10/10!! This hotel is located right at the heart of Jiefangbei, making it super convenient to access the various attractions/tourist spots (they’re all quite nearby via taxi). Lots of food just around the area and shopping too! The room itself is huge and the staff were so kind to give us a free upgrade. There’s so much space to open our luggage and lounge around. The toilet is also very clean and spacious. Not to mention the gorgeous view since the hotel is on the 46th floor - you can enjoy the beautiful night view of Chongqing from the room! Overall a very enjoyable stay! Highly recommend!!

After experiencing the excitement of the city and the Internet celebrity feeling in Chongqing, I happened to search for Pucun! Very close to the city and the airport, Pucun made me feel why Chongqing is called a mountain city. It is really a good place to relax after the hustle and bustle! It was such a surprise. Although it was only two days and one night, the boss's design aesthetic and the B&B experience on the terraced slopes allowed us to experience many different beautiful scenery. The room is simple and has good facilities and equipment. The Dyson hair dryer is very comfortable. I like it very much. It is warm and high-end! Experience the chirping of the robin during the day, and fall asleep to the sound of frogs at night, as well as the bamboo forest among the pines. It just happened to rain in Chongqing. The clouds and mist in the mountains in the morning and the new rain in the empty mountains were very healing. Chongqing is really charming! Chongqing has 3D and is also a mountain city! The ingredients picked in Pucun are hard to come by. The plums just came out recently, so sweet! The butler was attentive and accompanying me throughout the whole process, very considerate! I like Pucun very much and will come to Pucun next time!

Excellent hotel. Staff are very helpful, location is central and easy access to food, metro while being quiet on the 20th floor. No issues with cigarette smoke in the rooms. They do your laundry for you, limited to 5 free pieces a day. One suggestion would be to make it 5x the number of nights you’re staying as I can understand they can’t be doing weeks of laundry but it’s also annoying to bring it everyday. But they accommodated me with my 17 pieces on the first day without issues which I appreciate. The elevators are quite full with only 3 operating for 25+ floors and the building isn’t fancy but I appreciate the quiet and location. Would highly recommend.

The international brand helmed by Ascott never fails to deliver. It was a pleasant experience staying with Somerset. Fully equipped service apartment, conveniently located in the heart of Yuzhong district, overlooking the Yangtze river but without the hustle and bustle that accompanies with the popular attractions such as Hongya dong and Jiefangbei. I had no issues during my stay with Somerset and their staffs are very professional and customer oriented regardless you are a staying guest or simply enquiring (witnessed first hand)

Great location. You can't see hotel signage from far or near. The entrance inside commercial building next to Ole Supermarket. Level 25 is check in counter located Techsavy room automatic curtains room cleanliness: excellent room amenities :.good slippers,.toothbrush kit, stylo hair dryer, got hand soup / bath gel, shampoo dispenser bathroom: lights are bright (good for makeup)/ enjoyed hot shower water pressures good bed mattress:. super comfortable never had such good sleep at this room rate paid weakness: one thing I dislike need to wait a while for guest lift as is located inside commercial building so heavy traffic. thank you to owner 汪洺仰 for his hospitality service and food n malls recommendations.

This hotel is really highly recommended! ! ! ! First of all 1️⃣ Cost-effectiveness is nothing to say. Comprehensive location, environment, service and price. The normal superior king-size bed room is more than 200 per person. It is really cost-effective! 2️⃣ Location is located on the north bank of the ancient Chongqing River. It is not far from various popular attractions by taxi. 3️⃣ Room environment is decorated in a four-star or five-star hotel. There are four kinds of pillows and environmental protection cards in the bedside drawer. The bathroom has a separate shower room and bathtub. The two bathrobes are hung in the closet and changed every day. The slippers are of good quality and are also changed every day. There are not many drinks in the minibar, but there are and they are updated every day. The cleaning is also good. All the rolls are full and new, and they are folded in shape. 4️⃣ Details! This is the best point. The four corners of each cabinet in the room are all covered with soft sponges! I'm afraid that customers might bump into something. The details are great. There are two disinfectant wipes next to the toilet in the bathroom, one of which is a 75% alcohol cotton pad. Good reviews. There are also two disinfectant cotton pads on the minibar with a disinfected sign. There is also a charger at the bedside! Very practical. The charger is also placed in the hotel's own storage bag, which is very eye-catching. The same goes for the hair dryer in the bathroom (because many hotels often put hair dryers in places that are hard to find). There are also free power banks and mineral water for customers next to the elevator entrance on each floor, which is also very practical! Good reviews. This is the most important point because now many hotels have good environment but the service is not up to par. First of all, the doorman of this hotel will come to help open the door and take the luggage (of course, these are the most basic, but now many hotels charging one or two thousand yuan do not do it). The check-in ladies at the front desk are also very nice. We arrived a few hours before check-in. The front desk lady was still very nice and helped us check the vacant rooms. She found one and helped us check in in advance. Then she called us on the night of check-in to ask if we were satisfied with the service and if there was anything special in the hotel room. This phone inquiry is very good and it is also not done by many hotels now. At least you can feel that the hotel cares about the feelings of customers. 6️⃣ Luggage delivery Another very convenient thing is that the hotel has a luggage delivery service, which can deliver your luggage to the airport or the high-speed railway station according to the time requirement. The service is very good. For those like us who have to play on the last day, it is really convenient to help send the luggage to the airport in advance! When we pulled up to a Mengka Holiday Inn, covered in a dusting of fresh, crisp snow, my partner and I exchanged excited glances. Coming into the lobby, we were greeted with a warm, friendly smile and an easy check-in experience - something that can be difficult to obtain as a foreigner in China these days. Climbing up the spiral staircase to our room, we felt as though we had struck gold. Wow! We opened the door, before walking into a beautiful, tastefully decorated room with a huge bathtub! The pictures on trip do the room no justice (nor do mine)! The location was a little difficult if you have no car but the gentleman on the desk kindly offered us a ride to the nearest bar, excellent! It was when we returned that problems began to arise. We had noticed that the toilet didn’t flush earlier, but this didn’t seem a massive problem. However, we now realised that both the shower and the bath had no hot water. Suddenly, the lights went out. The electricity had gone down. This meant that we had no heating and no hot water in -3 temperatures. It took until around 2am for the electricity to be restored but the heater was inadequate for the room size. The electricity flashed on and off again in the morning. We left for another hotel the next morning after a restless, cold night. Without these issues, I would consider this hotel to be an utter gem. The staff are kind and accommodating and the amount of windows in the room means that a lot of natural lights gets in, including the sunrise - through the window by the bath. Perhaps during summertime these problem are less common, and there were enough positives to warrant a return, but if you do book, make sure to check if there is hot water and that the electricity is working because if not, it’s just not worth it.

One of the best stays in China as a foreign traveller! The hotel and its facilities are excellent, clean and well furnished with every detail taken care of. The surrounding views of the mountains and rivers are stunning and the hotel is ideally situated just out of the city in the mountains. Our room included a outdoor natural hot spring as well as pool overlooking the river. The bathroom also had a hot spring/bath inside. The hot springs are some of the best we have been to and were included in the stay along with breakfast and a private morning yoga session. Steve and the team were incredible and looked after us during the entire stay - he assisted us with our booking, check-in, dinner and spa reservations as well as assisting us with anything else we needed, all in English. There were also English copies of the menus in the restaurant and translations throughout the hotel and stay which was a massive help, especially being foreign guests at the hotel. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel which were both great. The breakfast consisted of local Chinese (The Chongqing Noodles are an absolute must) as well as international options. For dinner, we asked Steve to recommend traditional, local dishes and he took care of the rest. The Duck, Salted Goose and Lotus root were our top picks from this. There is of course a very wide selection of international dishes to choose from as well. The hotel is the perfect blend between modern 5 star luxury and a traditional, nature stay. We highly recommend Bolian to anyone looking for the perfect escape from the city. We will certainly be back!

The hotel was good and affordable! The location was so convenient as it’s near all the famous places. Just one thing needs to be adjust which is the safety lock at the room, there is no safety lock in the room such as double locker. As I realised there were a lot of people like who doesn’t live at the hotel can also enter. The only thing I’m concerned about will be the safety issues. I will definitely book this hotel again if I’m coming back to chongqing!!

Fantastic. We had a queen room with a terrace overlooking a branch-off street of the main walking street. Not the main thoroughfare, but still had regular foot traffic during 2023 Mid Autumn Festival. The room's balcony had a great view of the street and the Ciqikou cityscape behind it. Appreciated the detail of the old-style constructed buildings and architecture of the area. Food galore, there was no end to the variety of food, snacks, restaurants and tea shops all within walking distance. From the Ciqikou subway, it takes about 12 minutes of walking to make one's way up to the hotel however there is a very convenient escalator taking one up the part with the longest steepest incline. At night it was quiet and the beds extremely comfortable. The bathroom had a big deep bath, perfect for soaking in after a long day of pounding the pavements. The decor and lighting were simple, stylish and understated, the cleanliness was perfect, the staff friendly and helpful, and the outdoor infinity pool perfect for sun lounging (when there is sun). Great view down from the hill/mountainside from the pool side. The breakfast buffet is very satisfying and affordable with local Chinese fare, and some Western options too. Sail Hotel is charming and well laid out, allowing the place to be fully booked and yet not feel crowded. It's a hidden treasure and should we be in the vicinity in the future, we'd definitely stay here again.
