📍 The hotel's location is truly superb! There's a subway downstairs, making getting around super convenient. Hongya Cave, Jiefangbei, Luohan Temple, Yangtze River Cableway, Chongqing Eling Park, and Baixiangju are all within easy walking distance 🦵. After a night out, it's incredibly convenient to just walk back! The hotel is on Kuaizi Street, and there are many delicious small eateries right downstairs ✌️. Staying here in Chongqing couldn't be more convenient - ̗̀(๑ᵔ⌔ᵔ๑)
🛏️ The room style is very upscale. We chose a family room, and our child absolutely loved it ✨. The cute little tent by the window was particularly charming ε٩(๑＞₃＜)۶з. Plus, you get a gorgeous night view from the window – super beautiful! And their mattresses and pillows are incredibly comfortable! After a tiring day, I fell asleep the moment I hit the bed 😪.
📸 The hotel also has a 'starry sky tunnel' which is fantastic for photos, and the lobby lounge is also perfect for pictures ^_^📷 – super photogenic ┏(＾0＾)┛📷.

The pool was 75% the reason we booked this room and the main downfall of the room is it takes around 4 hours to fill just over halfway (pictured below). By this time it’s quite cold. As Chongqing’s main focal point is the night lights; by the time we got back to our room at night, it would be too late to even use the pool because of how long it takes to fill. It was such a buzz kill. Obviously it’d be hard to install a second tap on the furtherest edge, so maybe the room needs a bucket so you can fill it with hot shower water and tip it into the pool at the same time"

"The hotel's environment and hygiene are excellent, and the bedding is comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The scenery is also beautiful, perfect for photos, and the room design is unique and impressive. The butler service was very warm; they personally escorted us and our luggage to the room and thoughtfully asked if we needed the air conditioning on – truly wonderful! The hotel also offers complimentary value-added services like laundry. We just had to hand our clothes to the mini-butler, and they were returned to us clean, without us having to go to the laundry room or operate the machines ourselves. It's fantastic! I knew I made the right choice!"

"Had a wonderful stay at the Hotel with its exceptional location making every destination within 30 minutes or less than 30 yuan per didi ride.
Rooms were well designed with most modern amenities but excluded any cutlery or crockery to complement their kitchenette with full fridge. Loved the automated bidet as well as washing/dryer provided. The city views are brilliant as well though they don't have views of hongyadong.
Amenities wise gym was under maintenance but was not informed earlier on this inconvenience. There's a convenience store downstairs as well as numerous eateries nearby and within jiefangbei walking distance.
Breakfast had a good spread however the food was mostly cold as if the warmers were not working.
There's a mandatory 500 yuan deposit which will be refunded upon check out. Hotel was kind enough to upgrade me to a higher floor room and provide me with a late check out at 2pm on a complimentary basis."

"We booked a family room, and it was incredibly spacious with two king-sized beds (2 meters each). The layout was very well-designed, and having two bathrooms with separate wet and dry areas was a huge plus – everything was clean, hygienic, and comfortable. The housekeeping staff tidied our room daily, which was lovely to come back to after a long day out. The room even had both a projector and a TV, so family members could easily watch what they preferred. The window offered a fantastic view of the Raffles City and the confluence of the two rivers. Plus, the Chaotianmen subway station is right downstairs. It's a shame I didn't take any photos of the hotel room, so I've included some beautiful Chongqing scenery and delicious food instead!"

"I was really satisfied with this high-rise hotel. Its location is excellent, very close to both the subway station and the cable car. My room was on the 44th floor, and the view was absolutely stunning with 270-degree floor-to-ceiling windows showing off the beautiful mountain city both day and night. The hammock was super comfortable, and taking a bath in the tub while overlooking the night view was incredibly relaxing. The room was clean and spacious, and I was surprised to find it even had a sauna – it was a great way to relieve fatigue after a day of exploring. It would be a shame to visit Chongqing and not experience one of these unique river-view rooms. Overall, a great experience!"

"Traveling with family, I booked a panoramic room, a scenic view room, and two double rooms. The rooms were very clean, and the panoramic room was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend anyone with the budget to book the panoramic room directly! You won't even want to leave your room… The front desk staff were all very friendly, especially customer service agent 04. We'd always ask her for directions before heading out, and she was always happy to help us find our way 😊 We stayed for three days and two nights, and when we checked out, they even gave us local Chongqing souvenirs as a gift, thank you 🙏. This hotel is in a great location for a trip to Chongqing with elders and children, highly recommended!"

AAndatino looI had an excellent stay at this hotel. The floors were spotless and not sticky at all, which made the environment feel very clean and comfortable. The staff were responsible and responded quickly whenever I needed assistance. I also appreciated that they contacted me a day before check-in to confirm details and shared the location map with pictures —very professional and reassuring.
The location is convenient for visiting tourist attractions, and the price is quite reasonable.
Tip for visitors: WeChat is the main communication tool in China, so I strongly recommend activating your WeChat account before arriving. It will make communication and even payments much easier.

1110073****This was my sixth visit to Chongqing, and each time I try to experience a different type of hotel. This time, I chose to stay at the Regent Chongqing, primarily to enjoy their club benefits. My entire stay was nothing short of perfect, deserving a full five-star rating. The hotel's thoughtful service and the excellent experience at the Executive Lounge were particularly impressive and made me feel incredibly comfortable. The hotel is located in the riverside district, within walking distance of the IFC shopping mall, the Grand Theatre, and the riverside promenade. Even destinations like Jiefangbei and Guanyinqiao are just a 10-minute drive away.
The service was exceptionally professional and warm. From the moment I arrived, staff members proactively approached to help with luggage, guided me through the check-in process with constant smiles, and meticulously explained the hotel's facilities and services, addressing me by name with precision and warmth. During my stay, requests were handled with remarkable speed; when I called the front desk for extra towels and a bathtub liner, they were delivered to my room within minutes, with a gentle and polite demeanor. When leaving for a taxi, staff would spontaneously ask if I needed assistance and even helped adjust the front seats of the car after I got in – these thoughtful details truly highlighted the quality of service. Check-out was efficient and seamless; staff proactively inquired about my stay and even prepared a small farewell gift. The entire process was smooth, without any waiting, making the whole trip incredibly pleasant and hassle-free. The only minor point regarding service was a lady standing by the elevators who seemed out of place compared to all other staff. I was never sure what her role was; she always had a rather aloof expression. Occasionally, she would specifically press the elevator button for one or two people, but not for everyone. In any case, I never saw her press the elevator for me or greet me during my numerous trips up and down.
The Executive Lounge was an unexpected highlight of this stay. The space was quiet and elegant, with a simple yet grand design. Though not very large, it exuded luxury. The lounge offered exquisite meals for four periods outside of breakfast. For afternoon tea, given it was close to Christmas, the snack boxes were adorned with Christmas decorations, creating a wonderful festive atmosphere. The evening cocktail hour was also à la carte, with a self-service bar for drinks. The unagi rice and chicken skewers were particularly noteworthy. The lounge service was equally attentive and thoughtful; staff would promptly replenish food and drinks, clear tables, and proactively ask if I needed anything, even thoughtfully providing a phone stand for us. They spoke softly throughout, making it a perfect choice whether you're relaxing alone or gathering with friends. Additionally, the breakfast spread was rich and varied, with hot dishes, cold cuts, desserts, and freshly squeezed juices all available, and the taste was consistently good.
Overall, the stay exceeded my expectations. The excellent service and outstanding Executive Lounge experience added an extra layer of enjoyment to my Chongqing trip. I highly recommend it to everyone and will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Chongqing!

My accommodation experience for this trip was absolutely fantastic, so I definitely have to give this hotel a five-star review! The location is a huge plus – it's just a few minutes' walk to the commercial area and all the sights. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. When it was raining outside, the hotel even had umbrellas available for guests to borrow, which was a really nice touch. Overall, everything was excellent.

Love Sunyata Ren-ai’s modern architecture and interior designed around its history. The rooms are thoughtfully appointed yet highly functional - a rarity for heritage hotels. For instance, the standalone mid-century wood wardrobe reminds you of what a priest would have in his room yet it opens up with plenty of storage and is lit internally. There are no awkward corners on the property, and space is strategically used and designed with a gorgeous mix of textures and colours.
Extremely hospitable service - hotel staff are wonderfully helpful and reach out ahead of your stay to follow up on details. That was how they found out my luggage had burst from a faulty zip and way too many books - immediately arranged for additional person to be on standby with a box for the books. During the stay, they worried about whether i needed extra binding for the luggage and then also had 3 colleagues on standby on checkout to help me bring my stuff out (xiaofan, ningning and xiaogan) who waited by the street with me to see me off. Honestly they were more worried than i was! And this is the pinnacle of hospitality where hotel takes greater ownership on addressing and pre-empting your concerns.
Room inclusions are great:
1. Breakfast is set in a beautiful restaurant in a stone basement. Selection is small but competently executed. The noodles are perfectly seasoned, fruits are fresh, coffee strong.
2. Afternoon tea - i had thought they would casually bring out the usual scones and sandwiches the kitchen was going to make on the fly, but it came instead with a choice of coffee and their desserts on display for sale. This means you get an intricate dessert - for free!
3. Supper - given my work and flight itinerary, i ordered in their complimentary supper, delivered at 9pm. again, not a matter of leftovers. They brought in beautifully plated 4 dishes for both nights, balanced in terms of staples, taste, texture, which is sufficient to satiate you without overfilling you for the night’s rest.
4. Photography - we all know the prowess of Chinese photography. i was apprehensive as i’m usually behind the camera and i wasn’t dressed for the occasion nor had professional makeup - the 3 weeks of non-stop work commitments showed! However, the energy and kindness of the photographers made the session really enjoyable, and not to mention the hotel provided an unmatched background for phototaking. They also edited the photos within an hour for you to choose from - you get the first 5 free, but you’d be tempted (AND PLS DO) to choose more.
In terms of location, this is a destination hotel, blending beautifully in Mountain City Alley, with all the modern creature comforts. You wake up in the morning to empty walkways, interrupted only by birds and curious cats. The street livens up to little shops selling trinkets, vintage pieces, coffee (many of them), clothes and snacks. In the evenings, the light warms to an orange hue and you watch the sunset over the city in the quiet of your room. Mountain City Alley is not (yet)as commercialised as other ancient towns (each selling the same suite of souvenirs and mala soup base) and each shop had its own personality. Hotel is perched near the peak of the mountain city alley. if travelling by car, you’d need to drop off at Jiashi Old Folks’ Home and take the stairs (5min) down to the hotel which has a discreet corridor next to the church. Hence those with mobility issues - consider yourself warned.

MM2hn8wn7j****Hotel itself is located in a superb location. It is in the heart of everything and we also spent our countdown to 2026 in Moxy hotel.
It has this wonderful and beautiful rotating bar at the highest level, and welcome drinks are served there.
We needed this room outside of its usual operating hour due to our red eye flight, and Lan Jian at the front reception desk was the most helpful and gave us the most wonderful assistance we needed. Thanks a million to him. Moxy hotel is very lucky to have him. Will recommend this hotel to our friends and family 👍👍

MM486811****This hotel truly excels in both service and facilities. Check-in at the front desk was quick and efficient. The smart control system, high-quality bedding, and spacious bathroom in the room provided exceptional comfort. The service was a real highlight: the staff were consistently warm and proactive, offering prompt and thoughtful responses to requests, whether it was restaurant recommendations or other needs. It put a perfect and pleasant end to a wonderful stay.

SShironamiThanks for the wonderful five-day stay! I had such a comfortable and restful time. Every evening, the hotel would bring us various traditional sweet soups they brewed themselves, which was a lovely touch. Getting around was super convenient too; we just called for the shuttle service and they responded very quickly. I also tried the singing bowl healing session, which was a truly relaxing and peaceful experience. I loved waking up each morning, drawing the curtains, and being greeted by the healing view of the mountains and wild nature.
The third floor was relatively quiet, and we weren't disturbed by people soaking in the wild springs by the river, so privacy was well-protected.
Booking the complimentary travel photography service was quick and easy as well, and some of the fixed shooting spots produced really great photos.

ZZouyuzhouThe location is absolutely fantastic, right between Hongyadong and Jiefangbei! It's simply amazing 🌟. As soon as you step out, you're greeted with breathtaking river views 😭😭😭. The room comes with two bottles of water, standard. The front desk service was also great, offering two types of tea bags: green tea and black tea, which was a nice touch. Chongqing hotpot is seriously delicious 🤤. I've already recommended this place to my friends and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chongqing!

KKkkkkkk24The Le Méridien by R&F truly offers incredible value for money. It's located in the heart of the central business district, within walking distance of the subway station, and right next to Wanda Plaza, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The lobby, with its red and black color scheme and artistic decor, is grand and picturesque. The guest rooms are spacious with high ceilings. You can often snag a large room for just over 400 RMB, and during peak season, they frequently have surprising packages, with consecutive stays even including dining vouchers and experience benefits. The room was clean and tidy, with excellent soundproofing. The double vanity design was super practical, and the bedding was so soft it made you want to just stay in bed. The facilities are comprehensive, with a heated swimming pool at a comfortable temperature and a well-equipped gym. The free parking also alleviated any travel concerns. The biggest surprise was the dining; the 99 RMB Chinese buffet offered dozens of dishes like spicy rabbit and crispy shrimp. The seafood was fresh, and the desserts were outstanding, completely exceeding expectations. The location is superb, with the subway entrance practically at your doorstep, making it easy to get to attractions and shopping areas. The service is warm but not intrusive. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!
