"I stayed at the Portugal Boutique Hotel for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly attentive, and the amenities provided throughout the hotel were excellent. My room rate included breakfast, which featured a variety of hot options, different pastries, an in-house bakery, and a cold section with meats, fruits, juices, and yogurt. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like a refilled glass bottle of water and in-room coffee. Twice during my visit, I received special treats delivered to the room—once a small bottle of local alcohol, and another time, traditional Portuguese egg custard tarts. The hotel’s location was ideal—very close to public transit, including the metro, and within easy walking distance of many major sightseeing spots. The only consideration is that some noise from the nearby metro can be heard in the rooms, which might be an issue for light sleepers. That said, I truly enjoyed my stay and would absolutely choose to stay here again."

"the location was fabulous and the staff were really very helpful - above and beyond. Nice good sized room with very large bathroom but each room is different as this building if 200+ years old and converted. There was a major street repair in front but these are essential and the noise never started too early or stayed late. Lots of history of building, and the historic earthquake displayed in the building. I would stay again and recommend"

Guest UserMy overall stay at this hotel in Lisbon was excellent. The room was spacious and newly renovated, and the front desk staff provided exceptionally high-quality service. A major bonus was the unlimited complimentary bottled water available upon request, which is a rare find in Europe where most hotels only offer one free bottle. Another highlight was being able to watch the light show directly from my room every evening. Although the hotel isn't in the absolute city center, it's conveniently located right next to bus and metro stations, making getting around incredibly easy.
The only minor drawback was that the room cleaning wasn't always as thorough as it could be. Occasionally, there were lingering stains or residue on towels, cutlery, or bed linen. I'd recommend checking these items upon arrival and simply calling the front desk for replacements if needed. Overall, my stay was very comfortable, and I'd highly recommend this hotel; its service quality is top-notch in Lisbon.

The hotel is located next to Liberty Avenue, which leads directly to the center of the old town (20 min by walk). Next to the hotel there is a supermarket ”continente bom dia”, where you can have a delicious breakfast and eat hot food. The rooms are nice, the breakfast is delicious. Pena Palace can be reached from the hotel by taxi for €25 (32 km) in a Tesla car. I highly recommend using a taxi in Portugal.

Guest UserThe hotel was great location and the receptionists was amazing. They were very helpful and welcoming. Each and every one of them (The reception staff). The facilities was ok but the room wasn't well designed as I could get my suitcase/luggage to the other side as the bed as in the way, it was in the hallway which wasn't that much space. The sound at the place was 50/50. Some days was good to sleep and other days was not good to sleep due to the sound.
The cleanliness that was a different level. The showers was disgusting and dirty, the shower door couldn't close which means the floor was all wet. The cleaners was another story, it was a hit and miss with them, some days they delivery the towels and replace it and other days there was not any towels but they taken away to clean :( The bed was always made.

While the guest rooms are more modest, with a simple, 90s-style decor, they are clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious, making them perfect for family stays. The breakfast area is equally lovely, providing a bright and pleasant start to the day.
Overall, it's a great choice if you're looking for a hotel with incredible public spaces and practical, family-friendly rooms.

It's well-located (near Campolide and Sete Rios), the front office staff are excellent, the restaurant is very pleasant, and the beds are super comfortable, both in the suites and standard rooms. This is where our son learned to walk in 2024, and where we'll always return whenever we're in Lisbon.

Guest UserWe were originally scheduled to fly home on the same morning as our son, but on different flights. Around 5 AM that day, we found out our son's flight was canceled, while ours was still on schedule, leaving us with very little time. Our son wanted to stay an extra day at this hotel to use their gym (we had stayed there for a night two days prior). In my haste to book, I accidentally put my husband's name instead of my son's as the guest. We quickly checked on it after our flight landed, and thankfully, our son successfully checked in. So grateful! 😊 The Uber ride from the hotel to the airport was only CAD$6.

hinniehappyThe location is convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Roma metro station and Roma-Areeiro suburban train station. The hotel lobby and breakfast area are spacious, and the breakfast bread is delicious. The room has a nostalgic feel, the mattress is comfortable, and it's cleaned daily with sufficient air conditioning. The only downsides are the weak hairdryer and the lack of a kettle; you have to go to the lobby bar for hot water.

Breakfast was great with a wide selection. The beds were good too. In the bathroom, there was only a shower in the bathtub… The spa area, including the sauna and steam bath, really needs an upgrade; both are extremely small and old. The rooftop pool could be used if it weren't so windy.

The room is spacious. Clean and has good amenities. It smelled bad inside the elevator all the time. The lobby isn't very present with dirty floors. Breakfast was average. The location was good for me, but a few metro stops away from the touristy spots. But it's a safe location w plenty of other hotel chains, office buildings and restaurants.
