GGuest UserWe stayed in a proper two-bedroom, one-living-room suite with a single bathroom, a kitchen, a balcony, a washing machine, and a refrigerator – all very well-equipped. The decor was exquisitely done, almost on par with a five-star hotel. The key difference, and what made it perfect for us with older kids, was having two separate rooms and two large beds, something five-star hotels often lack. For us, the hotel's pool and gym weren't important, and a buffet breakfast in Chongqing is entirely unnecessary. This is why a serviced apartment like this offers much better value for money than a standard hotel. The location of this apartment was also excellent, with many attractions within walking distance. The concierge service was incredibly attentive, providing clear and detailed directions, equipment instructions, and check-out procedures. We were very satisfied with our stay.

From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the bellboy immediately took my luggage – I didn't have to lift a finger the entire time. The front desk staff were efficient and incredibly kind during check-in, even offering thoughtful recommendations for local authentic eateries, saving me the hassle of planning. The room was super spacious with breathtaking river views; the dazzling lights of Hongyadong at night were simply stunning. The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, providing instant relaxation.
All drinks in the minibar were complimentary and restocked daily. The Chongqing-specific snacks and custom bottled water were a lovely touch. High-end amenities like a Dyson hairdryer and daily face masks really elevated the sense of refinement. The dining experience at the hotel was also exceptional. Breakfast offered a vast array of choices, with authentic Chongqing noodles made to order and tasting truly original. Serving until 10:30 AM was a blessing for those of us who struggle to wake up early.
The Chinese restaurant's dishes were exquisite and delicious. The chef even meticulously explained the ingredients and cooking methods – every bite was a delight. The executive lounge service was also incredibly attentive, always ready to assist, showing thoughtfulness in every detail. All staff members I encountered were exceptionally professional, whether at the front desk, house-keeping, or in the restaurant. Communication was prompt and patient, and any requests were quickly addressed. That feeling of being completely looked after, truly made me feel at home.
This stay was absolutely perfect. I couldn't find a single fault, from the hardware facilities to the soft services. Because of this hotel, I've grown to love Chongqing even more! Next time I visit Chongqing, I will definitely choose Regent again. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a high-quality experience!👍

It's also very close to attractions like Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street and Hongyadong, about a 10-minute walk away. The service attitude was particularly good; they even recommended local hotpot places that were absolutely delicious.

AAnonymous Userlovely hostel with a nice cafe nearby (1 coffee is offered as part of the stay). the hostel also has a common room with a small kitchen and a rooftop terrace. it’s super central and the lady running it is super sweet. there is free tea and the owner bakes 4 kinds of bread that you can toast for breakfast. she also made a booklet with restaurant and sightseeing tips.
i had a very good time there, thank you again! :)

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's rooftop is like a 'cloud's eye,' and the tatami room was incredibly comfortable, clean, and hygienic. The views were spectacular, a true river-view room with a massive floor-to-ceiling window looking out onto beautiful landscapes. We even got to admire the full moon on the Lantern Festival, which was an unexpected and unique surprise! Jiefangbei is right near the hotel, making travel super convenient, and there's a subway station downstairs with plenty of great food nearby. A very successful stay!

CcocoThe hotel's location is excellent, not far from Bayi Delicious Street and Jiefangbei, and Shenxiankou is right next door. The hotel's decor is also very new, and the facilities are complete, including radiators, which is super convenient. The washer-dryer combo is also a plus. There's also an induction cooker and a large refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable. In short, I stayed for four nights and was very satisfied. The service attitude was also great. Everything was perfect, please keep it up. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

SShironamiThanks for the wonderful five-day stay! I had such a comfortable and restful time. Every evening, the hotel would bring us various traditional sweet soups they brewed themselves, which was a lovely touch. Getting around was super convenient too; we just called for the shuttle service and they responded very quickly. I also tried the singing bowl healing session, which was a truly relaxing and peaceful experience. I loved waking up each morning, drawing the curtains, and being greeted by the healing view of the mountains and wild nature.
The third floor was relatively quiet, and we weren't disturbed by people soaking in the wild springs by the river, so privacy was well-protected.
Booking the complimentary travel photography service was quick and easy as well, and some of the fixed shooting spots produced really great photos.

GGuest UserThis hotel offers incredible value for money. The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of everything. I read in a guide that first-time visitors to Chongqing should stay near Jiefangbei, and it's true – all the main attractions are super close. From the hotel, you can overlook Jiefangbei Square, and at night, the neon lights are a spectacular display of urban prosperity. Right outside, there are three long queues for popular网红 (wanghong/influencer-famous) shops, so you can grab a Tea Yen Hue Se (Chayan Yuese) every day. The room itself is pretty standard, and the sink being inside the room means getting ready can disturb your roommate. I was told breakfast was basic, but it actually exceeded my expectations; they had milk, bread, porridge, noodles, fruit, and yogurt. Plus, the panoramic view from the 29th floor made breakfast a truly pleasant experience.

Although there was a fee for the decorations, the result was quite good, and the total cost (decoration + room rate) was still very reasonable. It definitely stands out among hotels in the same price range! For a hotel that's been open for over a decade, it's very well-maintained with no significant damage. The red piano in the lobby, combined with the pleasant aroma, creates a stylish atmosphere. The North Latitude 29 Lobby Bar is a great place to relax. The in-room high-speed internet was stable, perfect for getting work done, and the shower experience was excellent. However, the welcome fruit was a bit simple, and some minor details showed wear (like peeling trim on the sink). Overall, it offers good value for money and is worth trying.
