Guest UserThis hotel is right in the heart of the old town, and it's absolutely new and fantastic. The mattresses and toiletries are all top-brand, and even the Dyson hairdryer is the latest model. My best friend and I had such a great time here; she was super happy! It truly feels like a super five-star experience. The courtyard is also beautiful – perfect for taking pictures! The manager who greeted us was incredibly warm and attentive. I'll definitely book here again next time I visit the old town. This is a genuine review, not a paid one! 😐

It's a courtyard transformed from an old Jin merchant's mansion, full of ancient charm yet not outdated. The courtyard scenery is absolutely picturesque, offering tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle, guaranteeing a super peaceful night's sleep.
The location is truly unbeatable – very close to the main street, making it easy to go out and explore, yet far enough from the noise when you return to the courtyard. The rooms are spotless, the bedding is soft, and the bathroom facilities are clean and functional, ensuring maximum comfort.
I have to specifically praise the service; it was attentive and considerate throughout, without being intrusive. When guests were dining, they would proactively offer appropriate utensils and even brought warm millet porridge – these small details truly warmed my heart. They also provided travel routes for outings and offered pickup/drop-off services upon arrival.
It's not overly commercialized, full of human warmth. Staying here in Pingyao is an absolute no-brainer; I'll definitely choose this place for my next trip! The beef noodles are incredibly delicious.

Anonymous UserAn absolutely wonderful experience! As soon as we got off the train, a handsome young driver was already waiting for us at the exit, ready to help with our luggage. The drive wasn't long, and he gave us a brief overview of the ancient city. Upon arrival at the hotel, our lovely and warm butler had already cleaned our room and arranged for early check-in. Knowing we hadn't had breakfast yet, she immediately arranged a meal for us. The room itself was clean and tidy, with an antique charm that added a special sense of tranquility. The bedding was incredibly comfortable. For breakfast, each of us received a 'nine-grid' meal: eggs, beef, vegetables, Pingyao specialty noodles, pastries, yogurt, milk, and coffee. They even asked if we wanted more, truly heartwarming. When we left, they gave us a souvenir, and the same handsome young driver took us back. A special thank you to the beautiful and hospitable butler and the warm, attentive staff. HUAZHU Collection Pingyuan Mansion (Pingyao Ancient City Branch) is highly recommended!

Located right next to the Confucius Temple, it's incredibly convenient for exploring the ancient city. The rooms have a traditional decor and are very warm. The hotel grounds are really spacious. We arrived late at night, but it was so easy because we'd messaged the hotel on WeChat beforehand to arrange a complimentary business shuttle pick-up from the high-speed rail station. Their service is excellent and proactive. Since it was the off-season, they even upgraded us to a larger room for free, which was fantastic value for money. With traditional kang beds, old-fashioned door locks, and a classic courtyard, it's perfect for guests who want to experience traditional culture.

Guest UserThe hotel is beautiful, specially the patios. The location is just 10 minutas walking from the North Gate of the wall. In reception they do not speak English, but they were very helpful with the translator. However, if you really need to rest, this hotel is not made for you. At 7am there were already families and kids shouting and playing in the patio. Even with taps, it was too noisy to keep sleeping. The hotel is also offering folkloric dressing and photos shoots, so you might find people take pictures in front of your room anytime, also at night with flashes

Guest UserSuperb! The front desk service and the staff who showed us to our room were incredibly warm and helpful, offering fantastic tips for exploring. Our room was spotless, the bedding was super comfy, and the 'kang' (heated bed) was huge – big enough for five! They even helped us arrange a private car and a really professional tour guide. The food recommendations were divine, and the restaurants near the hotel were also delicious. The location is perfect, making it easy to get in and out of the city. What really sets this place apart is that it's the only guesthouse within the ancient city walls with a grand seven-courtyard layout, very impressive! Even celebrities have stayed here and loved it. The in-house photo shoot service was also a nice touch! Breakfast was excellent, especially the handmade noodles – we each had two bowls! Overall, our entire family was extremely satisfied. An absolutely fantastic stay! 👍👍
