Hotel is connected to a mall. Great location. Room is clean. Breakfast at Magnolia has an extensive spread. Quality of food is good, nice presentation and service by staff is excellent. Ambience at Club lounge is nice. What stands out most in this 5* hotel is the world class service rendered by all staff consistently. There is no staff that isn’t polite or helpful. Many go the extra mile to ensure that the hotel guests needs are well taken care of. Special thanks to Evan of the Club Lounge who attended to us when we checked in and Tian when we checked out, Bayu and colleagues (Conceige) who assisted us with ordering of Spikoe lapis cake and Bu Rudy, Lita and David (Magnolia) who served us at our table and Bastian and team for keeping the room clean. We highly recommend this hotel.

I first came here in 1992 when this hotel was a construction site.I was part of the design team of this hotel. I did attend this hotel opening in 1995.I was also involved in the renovation around 2017. The hotel is quite old now but still retain it's charm. The feel when I arrived was like visiting the home of an old friend. The birthday cake from the hotel is a very heart warming gesture and highly appreciated 🥰

Really clean room, I check few spot that might be missed by the cleaning crew but it's spotless no dust... Unfortunately there's no smart tv, I think if they plan on updating the room they should install them to make the guests more comfortable

Hotel Majapahit Surabaya MGallery is absolutely stunning, though it might be a bit spooky if you're staying alone. Considering how long it's been around, the service and facility maintenance are quite decent. Breakfast: The food quality is good, with a wider variety compared to hotels in Bali, and it's not just typical 'Western' fare. Cleanliness: There are a few minor details that could be cleaner, but it's not a deal-breaker. Facilities: The power outlets seem to be British standard. There's one adapter in the room that can convert to European standard. I recommend bringing a power strip as one outlet won't be enough. Also, the outlets by the desk are linked to the master switch by the bed, so they lose power when you turn it off (this is crucial to remember). I suggest using the outlets near the floor by the bathroom door, as they are not connected to the master switch.

I'll stay in Versa Hotel will be one that we would remember for a long time. The place was clean the lobby was lively and the overall experience of staying here was perfect. The room was huge with lots of pillow and the toilet was clean new and have a separated place between the closet and the shower area making the room less smelly as well as localizing the wet and the dry areas. Worth to mention is the provided free drip filter coffee which was a 10 out of 10 and actually served as a replacement from our regular morning coffee. Especially with the discount from trip.com I would suggest this five-star hotel to anybody who's coming to the western part of Surabaya.

If you want to be near Tunjungan without the high price tag, this is the spot. It’s within walking distance, making it a perfect base for exploring. What really stood out was the hospitality, every single staff member greeted us, which is a huge plus point for friendliness! Breakfast was okay. Nothing fancy, but enough to get the day started. It’s very affordable, you definitely get what you paid for. A solid, budget-friendly choice.

They offer free valet parking, as the parking space is limited when it is more crowded. Nice clean room, nice breakfast.

Most people visiting Surabaya choose the zoo as an activity, and this hotel is conveniently located about a 10-minute walk away. The surrounding area has a very local, bustling vibe. Right outside, you'll find many street food stalls similar to breakfast spots in China, especially on weekends when Jalan Progo turns into a vibrant market with countless snacks and sundry goods – truly a melting pot of cultures. The hotel's environment and cleanliness are excellent. While there's no bottled water in the room, the water dispenser on each floor is very convenient. Some toiletries need to be requested from the front desk, and the power outlets are only compatible with Indonesian plugs. The call to prayer around 4:30 AM is unavoidable, and the sound insulation from outside isn't great. The breakfast selection isn't vast, but it caters well to a 'Chinese stomach' with fried rice, fried noodles, and noodle soup. Coffee, milk, juice, and other beverages are also available, so you can definitely eat your fill. There's also an in-house coffee station on the ground floor. The service is very enthusiastic. Considering the price, you can't expect too much, but the staff consistently smiles, answers all questions, and even opens doors when you enter or exit – which is already quite impressive.

We enjoy our stay here. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food for breakfast is variety and delicious. The location is strategic, near the mall and hot spot around surabaya. Would absolutely recommend this hotel.

The location is in the city center, making it convenient to take a taxi to the zoo, Gubeng train station, Submarine Museum, and Cheng Ho Mosque. There's food available on the ground floor (the Indonesian congee in picture two), so if you arrive at night, you don't need to leave the hotel to find something to eat, and it seems like it's also available at lunchtime. There's a bar on the ground floor where you can buy drinks, but if you want individually packaged drinks, you can simply exit the hotel lobby and turn left (north) to the convenience store next door, which is very convenient. The room itself is decent; the air conditioning works well. The hotel doesn't provide bottled water, but it does offer disposable slippers, toothbrushes, and a hairdryer, so the amenities are quite acceptable. The front desk offers free luggage storage.
