HHASKKI checked into the Regent Chongqing on Christmas Eve and experienced the festive romance brought by what I consider the pinnacle of Chongqing hotels.
🏨 Hotel Environment:
My stay at the Regent coincided with Christmas Eve, and the hotel was absolutely brimming with Christmas cheer, much livelier than my previous non-holiday visits. They had set up numerous Christmas trees, with the large ones in the lobby and various restaurants being particularly beautiful and photo-worthy. During dinner, there were even interactions with LinaBell and Santa Claus, creating a truly festive atmosphere.
Inside the room, a delicate Christmas cake and a greeting card were prepared. The next morning, I found a Christmas stocking filled with candies and cookies hanging on my door – the hotel truly put in a lot of thought with these small Christmas surprises.

I stayed in a Luxury River View King Room. Although the hotel has been open for quite some years, the room facilities are still well-maintained. The separate double vanity, river view bathtub, 2-meter king bed, full set of Le Labo toiletries, and Dyson hairdryer all made for a great experience. The river view was quite expansive; downstairs was Jiangbeizui Diamond Square, directly opposite was Yuzhong District, and from a side angle, I could glimpse Hongyadong, though it was quite a distance away.
🌟 Highlights:
Beyond the hotel environment, the Regent's service is largely the best in Chongqing. The day before check-in, the butler proactively called to inquire about my arrival time and needs. During check-in, they provided a detailed introduction to the hotel and its benefits (even though I booked through Ctrip, they recognized my IHG Diamond status and offered a member gift, a Le Labo lotion, though room upgrades and lounge access were not included). Since I was traveling with a child, the hotel also prepared a full set of children's toiletries in advance, which was very thoughtful. Additionally, the hotel offers services like 3 pieces of free laundry per person per day, a choice of bubble, petal, or lemon baths, complimentary mini-bar on the first day, and a butler closet, making for an extremely comfortable stay.
This stay also included two complimentary drinks vouchers for the Two Rivers Bar, which could be redeemed for cocktails, beer, soft drinks, etc., allowing me to experience the Christmas ambiance of the bar.
The hotel's dining options are also excellent. Breakfast is rich and delicious, especially the noodle station, which offers a variety of choices like Chongqing noodles and laksa. Robbins Grill on the 2nd floor is also considered one of Chongqing's top steakhouses, and the Two Rivers Bar on the 7th floor is a great spot for a relaxed drink. All in all, the hotel can cater to various dining needs during your stay.
🌉 Hotel Location and Transportation:
The hotel is located in the Jiangbeizui area of Chongqing, on the banks of the Jialing River, close to Qiansimen Bridge. It's separated from tourist attractions like Jiefangbei and Hongyadong in Yuzhong District by just one river, boasting a superior geographical location. It's a 30-minute drive to the airport and a 15-minute drive to Jiefangbei without traffic. Nearby, you can access Metro Line 6 and Line 5. You can also walk across Qiansimen Bridge to Hongyadong, making transportation very convenient.

GGuest UserMalaysian friends, you HAVE to check this place out! 🥳🥳 My friend highly recommended it after their stay, so I decided to give it a try too, and the entire experience was fantastic! 👍🏼 A big thank you to the front desk staff for taking such good care of us during our stay; their service was so thoughtful, it truly felt like coming home ☺️. We visited during winter, and all rooms use central air conditioning for heating. However, as Malaysians, it's really hard for us to sleep without air conditioning or a fan 🥲. Luckily, the hotel provided us with an electric fan, which allowed us to sleep comfortably and cool 🥰. I loved the beds and pillows in the room – they were just right, not too hard and not too soft! 💯 The bathroom also has a wet/dry separation and a smart toilet 🚽, which is a huge plus for Malaysians! 🤩 If you like ordering takeout back at the hotel, there’s even a special box in the room for takeout trash! 😍 We usually put our takeout waste in the box and place it outside the room 😗. The next day, the cleaning staff would take care of it for us 🥰. This concept is brilliant! It keeps the room tidy and clean while preventing odors and insects, etc. 😄 I have to give it a huge thumbs up! 👍🏼 The hotel also offers many other thoughtful services (self-service laundry + dryer, gym, free luggage storage 🧳, parcel collection 📦, etc.). If you love local delicacies, there are plenty of food stalls downstairs (guoba potatoes, sweet soup, BBQ, Chongqing noodles, fruit shops, fried noodles, fried rice, etc.). If you're looking for a hotel that is: - Clean and tidy - Has spacious rooms - Is conveniently located for various attractions (Hongyadong, Shibatang, Yangtze River Cableway, Luohan Temple, Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, etc.) - Has many snacks, noodle shops, and convenience stores downstairs Then this hotel should be your top choice! 👍🏼 That's all for my review. I'll definitely be staying here again next time! 🥰🥰

11100024681The room was spacious with ceilings estimated to be over 3 meters high, making for a very comfortable stay. It was fully equipped with a washing machine, refrigerator, microwave, induction cooktop, and dishwasher, truly making it suitable for even a ten-day or longer stay.
Thanks to a Ctrip discount, the hotel even upgraded us for free to a twin-bed scenic room. At first, I thought it would be two single beds, but it turned out to be two large beds! The night view from the large curved window on the 25th floor was absolutely stunning!
The hotel's location is also excellent, just a 6-7 minute walk from Jiefangbei, making transportation very convenient. It truly is a hidden gem, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Pavilions and terraces are scattered tastefully amidst lush trees, creating a picturesque scene of mountains and water. The private hot spring in the room is clean and hygienic, and Owen provided very attentive service. My stay was excellent. I'll definitely come back again! The private hot spring in the room truly exceeded my expectations; the water was refreshed daily, making it very clean and private. The only area for improvement would be to address the traffic congestion for vehicles entering and exiting during peak hours.

There's a foot massage place on the 6th floor, perfect for relaxing after a long day. When I checked in, Xiao Zhou gave me a drink voucher for the rooftop, saying I could go up, enjoy a drink, sit down, and experience the revolving restaurant with its views of the city below.

It's also really easy to get to other attractions from here, basically in the center of everything. Great value for money! It's just over a 10-minute walk to Jiefangbei, and the front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. The first picture is the view from the hotel window.

The hotel boasts convenient transportation, perfectly avoiding the traffic restrictions of the bustling downtown area. The room itself is very spacious, and the washer/dryer combo along with the kitchen facilities are excellent. The breakfast is quite varied. I would definitely recommend this to friends.

It's located in the heart of the central business district, within walking distance of the subway station, and right next to Wanda Plaza, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The lobby, with its red and black color scheme and artistic decor, is grand and picturesque. The guest rooms are spacious with high ceilings. You can often snag a large room for just over 400 RMB, and during peak season, they frequently have surprising packages, with consecutive stays even including dining vouchers and experience benefits. The room was clean and tidy, with excellent soundproofing. The double vanity design was super practical, and the bedding was so soft it made you want to just stay in bed. The facilities are comprehensive, with a heated swimming pool at a comfortable temperature and a well-equipped gym. The free parking also alleviated any travel concerns. The biggest surprise was the dining; the 99 RMB Chinese buffet offered dozens of dishes like spicy rabbit and crispy shrimp. The seafood was fresh, and the desserts were outstanding, completely exceeding expectations. The location is superb, with the subway entrance practically at your doorstep, making it easy to get to attractions and shopping areas. The service is warm but not intrusive. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!
