The location of the hotel was good. It's walking distance from the central station and surrounded by many shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and the receptionist even walked me to the lift. However, the layout of the hotel was a little weird as the lift to my room was a small one in a corner next to the carpark entrance. Wasn't a good impression given the amount paid for the stay. The room was small but the decor was pleasing and very comfortable. The toilet was of a good size and the shower was relatively wide. Breakfast provided at the hotel was good.

We are staying at the Intercontinental hotels as our main hotel and have been most impressed. Our stay at the Amstel was so pleasant! The staff was absolutely amazing, every person we encounter was so helpful and kind. It is impossible to single out anyone as each team member was great. We ate at the hotel all of our meals except one and the food and service were perfect. We were so grateful that although the afternoon tea was full they were able to accommodate us in another beautiful location where our view was spectacular. We are in hotels 150 nights a year and our experience at the Amstel was one of the very best. The staff members were such nice quality people. They thanked us for allowing them to provide assistance to us. We were so humbled by the generosity of the hotel staff. While dining everyone pitches in and help one another and whatever we could want was provided immediately. Thank you very much with complete sincerity and gratitude. The management should be commended for encouraging such terrific service. We look forward to our next visit to Amsterdam and staying at the Amstel.

This review is based purely on our own experience. We had an amazing time at this hotel. All the staff were great and friendly. If you needed anything they would get it for you. Felt welcomed from arrival. The room was super clean and had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable it made us realise how uncomfortable ours is back home. The shower was big enough for two 😉. Breakfast was plentiful with a mix of continental and cooked. You also get a choice of different cooked eggs. I personally enjoyed having an omelet with spinach. Enjoyed the social hour every day between 4 and 5 pm. They do have a restaurant too but we ate out. The cocktail bar is nice, didn't hear the music from our room. I would easily recommend this hotel and hope to visit again in the future. Yes there are (at time of writing) Road works outside but we didn't hear any noise coming from them. If you arrive by train, don't waste money on a taxi as its only a short walk from the station. On a side note, if you want to do a canal cruise, I'd recommend doing the open top one. Yes it is a little more expensive but you get longer, see more and can ask questions to the skipper as you go round.

Very unhappy about my stay, on the 1st night an unknown guest of the hotel was issued a keycard to our room without ID and proceeded to enter our room whilst we were asleep. Luckily I had put the security latch in place however if we hadn't of been in the room it would have been a more serious matter. Upon checking out informed I needed to pay a city tax that had already been included in the price that was prepaid before our stay and when informing the staff of this they pushed the matter. I was able to get it refunded however was a 20 minute ordeal that was uncalled for and issued a refund in cash when they requested the payment via card I am extremely unhappy about the stay and won't use the facilities in their chain again!

Set right next to the best part of the city, Leidseplein which is very well connected to all the notable landmarks including walkable distance to both the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum as well as the famous Voldelpark. The hotel has very modern interiors and all the facilities to make ones stay comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious unlike the other European hotels. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful. There are 100's of restaurants serving all types of food and all are within walking distance from the hotel. Getting to Dam Square which is the shopping hub and Amsterdam Central station is just a single tram ride. Overall, the hotel is very clean and comfortable and nothing can beat the convenient location of this hotel.

Great location, near to food places and the canal. The only time it was inconvenient is over the weekends when the close off the roads after 10.30pm till 7am the next morning so taxi or ubers can't drop you off at your hotel lobby, so something to be wary of when checking in or out with huge luggages over the weekend. Nothing to complain about the hotel itself however, will definitely be back!

I was recognized as a Hilton Diamond as soon as I stepped in the door and treated as such throughout our stay, including a complimentary room upgrade. The hotel staff is fantastic: helpful, friendly, and courteous. The room we stayed in (King Deluxe with city view) was clean and comfortable with plenty of space to move around. The breakfast is fantastic! The hotel has an Executive Lounge that is adequate, if not luxuriant. Like most Hilton Lounges these days, it features the basics and a few American hot snacks in the evening (ah, for the old days in European Hiltons). It’s nice to have, though, when so many are disappearing entirely. Parking is easy, if a bit pricey for an out of center city location. Like many Hilton’s, this hotel is a decent but doable walk from most points of interest. But it’s location on an outer canal is beautiful, and it is quiet and restful. We will certainly return, and I highly recommend this Hilton.

When we checked in (4 nights) we were informed that the AC was not working and the temperature outside was 30° that weekend!! All the rooms are advertised as having AC. A fan was provided and staff helpful but it was just far too hot and stuffy, it was that bad the next morning I looked for another hotel and got a refund on the remainder of my stay, although I was charged full price for the 1 night I was just happy to leave!! I went to Inntel and that was much nicer.

The W hotel in my impression has very high-end facilities, but the W Hotel in Amsterdam has average facilities. The bar upstairs is more upscale, but the breakfast is not that good. The shower head was broken during my stay. I think they should check it regularly. The equipment was updated, and the housekeeping was not done very quickly, because it was originally expected to be tidying up the room for us at 3:00pm, but it was postponed to 4:00pm. However, we were asked to wait in the bar upstairs, which just delayed some of the schedule. Next time I probably won't choose this room again. To my credit, the view outside the window is beautiful.

At the beginning of this year, I went to Amsterdam and stayed in two hotels, one is the net red hotel Zoku on Xiaohongshu, and the other is Waldorf. Pretty good. • Location: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 📍The geographical position is still quite good, right next to the canal, within 1 km from Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, Dam Square, etc. Amsterdam ’s attractions are also concentrated. Personally, I recommend opening goole navigation and walking along the canal. You You will encounter many surprises! • Experience: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 1⃣️ The hotel was transformed from several gentleman's palaces built in the 17th century. I have seen a blogger write on the Internet before. This Waldorf Astoria was formerly a bank, so there is now a basement Treasury Museum. 2⃣️ Because of the historical reasons for being built near the canal, the hotel's entrance is not magnificent, nor the magnificence of super-luxury hotels. If it is not a hanging logo flag, it will be missed even when passing by, and there is a feeling of tranquility away from the hustle and bustle. 3⃣️ The most impressive thing is the waiter here, the boys are handsome and tall, the girls may not be very beautiful but the temperament is in place, and their work clothes are beautiful, the boys are all big cloaks, and the girls are floral dresses, which are amazing. 4⃣️When checking in, bring a big wooden box to let you choose your favorite indoor fragrance. After checking in, the waiter will brief you on the hotel ’s facilities or the location of the restaurant. When you enter the room, you will also introduce the room pattern. Wait. 5⃣️ Because I stayed for one night, I caught the plane the next day and booked their common room type. The average price is about 650-700 euros a night. The room is about 40 square meters. I think it should be more than that. The layout is very It is spacious, the room decoration is not complicated, and the oncoming comfort is very rare. 6⃣️ The room is ready with a welcome card with your name and special chocolates 🍫, daily necessities such as washing and nursing are Ferragamo, the boss, basically can not run out hahaha. 7⃣️ Including breakfast, breakfast is not in the form of a buffet, but ordering. I came to a continental breakfast gathering. Because I am only one, so the waiter gave me a half serving. There are cheese plate, ham plate, salted salmon, bread, Yogurt, coffee, fruit, etc., halving is not enough to eat haha. 8⃣️ The back garden of the hotel is a big highlight. At the beginning, I just saw the picture of the back garden before thinking about booking, but in winter in Amsterdam, the weather is not satisfactory, either it is overcast or raining, I see a lot of net pictures, spring The garden full of tulips is very charming. 👉 Waldorf Astoria ’s backyard is the largest private courtyard in Amsterdam, and is listed as a world cultural heritage ~

CCHEOKFANThe hotel is located in the heart of Amsterdam's Dam Square, to Chinatown, just a 10-minute walk from the red light district. The hotel is opposite the Queen's department store, the most exclusive department store in Amsterdam with many designer shops, and the shopping street is the second road on the left side of the hotel. On the pedestrian street, about two or thirty minutes is the flower market. On the right side is the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. On the first floor is the famous watch shop. Walk to Haicheng Restaurant for five minutes. The hotel has only 16 rooms in a boutique hotel. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the airport. It can be reached by walk from Amsterdam Central Railway Station for about 15 minutes. It is recommended to take a taxi for large luggage, because the road along the road is uneven and difficult to tow. Between 20-30 euros, because you have to detour. The hotel ci is located on the third floor, the service is warm and thoughtful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, stylish and sophisticated, the smart panel control system is convenient to use, provide late bed service, welcome chocolate and use French Langfan toiletries in Amsterdam hotel Should be among the best. The hotel offers a restaurant on the third floor, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The only products are available, and the price is not high. Because there are too many restaurants around the hotel, the competition is strong. The bar is also on the third floor, and the evening is fragrant. This hotel is worth checking in, but it needs to be booked 15 to 30 days in advance, otherwise the price will rise.

DDebulusateThe biggest advantage: the room size is okay, clean and tidy. The mattress is very comfortable and the quilt is warm. The room is in tower A, which is very quiet, but it has to go through two elevators and a corridor, and there is no view outside the window. Still nice to stay overnight. The location of the hotel is acceptable, although it is not in the canal area. It takes more than half an hour to walk to the canal scenic area. It took two hours to walk to the Central Station and the scenery was great. Breakfast is average, so-so. What is not very satisfactory is that there are no slippers. Even when I checked in, I was told that there was no power converter. European hotels don’t have bottled water or toiletries. But it's still inconvenient because we don't even have slippers. We have to go barefoot the entire room. The front desk man on the second day was a man, and he borrowed it again and directly gave him a power converter, otherwise it would be really inconvenient. The nearest convenience store is less than ten minutes' walk away, so you need to check a map. The clerk's service is quite patient. The biggest drawback is the shower, the water flow is too small, and there is no door in the shower, so the water gets into the bathroom. Overall not bad.

GGuest UserAfter our Viking Rhine Cruise ended in Amsterdam, we planned to stay the night to check out the city. This hotel had the right combination of price, location, and amenities. We chose one of the 2nd floor suits which included a balcony for smoking. The room was located above the side street which was lined with sycamore trees so the balcony was screened by the branches—it was lovely. Noise level was not bad since this was not the tourist sector but it was still the city so it wasn’t quiet or dark. The room was spacious especially the bathroom. From the hotel we walked to the old city and passed several canals along the way. We didn’t wind up eating at the hotel but we did order from the bar and the bartender was friendly. The staff was friendly and called a cab for us in the morning to get to the airport. Would stay here again.

WWENTINGAfter the check-in, I encountered a series of problems. The front desk arranged people to help me solve the problem. The service was very good. My suitcase is broken, and the hotel is looking for someone to help me get it. Then the skinny is too slippery to open the door. The front desk is looking for repairs. I can wrap the tape on the handle to facilitate my access and the hotel steak is super delicious.

GGuest UserWe had the best stay at this hotel. Other reviews regarding the building work seem quite extreme as it didn’t affect us or our trip at all so don’t let that put you off, we did not hear this outside at all. The reception staff were very accommodating although we rarely needed help from them and no issues. We stayed in a spa room it was absolutely lovely and relaxing after a long day walking around. The swimming pool and spa was also really nice and we spent some time there in the evenings as it was open untill 11pm, we was normally the only ones in there too so it wasn’t over crowded. The breakfast was lovely no complaints. We had room service one night and the food was okay just small. All in all we would definitely come back here again.

GGuest UserReview Staff: Friendly, Helpful and Kind, staff were bilingual from what I could understand English and Dutch Location: Easy to get to via bus by the 397 from the Schiphol Airport to the Van Gogh Museum and walk 10-15 minutes or take the Tram 3 the rest of the way. Amenities: They offer multiple consoles to select from to put in your room if you're into that and have a mini cafe/bar in the lounge. Cleanliness: Bedding and towels were clean on arrival but there was a weird smudged substance on the wall that was not cleaned for some reason. Would I recommend: If you are into gaming it's a great location to stay and the price is not bad. There's a nice variety of consoles and games to select but with other peoples reviews and my experience I would not be able to verify how clean your room may be upon arrival.

Hotel in lovely area, 15 min tram to the centre, good sized clean room - basic decoration. Very much a backpackers hotel/hostel vibe. Not for someone expecting a prestige type room for the price. There was a mini fridge in our room we found very useful. Cleaners and staff were great, iron was avaliable, and slept with little noise coming from neighbouring rooms. The place had a nice atmosphere with the music venue and studios on the ground floor. We were very worried after reading some bad reviews but relieved by our actual experience of a spotless room, fresh towels everyday and a fan in our room when it was warm. It still seems a little overpriced in comparison to hotels in other cities but I think its average when it comes to Amsterdam with limited accommodation options.

GGuest UserLike other Amsterdam accommodations, the stairs are high and narrow, but the hotel staff has a service to carry luggage, so there was no big inconvenience in using the hotel. It is a good hotel at a low price.

SSteph3NO ELEVATOR, STEEP STAIRS! The people at reception were nice. I left my iPad by accident after checking out, called to see if housekeeping found it and someone from reception brought it down to me so I wouldn’t have to go up the stairs again, which I appreciated a lot. Room was tiny - enough room to walk in & leave a suitcase, then the bed took up the majority of the room, which I personally liked. Bathroom is odd - toilet at one end, sink in middle, and shower on other end without a curtain or anything, it’s just the shower head with a drain on the floor. Wouldn’t go to this hotel again for the stairs alone, otherwise (if you don’t mind steep stairs) it is a nice place to stay and in a good location.
