AAnonymous UserIf you check in late at night, most of the staff have already left, so the parking lot is pretty empty. When I checked in during the morning, there was a lot more traffic, and I had to look around for a bit to find a spot, but there are still plenty of spaces because it shares a parking lot with the All Seasons Hotel next door. There are also many charging stations, including ones for Xpeng and Zeekr, and a NIO battery swap station. I just couldn't find the entrance to the underground parking garage. Personally, I really like this hotel; the style is a bit more European compared to a traditional business hotel. Plus, they have robot delivery for takeout.

Kken.t07This hotel is excellent! I originally planned to stay for one night, but it was so comfortable that I extended my stay for another night. I've experienced both the king room and the twin room, and both were fantastic. The front desk service was also great. I absolutely love the design of the entire hotel!
GGuest UserPros
- Both our rooms at level 10 were relatively close to each other facing the Wong Tee Plaza. It might be a way of the said front desk staff allocating these rooms to us to compensate for our unpleasant check in experience (see below). Spectacular views and we managed to spectate the night light show on Saturday without needing to go to the Civic Centre.
- Facilities are great including 24-hour well equipped gym and sauna (best of all hotels in China we experienced so far).
- Rooms are relatively new and fully equipped with necessities, has a dyson air dryer, Toto automatic toilet, automated curtains and a steamer to iron the clothes.
- Breakfast had a lot of varieties to offer (personally loved the oden and sushi section), good service too.
- Housekeeping was amazing. As I was leaving my room, Joy asked if we were interested in their laundry services and we declined as we do not have much laundry to do.
After the first day of housekeeping, she noticed we did simple laundry (1-2 pieces of undergarment) and offered us a complimentary mini laundry detergent. We appreciate her thoughtfulness despite the fact that we initially declined her services.
- Check out was relatively seamless, I believe it was the front office manager that managed our check out and explained the deposit refund procedures accordingly.
- Concierge was decent too as they suggested we are better off getting a Didi to transfer our move to our next destination, and helped us load our bags to the Didi.
Cons
The only downside experience was check in. We requested if it would be possible to have interconnecting rooms (all good if not, at least as close to each other as possible within the same floor). We were advised that given interconnecting rooms are not available for the same type of rooms:
1.The staff provided an offer (upgrade to one of the bigger rooms that has interconnecting room with free 3 days hotel breakfast for 2 out of 4 pax). The quote/offer was outside of our budget hence we declined the offer and we just accept our original booking via Trip.com with no interconnecting rooms.
2.After we declined, the staff informed us that she miscalculated the price (from RMB 31k down to RMB 20k) for the same offer. This is very odd/confusing to us especially with the price difference due to miscalculation, and she was trying to push this offer to us again which we declined. At this point, whatever price quoted to us of this offer lost its credibility and we proceeded to stick to our original booking.
3.The staff said that she will notify us via WeChat (she added us on WeChat) once the room is ready. Understood at that time it was before check in time (i.e. before 3pm) hence we decided to grab lunch and come back after the check in time.
It was past 3pm and we heard nothing from her upon returning to hotel and had to approach the front desk to ask for an update. The same staff managed to provide us key card for one of the rooms while the other room is still not ready (it was past 3:20pm at that time). She said that she will arrange one of her coworkers to deliver the keycards to us once that other room is ready. Around 3:50-4:20pm, we heard nothing (I walked past the other room and noted the housekeeping has finished cleaning up the room and left). I had to go to the front desk to request an update and eventually obtained the keycard.
I am not sure if the above stems from the individual's motivation or if this is part of the hotel's standard procedure to aggressively upsell (even if we already said no) or if the front desk is pressured to meet monthly KPIs, but that left us an unpleasant check in experience and obviously did not represent the check in hospitality standards of the hotel itself.
Aside from the check in, we loved everything hence we had to give 4 out of 5.

YYao0106Hygiene: The hygiene was impeccable.
Facilities: The large shower head was very comfortable, and the hot water came on quickly. The smart toilet was a nice convenience. They even provided bath bags for the bathtub. The pool was clean, and the poolside bar had a great vibe at night. There's also a robot that delivers takeaways.
Service: Every staff member I encountered was incredibly warm and friendly. The front desk was very professional and even gave us sand-digging tools. They upgraded our room type, and everyone would proactively greet us when we came and went. The new lady at the front desk had a very friendly smile. On the morning of April 9th, the housekeeping auntie on the 3rd floor was exceptionally good; she immediately provided anything guests needed and was very enthusiastic.
The hotel is right across from an outlet mall, which makes dining and shopping very convenient. Next time I'm in Dameisha, I will definitely stay here again.

Ccircle920As the best hotel in Shenzhen, it truly lives up to expectations. Although it opened several years ago, it's incredibly well-maintained. The bedding and bath products are very thoughtfully chosen, and the welcome tea and snacks were a nice touch. The afternoon tea selection might not be huge, but it's very refined and tastes excellent. I particularly want to mention breakfast – the eggs Benedict were perfectly made, and the braised beef noodles were incredibly authentic. The fresh coconuts also met the high standards you'd expect from a luxury hotel.
However, there was a small hiccup during check-in. When we arrived at our room, we found the door wide open and a man sitting on the sofa! Luckily, a staff member was passing by in the hallway. After hearing what happened, they escorted us to the lobby to clarify the situation. Leo, the lobby manager, sincerely apologized for the hotel's error, and the solution he offered was acceptable. For someone who has stayed in many ultra-luxury hotels worldwide, it's quite unacceptable for a Mandarin Oriental to make such a basic mistake. This was truly a first for me, and I hope the hotel takes this seriously!

GGuest UserFor this price, being able to stay in an authentic sea-view room is incredible value for money, absolutely worth it! I've saved this place and will definitely choose it again next time. I genuinely recommend it to everyone! The service is excellent, and the environment is clean and hygienic. Staying here means you can not only go directly to the beach but also easily and conveniently visit nearby attractions. 👍

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is super convenient, really close to the airport. The rooms are generally quite spacious, and for the same price, it beats out whole-season and Atour hotels. The bed is on the larger side, and its softness is comparable to what you'd find at a Hyatt – excellent value for money! Other details include a desk in the room, which is great for those who need to work on their laptops. There are USB charging ports (not Type-C). The toothbrush provided is soft and good quality, and the toothpaste is a well-known Japanese whitening brand. The bathroom and toilet area are both quite large. The toiletries don't leave your hair or skin feeling dry after showering. The hotel is also very clean, and the room insulation is good. Overall, it feels like 5-star quality for a 3-star price. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nanshan!
AalallallThis hotel feels a bit dated, and there's a noticeable smell in the rooms. It seems the owner's management might be struggling, as the executive lounge's afternoon tea and happy hour have been significantly downgraded. The views are still nice, though I heard even the lounge breakfast will be discontinued soon. The pool is absolutely fantastic; the outdoor pool could easily be considered the most beautiful in Shenzhen. The changing rooms have a pleasant pine scent, which is a nice touch, but it seems there were no slippers. Breakfast was very rich and delicious, with Indian butter naan, jianbing guozi (Chinese crepes), and beef noodles being particularly good. The pastries were also plentiful. Overall, it's much better than the Ritz-Carlton Galaxy.

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location, directly opposite Window of the World. The facilities are comprehensive, the environment is clean, and the rooms are spacious. The staff were very warm and attentive, fulfilling all our requests, even arranging a room with a direct view of Window of the World for us. We were able to watch the drone show and fireworks display from our room at night. The executive lounge benefits were also great; the food and drinks there were a big hit with the kids. Upon departure, they even gave the children gifts, which thrilled them to no end. My kids are already asking to stay at this hotel again on our next trip to Shenzhen.

GGuest UserThe room was spacious and pretty good, though I wasn't a fan of the sandalwood scent – not sure if it was an air freshener or something else. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, actively fulfilling all our requests.
The location is excellent, very close to everything in Futian. The lobby was a bit hard to find; the entrance had promotional photos for a restaurant, so I actually thought it was a restaurant at first, but it turned out to be the lobby.
There was some construction happening on the way from the metro station, but we chose a larger room that wasn't facing the street, so we didn't hear any construction noise – it was very quiet.
The toiletries in the room smelled great, which was a nice touch.
