Environment: It's a genuine cave dwelling. Because it's located in a village, the journey is a bit rustic. The owner called ahead to remind us, which made the experience more enjoyable and allowed us to appreciate the natural beauty. Hygiene: It can't compare to a hotel. Being right outside the door, it's dusty and there are bound to be some insects. Those with a strong aversion to dirt should be cautious and avoid this option. Facilities: The owner has done a great job. Everything you need is there, showing care and attention: smart controls, TV stand adjustment, fresh air system… Service: A big thumbs up to the owner – a man of few words but decisive action, clear thinking, and strong execution. No wasted words, just keeping his word. After seeing so many insincere smiles and empty pleasantries from the service industry on the road, this owner is a breath of fresh air. Wishing him booming business and all the best!

Excellent hotel and recommended! The room was big enough for 2 of us and very clean. There are several restaurants near by. Although Trip.com shows the breakfast is from 7:00am but the actually it starts from 7:30, which was a bit late considering our schedule of the day. The breakfast restaurant staff was kind enough and we were allowed to start the breakfast from around 7:00 although the selection was limited until 7:30. Overall very good experience!

Seeing that this shop was only 200 meters from the service hall of the Hukou Waterfall Scenic Area in Shaanxi, and had high ratings on Ctrip, I decisively booked and paid. I arrived at 7 pm; it was dark and cold, and unfortunately, my car's right front tire was flat, requiring a spare. Upon arriving at the shop, after getting my room key, I tried asking the owner if there was a car repair shop nearby. To my surprise, the owner was very helpful and contacted a friend who knew how to change tires to come and change mine, letting me go back to my room to rest while she arrived. The room was warm, well-equipped, clean, and hygienic, with a tea table and eight bottles of purified water. The bathroom also had a separate shower and toilet area, which I was very satisfied with. At 8 pm, the person who changed the tire arrived and solved the problem in 10 minutes, putting my mind at ease. I want to express my sincere gratitude to the kind owner; I wish her booming business!

The guesthouse is only about 200 meters from the scenic area entrance. The owner is said to be a scenic area ambassador, so you can get a discount on tickets purchased through him. The food at this guesthouse is delicious, especially their lamb (the owner's mother has been cooking lamb for 41 years! [Thumbs up]). It used to be called ”Lao Dang's Farmhouse Cuisine.” The guesthouse offers both cave-style rooms and standard rooms. Currently, the cave-style rooms don't have air conditioning, but it doesn't seem to matter much, as the temperature difference between day and night is quite significant, and it's not cold at night. The guesthouse has a large courtyard (I really like guesthouses with courtyards), parking is very convenient, and a self-service car wash is available.

Inside the scenic area, it is very lively at night, the room is very quiet and clean! Suitable for taking photos and checking in! The breakfast is also rich. And the price is not high, it is very cost-effective to use the points deduction. It is also very easy to find after getting off the highway, and it is very close. The parking lot is on the underground floor, and you can take the elevator directly upstairs. There are a lot of luggage, and the girl at the front desk came down to pick it up. The service is pretty good! One night in Yan'an, very satisfied!

It is clean and hygienic. It is a ten-minute walk from Pagoda Mountain and five minutes from Qingliang Mountain Scenic Area. There is a bus stop fifty meters from the door to all major attractions, train stations and bus stations.

This year, Hukou Waterfall was the second stop on our trip to China with my parents. After checking reviews online, this place seemed to be the best option around, very distinctive with a typical Northwestern style. The entire complex is quite large; although the surroundings are a bit sparse, the environment is very comfortable. You can take a stroll along the Yellow River in the morning, and there's a bonfire party in the evening. The owner specifically reserved a room near the pool for the kids. However, it was too hot these days to play in the water during the day, and at night, there were so many mosquitoes we ended up with bites all over. Overall, it was still a very good experience.

Very good location, nice fancy hotel. I strongly recommend to book a room on Trip in advance, because the prices are higher, if you book at the reception. Shops and restaurants nearby.

This guesthouse is quite old; you can even hear trains running at night. It's a 5-minute walk from Yan'an Railway Station. There's a bus stop right across the street, making it very convenient to go to scenic spots. There's a street full of delicious food downstairs. It's also very convenient to take the bus anywhere. The guesthouse itself is rather old. As for the bathroom, I really don't know how to describe it.
