Enjoyed our stay here. A lot of amenities - fitness club, indoor and outdoor pools, spa, wine tasting, beer tasting, etc. the room we took was for 3 with 2 queens and it was spacious. Breakfast has a good spread with live counter for eggs. Lunch is ok in comparison. Service we received for this booking was pleasant. Location is perfect with all the important attractions nearby and in the night the entire neighborhood is alive with things to do and food to eat.

We researched the package deal and called the hotel directly to book because we had some questions about it. I tried calling the hotel for hours without them answering. So I called the restaurants directly. Skylon answered snd told me the deal is specific. Either salad or French onion soup to start with fresh bread, butter, striploin, chicken, pasta, prime rib, desert was black forest cake or mocha pudding. Plus tea or coffee. Btw no raw or brown sugar available. CoCos steak house never answered their phone after several calls over several hours. In the package it includes one meal at the Skylon one meal at COCOs Steak House. I assumed the dinner would be comparable and the breakfast would be decent. Was I in for a wake up call. Upon checking in which is slow and guests are very frustrated with the speed and etiquette mannerisms they receive at this hotel. In 3 days I never heard ; hello, welcome, thanks for staying, good morning, how was your stay, have a good day, good afternoon, etc. Upon entering our room it was modern, wood floors, wallpaper that was peeling on every wall, sliding door that barely worked, probably from 1970s. TV was small, remote was old and didn't work well. The towels were not in the room, no wash clothes etc. I called the front desk but had to go myself to get them. The bath mat never came. The bottom of the tub is extremely slippery, dangerously. The bed however was extremely comfortable and the linens high quality and spotless clean. The pillows were great as well. The rest of the room was clean with no complaints. Although I requested a higher floor, we received a ground floor, so no balcony or outside furniture to relax. Also for security reasons I prefer upper floors. Dinner at Skylon was great. The views, the food, and service were all excellent, although my meat was slightly overcooked it wasn't worth mentioning to the server. Dinner the following night at COCOs steak house was the complete opposite. The dinner selection was quite limited. Choice of one entrée, no appetizer, no desert. ! You had the choice of personal size pizza, chicken, prime rib, pasta. Although I had rare prime rib the night before, I ordered it again. They included choice of potato and veggies. I had baked potato. They don't have the loaded option although they have butter, sour cream, and bacon. Dinner arrived and was a sad story. Although I asked for rare, it was obviously cooked days earlier and reheated to well done. The portion was small, meat was extremely chewy, and no flavor at all. Served on a small diner plate with sour cream in a plastic cup. Definitely not worth $140 that was the price difference per night for the upgrade for the meal package. Breakfast at COCOs was sad too. It was limited to tea, or coffee, no option for juice, pancakes, or waffles Two eggs, bacon or sausage with toast but rye wasn't available either day just because it wasn't I was told. Lol. It didn't include hash browns or potato. Sl

The location of this hotel is faultless! Absolutely perfect to be able to see the falls and both Clifton Hill and Victoria Avenue are a short walk away too. As per the other reviews, the hotel rooms are quite dated in terms of the decor and furniture. But our two rooms didn’t have any problems with them. We were on the 6th floor and had a great view of the falls (although the windows could do with a clean!) I would HIGHLY recommend anyone staying here to pre-book breakfast (or a room with breakfast included), because the food is super tasty, filling and the service is great AND you sit over looking the falls too. Why would you leave for breakfast elsewhere when this is your view?!

The Hotel Location is good just opposite to Clifton hill Parking.
Receptionist is good.
For Facilities
- I prefer the Washroom light Switch not include the ventilation fan as the noise too loud
- The coffee machine not clean yet. I still see the previous coffee/tea bag inside the coffee machine

Overall very clean. Staff are friendly. The nespresso in the rooms was a nice touch. Pool and pool area are great. On-site restaurant is good food and great value. Lots of towels available pool side. Only issue was internet speed and the gym could use better equipment. If you are not there for work or a work out there are no issues. It’s also a little further away from the main ***** making it quieter if that is what you are looking for

Very very good service! The staff are kind, it is how they make the difference. I thought it was overpriced, but it’s totally justifiable.
The food is good and fast, we enjoyed very much with the service of Victoria.
The arcade games was fun too! Thanks to Thomas. It made memorable.

I stayed for one night at the falls-view hotel, and came here. The twin room is nice, clean and big enough for two adults and three children. Although you can't see the waterfall view, it's not far away to the waterfall on foot. It is very cost-effective in many hotels around.

Very comfortable and in a good location. It is close to the falls incline railway. It takes less than three minutes to go directly to the waterfall. The price is affordable and includes breakfast. Although the breakfast is average, it is very cost-effective. The staff is polite and friendly.

My wife and I along with a friend stayed for one night at Susan’s Villa in Niagara Falls. We opted to book directly with the owners over the phone, and were greeted warmly by hosts Alice and Jackie upon our arrival. We were shown to our suite and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the Domino suite, with extra bedroom was. We were also very happy with the proximity of the B&B to the falls, about 800 metres. Hosts and accommodations were great, breakfast was as described. Note that Alice and Jackie are new owners, so the website and references to “Susan” aren’t entirely accurate, but the care and warmth shown by Alice and Jackie more than make up for this, as newcomers to running a B&B in one of Canada’s busiest tourist areas.

GGuest UserGood: so cute! Older home with 3 bedrooms. Main floor is unit 1 with a large closet with fridge, it’s own bathroom The hood: Room 1 on the main floor featured a private bath with a tub/shower, shampoo, etc. and more towels than I’ve ever seen for 2 people. Queen sized bed, 2 nightstands and lamps, small bistro set and TV. You enter a common area which features a small table and chairs, and a series of slippers and Crocs to give you the hint that taking shoes off is welcomed. There is also a desk with a laptop set up, and wifi. Next is a room set up as a dining room with cups, plates, flatwear, a micro, coffee pot, mini fridge and a formal wood dining table for 6. This is where breakfast was served in the past. They now leave snacks and fruit as well as coffee for the coffee maker, cream in the fridge, and some rather good biscotti when we were there. The owner lives in the house behind, which is attached, but has no internal connection. I understand there are 2 more units upstairs that are large and maybe share a seating area on the landing. The Falls are down the street, maybe 6 blocks or less. The best souvenirs are located in the State Park gift shop next to Victoria’s Restuarant and Tim Horton’s. Ex: small maple syrup in a glass maple leafed shaped bottle $5.98. Elsewhere is was 7.98 and up. The owner has carefully and cheerfully decorated all the parts we saw. With permission, she can show you a washer and dryer in the house. The Red Ganache Bakery down the street is fabulous. I had some dark chocolate cup filled with coconut cream. And there were several gluten free options, including macarons (not macaroons.. a different thing). The rest of the story; Communication, and breakfast. There are listings all over for this property and due to language barriers and being a small operation, not everything is up to date. There is no hot tub. There are bathtubs. There is no beautiful, wonderful country breakfast that comes with your stay. Fruit and biscotti or muffins, coffee, etc. The photos on Tripmasters of the breakfasts and idea of guests gathered around, visiting, was the reason I booked here. The Red Ganache helped me get over it. And.. the phone numbers seem to change a lot. Or maybe they had a land line that went away. And English is not their first language, so be patient. Lastly, most odd and nothing to do with the listing… transportation to and from Pearson Airport is non existent. Oh there’s a bus… $200 for 2 and upwards of 4 hours to get there. We Uber’d for about the same price, and on a weekday around 3, it still took 2 hours to get there. On a weekday around 9 am, the reverse trip was around an hour. Car rental was $500 for an economy car for 3 days, before any gas, taxes or insurance. So, it is Cozy and it offers an alternative to the $300-700 a night hotels. Sorry, my photos were on the way out.
GGuest UserThe newly opened hotel is very tall, the front desk lady is beautiful, the voice is sweet, the room is clean and spacious, the second floor has a terrace, the environment is elegant, the parking lot is large, the front and back yards can be stopped, the breakfast is great, the variety is multi-flavored Well, it is very close to the waterfall. You can walk over. There is a bus at the entrance of the hotel. The transportation is convenient, but it is not noisy. It is very convenient to eat around. It is awesome! By the way, the boss is very good, is Chinese, people are very enthusiastic, handsome and will take pictures, it is said that the photo of the decoration hanging in the hotel is taken by the boss himself, beautiful! Give a 5 star rating
Nice older hotel. We stayed here recently in the family room. There was a nice amount of space in the room, more than in a typical suite. The room was on the 2nd floor. there were a few things that I didn't like but they are are preferences, not major problems. People sat in the parking lot, making parking more difficult in a somewhat tight lot. There were chairs on the walkway to the rooms, which may be nice if you view that walkway as a balcony, but it takes space in the walkway and is a hazard for someone with mobility issues to get around. The staff were very friendly but I didn't like that we had to go to their room/home when we needed them - I feel like I'm troubling them when they are not at the desk and I have to go to their residence. The hotel is in a great location, right accross the street from a couple of restaurants, near bus stops, and if you're up for a long walk, within walking distance of the attractions.
LLorenaclean but the facilities are old, I paid the.hotel.with trip.com and arriving at the hotel they asked me for a deposit of 500 dollars the other day when I went to check out they charged me 12.49 dollars per room according to having used the resort when I knew there was and I never used it since we only used the place to rest
Jjenniferf838336I never really write reviews but this was the worst hotel experience I've ever had!! We checked in yesterday and as soon as I got into the room I noticed the bed spread was absolutely disgusting!! I could tell right away it was never washed and probably for awhile! When I went to complain to the lady at the front, she basically laughed and said that they don't normally wash it because people don't use it! I was confused! I asked what do you mean you don't wash these??!!! She said they only wash the sheets underneath!! I told her that's absolutely disgusting!! She said people don't use it so why should we wash it! I said of course people sleep on this and God knows what else they do on it and you're telling me you don't wash it for the next guest??!! She also said they don't wash the middle red pillow case that's on the bed!! I was in complete shock! She was being rude and said well what do you expect for a 2* motel?! I said I understand this is a 2* but that leaves no right to have the blankets that you have guests sleeping on to be filthy and used multiple times by past guests without cleaning them! I couldn't believe this! I wanted to leave at this point but the room was already paid for so she offered to bring clean linens. I said okay so I decided to take a shower and as I unfolded the towel it had a disgusting spider on it! I almost wrapped my body with that! I also noticed a few big chunks of hair on the bathroom floor so clearly they didn't sweep it! At this point I had enough and didn't even want to touch anything so I gathered all my stuff and went back to the lady. We basically both yelled at each other and I kept telling her they were disgusting and she told me that I was disgusting LOL huh??!! She told me to leave so I did just that!!! Since this booking was done through a 3rd party we never got a refund but I'd rather lose the money than stay at that filthy place with the audacity to not wash their bed linens!!!!
Stayed at glengate 3 nights. Recieved our room and not the room I booked. Booked a room with s heart-shaped tub in the room, recieved a smaller jet tub in the bathroom. I paid more for the heart shaped one In the room. I was told they are all the same and some are in the room and some are in the bathroom. So i let that slide. Then the second day i rushed back to the hotel to watch the football game that started at one pm. The TV didn't work called front desk they sent up two kids and replaced the TV. It was halftime when I finally was able to start watching the game. I was like okay they did put forth the effort and fixed it as fast as they could. The third night we got back from the falls and our key cards didn't work. So we ask to have them fixed and they fixed them and asked us if we wanted another room. I was like no we are leaving first thing in the morning. We'll he didn't mention they were having freaking rave party right below us all night. It started at 9pm and I let it go until 11:15 pm and called the front desk I let the phone ring until 1132 and they finally answered I asked if this was a hotel or a dance club he said we offered u another room and I said well u forgot to mention u were having a party thought u were offering us another room because the keys were bad. He said well nothing we can do now the party ends at12am it's 1215 am right now and it's still going on.I asked for a discount for this night and they denied it. Screw this place liers and scam artist.
AAnonymous UserI am very satisfied. This is my second stay. The boss said to me, welcome home😊😊😊. I saw that the hotel has been renovated, the hygiene and environment are much better than before, and the front desk service has improved a lot. I just forgot to take pictures again. There is a red 601 bus at the door, which is very convenient for visiting Waterfall City. Awesome👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
GgypsyurchinCheck in was good, all as requested, great price, convenient location, good TV with dozens of channels, wifi worked. Quirky but fine decor (random themed Bedspreads, shower curtain, but amusing) Really cold fridge, clean, no odors, would stay again
The pillows where good beds where good it was warm the only problem was the heaters which don’t work too good but enough to keep it warm enough and based on my previous stay (last minute booking) it was a enjoyable stay with me and my friends. They also charge 20$ for being 1 1/2 hours late checkout
