Environment: It's a genuine cave dwelling. Because it's located in a village, the journey is a bit rustic. The owner called ahead to remind us, which made the experience more enjoyable and allowed us to appreciate the natural beauty. Hygiene: It can't compare to a hotel. Being right outside the door, it's dusty and there are bound to be some insects. Those with a strong aversion to dirt should be cautious and avoid this option. Facilities: The owner has done a great job. Everything you need is there, showing care and attention: smart controls, TV stand adjustment, fresh air system… Service: A big thumbs up to the owner – a man of few words but decisive action, clear thinking, and strong execution. No wasted words, just keeping his word. After seeing so many insincere smiles and empty pleasantries from the service industry on the road, this owner is a breath of fresh air. Excellent hotel and recommended! The room was big enough for 2 of us and very clean. There are several restaurants near by. Although Trip.com shows the breakfast is from 7:00am but the actually it starts from 7:30, which was a bit late considering our schedule of the day. The breakfast restaurant staff was kind enough and we were allowed to start the breakfast from around 7:00 although the selection was limited until 7:30. Overall very good experience!

When I decided to live near the Hukou Waterfall Scenic Area, I was very upset, and I was especially worried about the bad environment of the farmyard. Booking this store is very rushed, and I booked it after seeing the evaluation. Later, I found out that this is a farmyard near the Hukou Waterfall Scenic Area in Shaanxi. I planned to go to Hukou Waterfall in Shanxi, but this place did not disappoint me! It is close to the Hukou Waterfall Visitor Center. It is an unconventional area. There are restaurants and homestays. It is very clean and safe! They have planned parking spaces here. I live in this homestay is a small two-story building with elevators and parking spaces in front of the door. Although it is a farmyard, it is newly renovated, the room is very spacious and bright, the facilities are as modern as the hotel, the bed is very comfortable, and the service staff is very real. There are restaurants around, and I directly ate a Yellow River trout package when I came back. I had a beautiful rest and I was very satisfied!

Very clean and the service is very considerate. Very close to the city center of Yan'an. Stay here every time I come.

The guesthouse is a five-minute walk from the scenic area ticket office. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. The owner was very welcoming and helped us carry our luggage upstairs. The yard can park five or six cars. We ate at the guesthouse; the mother-in-law's cooking was excellent. Breakfast was ten yuan per person, including two vegetable dishes, an egg, a steamed bun, and the highly recommended millet porridge. If possible, they could upgrade the TV to a larger one. For a one-night stay at Ganquan Grand Canyon, Feng Meizi's place offers great value.

Inside the scenic area, it is very lively at night, the room is very quiet and clean! Suitable for taking photos and checking in! The breakfast is also rich. And the price is not high, it is very cost-effective to use the points deduction. It is also very easy to find after getting off the highway, and it is very close. The parking lot is on the underground floor, and you can take the elevator directly upstairs. There are a lot of luggage, and the girl at the front desk came down to pick it up. The service is pretty good! One night in Yan'an, very satisfied!

This year, Hukou Waterfall was the second stop on our trip to China with my parents. After checking reviews online, this place seemed to be the best option around, very distinctive with a typical Northwestern style. The entire complex is quite large; although the surroundings are a bit sparse, the environment is very comfortable. You can take a stroll along the Yellow River in the morning, and there's a bonfire party in the evening. The owner specifically reserved a room near the pool for the kids. However, it was too hot these days to play in the water during the day, and at night, there were so many mosquitoes we ended up with bites all over. Overall, it was still a very good experience.

Very good location, nice fancy hotel. I strongly recommend to book a room on Trip in advance, because the prices are higher, if you book at the reception. Shops and restaurants nearby.

This guesthouse is quite old; you can even hear trains running at night. It's a 5-minute walk from Yan'an Railway Station. There's a bus stop right across the street, making it very convenient to go to scenic spots. There's a street full of delicious food downstairs. It's also very convenient to take the bus anywhere. The guesthouse itself is rather old. As for the bathroom, I really don't know how to describe it.
