From the perspective of my very picky standards for accommodation quality, the overall performance was unexpectedly mature, not like the newly opened new hotel. First of all, the most sensational thing is the cleanliness. From the hall, corridors to the details of the room, they are maintained very clean, and there is no common pungent smell of new decoration, which is quite a plus. Although the room space is not particularly large, the dynamic line planning is comfortable, and the equipment configuration is also very practical. There will be a simple and elegant feeling of relaxation without oppression. The bed support is good, the sound insulation performance is better than expected, and there is almost no interference by the corridor or the adjacent room at night, which is very important for people who value sleep quality. The overall non-smoking management of the hotel is also clearly done, and there is no smell of smoke in the public area. This is not easy to stay in China. The service staff is kind and responds quickly. Although it is not a high-end luxury hotel, the overall details can feel the level of brand management. Plus, not far from the high-speed rail station, it is quite friendly to the mobile community. At this price, the cleanliness, quietness and novelty have exceeded expectations, and it is a high CP value hotel that will be willing to stay again."

"I did a lot of research on Pingyao Ancient City and finally chose this guesthouse based on reviews. I'm so glad I did! The owner contacted me in advance, and communication was smooth. We took a taxi from the high-speed train station to the North Gate, and the owner came to pick us up, even helping with our luggage and backpacks – their hospitality was almost embarrassing! The inn is located on the main street, North Street. I was very satisfied with the guesthouse's environment; it looked exactly like the pictures. I really wanted to experience this kind of Jin merchant courtyard style, and after watching so many dramas, I finally got to stay in one. It was clean and hygienic. The best part was the owner's warm and thoughtful service. They shared detailed travel tips with us, and anything we needed was just a WeChat message away. Staying here also meant we could use the owner's membership card for a discount at the famous Hongwuji restaurant, which was both delicious and affordable – a dream collaboration! This was the most satisfying guesthouse stay in all my years of traveling, offering incredible value for money. They even gave us a special vinegar as a gift when we left. Perfect!"

They met me and walked me to the city gate. The hotel itself is a small family-run place with a cozy inner courtyard. It’s about 600–800 meters from the main streets, so the atmosphere is calm and quiet. The room was spacious and quite clean. The kang bed is on the firm side — be prepared for that — but for me it was perfectly fine. Overall, this place was the best option in terms of value for money."

"I was really impressed with this hotel, especially at night. It's STUNNING inside the hotel interior. The hotel is located near the Westgate inside the ancient city, where all the taxis are, very convenient if you plan on visiting some temples outside the ancient city. The taxis can't go inside the ancient city but that's not a problem, you only need to walk a short distance before you get to the hotel. The reception greeted me to a surprisingly warm welcome, even after 9 years in China..I have to say this was the most welcomed I've been in a hotel. The receptionist was very kind and spoke some English. As far as the rooms go, the hotel's aesthetic along with the rooms have a very rustic vibe, but don't worry the rooms are clean and the shower is warm. Will definitely recommend this one to everyone."
