a real bonus. Very friendly, he's the hotel's mascot. The included breakfast was delicious and prepared entirely to order. The surrounding area is fantastic, with the opportunity to enjoy a variety of fresh seafood and fish right at the port, barbecue-style. An excellent restaurant completes the experience, just two minutes from the hotel.

My stay at The Castle Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Dalian was fantastic! The hotel looks just like a fairy-tale castle, and the night views are especially enchanting. The room was spacious and comfortable, fully equipped and well-maintained. A special shout-out to the noodle chef at the breakfast restaurant—his service was warm and attentive, he recommended noodle dishes based on my preferences, and the noodles he cooked were exceptionally delicious. Dansey provided thoughtful service, with quality shining through every little detail. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Dalian and will recommend it to my friends. A thoroughly satisfying stay experience!

The room overlooked the sea and the cliffs, offering a beautiful view. At night, the sound of the tide was mesmerizing. I intentionally woke up early to catch the sunrise, watching the sun slowly ascend and the sea sparkle with golden light as fishing boats sailed by – truly a memorable experience. The hotel staff were warm, friendly, and attractive. The complimentary photo shoot was a delightful surprise; the photographer was excellent at guiding poses, making me feel comfortable and resulting in natural and stunning shots. The photo selection assistant was patient, professional, had a great eye, and was also very beautiful, making the selection process efficient and effective.

Highly recommended! Very comfortable for family trips with children. The location is excellent, right next to Exit 4 through the back door. In the evenings, there's live music indoors and a band outdoors. You can enjoy the lively atmosphere from the balcony, and it's vibrant but not noisy. The in-room amenities are quite thoughtful. The tissue brand offers great value for money – soft and dust-free. The air freshener has a pleasant, non-irritating scent, showing careful consideration in procurement. Overall, there are no significant downsides, except for the foot pedal on the bathroom trash can, which is a bit stiff. Upgrading to a better model would be ideal, but it didn't really impact our stay. Additionally, the front desk staff, both men and women, were very diligent and responsible, especially Chow Pak Ho. Since we arrived early in the morning, he promptly arranged our check-in and upgraded our room as soon as a vacant one became available. We are very grateful. Our child had a wonderful time and gained a lot. We plan to come back next summer with friends and their family. We hope the standards are maintained and even improved upon!

Overall, I was very satisfied, with the exception of the lack of a kids' play area. The Executive Lounge, in particular, was perfect for families with young children. Our little one couldn't finish a full meal but would get hungry again quickly, so the Executive Lounge, with its executive lounge service and light meals, was great for them to grab a few bites. The hotel is conveniently located near Xinghai Square, and there are amusement facilities downstairs, which was also very handy. The room layout was practical and comfortable for daily living. One minor point: the room lighting was a bit dim, and the showerhead was a bit old and could use an upgrade. However, both the room service and lobby service were excellent. The view outside the window was really nice! Although the hotel is older, it's very well-maintained and doesn't show its age at all. The comfort level was good, and the breakfast was diverse and plentiful.

Our butlers, Maggie and Lily, provided exceptional service. They checked in on us via WeChat every day, and since the temperature has been fluctuating lately, they thoughtfully prepared a humidifier and a space heater for us. The hotel offers great overall views, especially the stunning ocean scenery. The Donggang area is generally quite peaceful, with Xinghai Square right downstairs. The hotel boasts full amenities, including a swimming pool and gym that are both spotless and convenient to use. The living environment was comfortable, and everything was clean and hygienic.

Traveling to Dalian with my elderly parents, we stayed at the Dalian Xinghai Holiday Hotel. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its excellent location. As soon as you step out, you can enjoy the sea view and the cross-sea bridge. It's also very close to Sun Asia Ocean World and Xinghai Park, which was really convenient for traveling with older family members. The breakfast was good, with shrimp available, though there weren't many vegetable options. We also received a complimentary afternoon tea, but the selection was limited, and the small cakes and bread felt like leftovers from breakfast. Other facilities were just average, and the service was unremarkable. At over 500 a night, its main draw is the prime sea-view location. If convenience and sea views are your priorities, this hotel is worth considering.
