The breakfast is diverse, with many Shaanxi specialties and snacks. The restaurant manager and room service staff are very enthusiastic. In addition, there are many peacocks in the yard, which can be approached and watched up close. The night view of the hotel has a good lighting effect, but it is a pity that the drone cannot be flown and the beautiful scenery cannot be shared.

Thank you here. In addition, the health of the Chinese restaurant needs to be improved. When I go to eat, there are ”black” dirty things such as cups and dishes, which may be flue dust. The waiters in the Chinese restaurant have a general service attitude, limited ability, relatively weak sense of responsibility, and do not consider the problem deeply. Not active, you also need passengers to come to Zhang Luo by themselves. It's not quite right.

There were a few staff members in the off-season. After being reminded, I saw that the order had been upgraded. I waited for more than half an hour before the room was cleaned. The view is unbeatable, and the Red Street is opposite. The hotel has a shuttle bus for free round-trip transportation.

The location is very good, opposite the Yan'an Revolutionary Hall. In the morning, you can put the car in the hotel and walk there. It takes about a few minutes. The area of the hotel family room is quite large. Although the view is good, the house is not very soundproof. There are always large trucks coming over downstairs and it is very noisy. Recently, the weather in Shaanxi is relatively cool, there is no air conditioning heating, and the windows are a bit ventilated. The toilet is still a bit offensive. When I left, I found a big hole in the quilt.

Enjoyed a very pleasant 4 day trip to visit the historical and revolutionary sites of Yan’an and the trip was made much better thanks to a very comfortable and convenient stay at the Wanda Realm. For anybody who plans to visit the city I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is located just to the south of the old city of Yan’an in the newly built Wanda City area. It is a 15-20 minute taxi ride to the old center (depending on traffic) and it’s relatively easy to call a taxi with a ride hailing app like Didi. It’s also within walking distance of the Red Street 红街 tourism area that has a theatre, cinema, activities, coffee shops and restaurants. The hotel is new and all of the main public areas are clean and well maintained - such as the lobby, hotel rooms, restaurant and gym/pool. The gym contains my favorite Life Fitness gym equipment (a quality brand) and the multi-lane, 25m meter pool is a dream for anyone who likes to swim. It even offers a good view. The hotel breakfast is very good value for money and offers a high quality selection of Western-style food (bread, eggs, bacon, sausages and cereals) as well as very tasty local Chinese food - especially local Yan’an/Shanxi noodles and dumplings. For any foreigners like me, you’ll get a good sense of local taste with good ingredients. The room was very clean and spacious with nice balcony and great view of the lake and Red Street. Service staff was excellent and many staff speak good English. We even received a nice hand written message and welcome fruits. Especially if you travel with children, this is where you should stay in Yan’an. Thank you for making my holiday more enjoyable.

The biggest surprise is that next to Liu Wenxi Art Museum.
