Yan'an Hotels with Gym

I booked this hotel because it had a stellar 5.0-star rating, and my stay was absolutely fantastic! The experience was top-notch! The location is super convenient, just a few hundred meters from Wuyue Plaza, making it an easy walk. Exploring Yan'an was a breeze. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and responsive, and the attention to detail made the stay so comfortable. The value for money is outstanding, and the breakfast was especially rich and varied. I highly recommend trying the 'hollow noodles' that were featured in 'A Bite of China' – many other hotels nearby don't offer this for breakfast, only this one does! Staying at Zhiping Hotel (Qingshui Tianhe Branch) is definitely the way to go.

Excellent hotel and recommended! The room was big enough for 2 of us and very clean. There are several restaurants near by. Although Trip.com shows the breakfast is from 7:00am but the actually it starts from 7:30, which was a bit late considering our schedule of the day. The breakfast restaurant staff was kind enough and we were allowed to start the breakfast from around 7:00 although the selection was limited until 7:30. Overall very good experience!

I just stayed at the Vienna International Hotel in Yan'an New District, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! I have to give it a thumbs up! The receptionist was incredibly welcoming, which made me feel good. The check-in process was efficient and attentive, and she even thoughtfully recommended fun places and good restaurants nearby, making me feel instantly at home. The hotel also has a laundry room and a gym, which is great for business trips and vacations. I especially want to praise the mattress in the room! It's supposedly specially developed, and lying on it feels like being gently cradled by a cloud, with a perfect balance of support and softness. Even though I'm a light sleeper, I slept soundly until morning, waking up refreshed and completely free of fatigue! The breakfast the next day was also a pleasant surprise. The restaurant had an elegant ambiance and an unexpectedly wide variety of options. There was Chinese-style hot porridge and steamed buns, Western-style bread and coffee, as well as various fresh fruits, delicate pastries, and even local specialties—everything was prepared with care and tasted amazing. This hotel has a very high-end feel in terms of decor and facilities, exuding sophistication, but the prices are very reasonable, making it excellent value for money! Next time, whether it's for business or leisure, I will definitely choose this Vienna International Hotel again!

This is my second time here. The room is clean, tidy, and well-arranged. It's equipped with a smart assistant, and they even have a robot for room service. The hotel pays attention to requests and called me beforehand to ask if I needed airport pickup. The front desk staff are gentle and thoughtful. Although the hotel's location is a bit out of the way, Yan'an is a small city. As long as you're not going to the New Area, a 10-minute taxi ride will get you anywhere. Getting to Erdao Street also only takes about ten minutes.

I stayed in the first room on the left after exiting the elevator on the fourth floor. The window was by the stairs. There was a slipper under the bed, which suggests they never clean under there. Upstairs, there must be a KTV because I could hear singing until 1 or 2 AM, which disturbed my sleep. Plus, there was a low-frequency noise, probably from some large equipment room near the unit. Parking was also quite tight, though that might have been due to the May Day holiday; I'm not sure what it's usually like. Now for the good points: The bathroom had a three-way split design (separate toilet, shower, and sink areas), and they provided face towels. The bedding was comfortable, and breakfast was plentiful. I'd recommend booking a higher floor to avoid the noise.

Driving all the way from Jiangnan to Northern Shaanxi, I was truly struck by the extreme geographical differences. The cave hotel was definitely the highlight of our trip to Yan'an. It was uniquely charming and spotless, with excellent facilities and wonderfully attentive service. They even upgraded our room based on our specific needs, which was a fantastic bonus. Definitely a five-star experience!

The hotel is huge, and its facilities are excellent; it's probably one of the best in the area in terms of hardware. The cave room is very unique, but the lighting is so dim it really feels like a cave. If the hardware is five-star, then the service is three-star. The service was absolutely terrible, and the hotel's management level was a disaster. We stayed for two days and encountered so many problems that we decisively checked out and moved to another hotel, even though we had originally planned to extend our stay. 1. Because we were watching the 'Return to Yan'an' performance at 7 PM, the front desk, based on the time, booked an 'Embittered Memories' dinner for 5 PM the day before. Later, I called the front desk again to change it to 5:30 PM. When we arrived at the restaurant punctually, the restaurant's front desk couldn't even find our reservation, and the restaurant was completely unprepared. The restaurant staff quickly informed the hotel front desk that due to lack of preparation, all internal hotel guests with reservations were pushed back until after 8 PM. 2. There was a lack of communication or timely information exchange between the restaurant, front desk, and concierge. Given such a major blunder with the dining reservation, I immediately went to the front desk to inquire about the performance reservation I had made the day before for today. From what I overheard from the staff's phone conversation, it seemed they still hadn't made the reservation and were urgently trying to sort it out. 3. The restaurant manager said that because they weren't prepared, they would arrange for the food to be delivered to our room after 8:30 PM. After we returned from the performance, it still hadn't arrived. When I called to inquire, I was told that the reservation hadn't been made again. They then rushed to make it, and it was delivered to our room after 9 PM. 4. Breakfast was an even bigger disaster. The restaurant was quite small, with no usher, and no designated queuing area. The front desk just let people in without any guidance. Everyone had to wait behind guests who hadn't finished eating yet to grab a seat. In the end, we (a family of three) had no choice but to split up and find separate spots to share tables. 5. Not to mention the insufficient supply of coffee, milk, and beverages, the plates were also cleared very slowly. Everyone was doing half a task and then moving on to another. Despite a decent number of staff and not too many tables, it was still chaotic, which again proved the extremely poor training and management. 6. While eating, we saw more and more guests coming down. The front desk informed them there were no seats and to come back in half an hour. A large group of guests left unhappily. However, later guests were seated right away when seats became available. I can only imagine the anger of the large group of guests who waited half an hour only to have to continue waiting. 7. When checking in, we registered our child's information, but the front desk didn't even think to prepare children's toiletries and slippers. When I called the front desk from the room, the robot answered and recorded the request for children's supplies and an extra duvet. Half an hour later, there was still no movement. It was only when I switched to a human operator to complain that they urgently delivered them.

I highly recommend this hidden gem of a hotel! The overall experience was fantastic, and I must give a huge shout-out to Mr. He from the concierge team! From the moment we arrived, Mr. He's warm and attentive service made us feel incredibly welcome. He not only proactively helped us with our heavy luggage but also patiently and thoroughly introduced us to the local transportation and dining options, answering all our questions. Throughout our stay, every time we encountered Mr. He, he always greeted us with a smile, making us feel incredibly comfortable. Whether it was guiding us during check-in or helping us arrange a taxi upon departure, Mr. He demonstrated exceptional professionalism and a genuine commitment to service. It's thanks to outstanding staff members like Mr. He that this trip became even more perfect. I strongly recommend everyone choose the Wanda Jin Yan'an Hotel!

Very satisfactory 3 nights stay at Jinze hotel during our recent visit to Yan’an. Hotel room is clean and spacious, bed is comfortable. Very strategic location at the city centre, walkable to QingLiang Hill and the famous food street. Getting a taxi or DIDI is easy. We enjoyed the breakfast served in the hotel which comes with good variety and mostly local dishes. What impressed me most is the friendly staffs who are always enthusiastic to offer help and travel advice. The hotel in-house restaurants offer delicious food that comes with very reasonable price. Not surprisingly that we had several enjoyable meals at the hotel restaurant. The hotel staff also offered us free souvenirs when we checked out. Appreciate the kind gesture very much 😁. No doubt I would recommend this hotel to anyone who will visit Yan’an.

We chance upon this hotel due to chance of travel plan. Excellent and helpful staff. They assisted us in checking in, even upgraded our room. Location of hotel was ideal, next to the main attraction. For the price we paid, it is inclusive of breakfast. Value for money. There’s also a local street market and some local eateries nearby. We had a yummy handmade local noodle for dinner.
