Amazing
AAnonymous UserPros: 1. The hotel's natural environment is excellent, offering sightings of incredibly rare protected animals. They also provide a free wildlife tour, which I highly recommend. It's a fantastic experience to simply walk around the hotel and spot monkeys foraging. 2. The service is outstanding. The hotel staff are attentive and very considerate of guests. The welcome drink was delicious. The hotel facilities are well-maintained, and I received a room upgrade with a great view and a spacious layout. 3. The slippers were very comfortable. The breakfast tableware was exquisite. Cons for me: 1. The claim of being the 'most beautiful Intercontinental' is an exaggeration. Some areas even felt [as pictured], though I suppose one could call it 'unique.' Personally, I found it gaudy. 2. I strongly recommend including executive lounge access. If you arrive early, since there's no air conditioning in the public areas, the only cool indoor space to relax is the executive lounge. Otherwise, you're stuck waiting in the hotel lobby, and elderly guests and children need to be careful to avoid heatstroke. 3. The breakfast was delicious, and the fruit quality was high. However, it's baffling why the other restaurants were so bad. After reading reviews that even the Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant wasn't great, I booked a package that included dinner. I paid extra to change the dishes, but they were still terrible. It was arguably the worst meal I had in Vietnam. 4. Although the hotel was uncrowded and had a good environment, the beach quality was very average, and the loungers by the sea started closing down every day at 6 PM. In summary, I think this Intercontinental is worth staying at, but don't go in with exceptionally high expectations.

HHenry_the_KingTo be honest, some highs and lows here. The service here is more like a 3-star hotel, definitely not a 4-star. I remembered the first two days I was presented with this nice buffet with good food choices , then for another 3 or 4 days, the buffet stopped running and they switched to this really underwhelming a la carte menu that looked more befitting into a 2-star backpacker or student hostel. Then I found out the buffet was only set up because of a number of Chinese guests staying there. When they left, the buffet went (obviously me and the other 15 guests who were staying there, didn't deserve it??) The last two days they set it up again, and surprise, a large number of Russian guests had just checked in. So it turns that only if you are Chinese or Russian you get the attentions here? I know what I paid wasn't cheap, smacks of discrimination. Then on those days the service turned sloppy, I came early for breakfast, I think this is the first place I have been, where they penalise you if you come to eat early. 30 mins after opening and some trays were cold, I had to use the toaster to heat it up. The housekeeping was a bit strange here. They didn't replace the bed sheets, they simply tucked them in (I know this anecdotically, for a fact) One of the coffee cups replaced was soiled and stained, and in one occasion, they had removed one of the bar items without telling me (paving the way to maybe ask me to pay for it later without me taking it, this is not a good practice) The coffee bar was very hit and miss. Some of the pastry pieces on display were some of the most ghastly I've ever seen, they looked raw, I had to ask them if they had been baked, they said yes (they were unglazed) On the second day, they served me this wishy washy mish mash of crushed ice with some mango on top, didn't taste of anything, they wanted 40000 d for that, how is that even on the menu? After that, I didn't set foot in there again. The hotel was not even at 20% capacity, and they had the brilliant idea of putting people directly next to me and above upstairs..really? The pikey backpackers would be thumping on the floor a lot of the time, very poor isolation. Upon leaving, I had this Be taxi driver (white car, 125.xx plate) He parked across the road, I was carrying my suitcases, I told him to turn around. He got in his taxi, drove off, and left me STRANDED, this was a booking to the airport, what kind of subhuman does that??? My experience with the Vietnamese is not great, but the staff here were kind and helpful, and assisted me greatly. Location not really great, a bit far from everything, but the place was very clean. So there are some positives, but this is in no way a 4 star for me, especially when subject to profiling and priviledges are removed, depending on where you come from, and what colour your skin is.

DDaria_lsvaA wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Da Nang. When I booked, I thought the room decor looked a bit outdated, but that's not the case at all! The room is fantastic: high ceilings, comfortable mattresses, and solid hardwood furniture. In the evenings, they bring small treats like dried fruit. The breakfasts are incredibly varied, offering both European and traditional Vietnamese dishes, various coffees, and even ice cream. The food at the beach bar is also excellent. The price is high compared to other 4-5 star hotels in Vietnam. Here, you experience tranquility and relaxation, with many areas for unwinding (pools, hammocks, bean bags). There's also a kids' club. If you want to dive into the chaos and vibrant city life, it's about a 15-20 minute drive, and taxis arrive quickly. There are only 16 sun loungers on the beach, but you can always find a spot, as most guests are European and Korean, with few Russian speakers who tend to occupy loungers all day. The spa center is top-notch.

DdavylegrandThe hotel overall is dated but not old. It has everything that you are looking for but not on a 5 Star level. The service is average, everyone is friendly and helpful and more like a 4 Star rather than a 5 Star level. We stayed at the beachfront deluxe room and it was lovely being close to the ocean. The breakfast was amazing and had a big variety of options. The location is great right by the ocean and about 10 minutes into HoiAn old town. Good value for money!

GGuest UserHonestly, this room isn't worth 1600 RMB a night, but since my friend was holding their wedding here, I had no choice but to stay. The pros: The hotel's location is excellent, with a private beach and beautiful gardens – all top-notch facilities. The cons: The room itself is roughly on par with a more upscale Atour Hotel back home. The bathtub leaked, the toilet seat wobbled every time you sat on it, the ceiling fan switch couldn't be turned off, and the space wasn't very big. Even the slippers were like those disposable paper ones you find in a Home Inn. So, in summary, the room itself isn't worth the price, but the exterior scenery is absolutely stunning and definitely worth it. Check-in at the front desk was very slow, but the service attitude was excellent.

FfanguLet's start with the positives: This hotel is perfect for families with kids. The complimentary pool with slides is a lot of fun, and there's also an infinity pool on the rooftop. Even if the weather isn't great, there's no need to worry as the hotel has its own indoor playground, ensuring fun regardless of the temperature (unless it's extremely cold). The bathroom has two sinks, which is great for couples or families as everyone gets their own space. You can find everything you need for dining, drinking, and entertainment right at the hotel. However, I found the overall Vietnamese food quite average (not very tasty). Pho and banh mi are good, but you can't eat them for every meal. Now for the downsides: The 'sea view' is actually a bay. We stayed for three nights, and it seemed to be cloudy the whole time, so the view of the opposite shore was always hazy and not particularly impressive. The surrounding area isn't convenient for dining or entertainment; it takes about half an hour by taxi to get to My Khe Beach or the Old Quarter. My impression of the housekeeping was that they basically just made the bed. My suggestion: If you're coming to Da Nang, consider staying at Mikazuki for two or three nights before moving to My Khe.

AAnonymous UserThe room all old furniture… Small room… can’t imagine those who bring big luggage, hardly got space to walk… Such small room should remove the small table and chairs… The TV remote was not working, request to change battery … they say will come to my room immediately … but in the end… waited 10minutes nobody comes.. I have to bring the remote to reception to get the battery replaced …. They got a cold fridge… The breakfast serve nice buttery pancakes… Other food… not so good… They never top up food when finished… The restaurant that only one who always give a smiling face is the one who cook the pancake and egg station… More room for improvement… Surprisingly this hotel have many Indian nationals customers … so you can see few when breakfast, use hand to take food although tongs are provided …I just comment what I saw in the 3 days…no hard feelings … Hotel Near 2 nice bakeries…and Macdonal… Also near an overpriced massage place for men… no women… better skip this place…

JJodiFaithMy stay at the Sandy Beach Resort in Đà Nẵng was absolutely wonderful. The room was not only big but also spotlessly clean, and it offered the best view of the sunrise I’ve ever seen—waking up to that every morning was pure magic. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety to start the day right. The location is great too: it only takes about 15 minutes to reach the core beach, where you can enjoy jetskiing, parasailing, and other fun water activities. Whether you’re traveling as a couple or with family, this resort is a fantastic choice. I will definitely revisit!

AAnna MoshkovaHoang Sa is located 10 minutes from the beach, that's the main advantage. The area is not very comfortable for walking or picturesque but there are shops nearby, cheap laundry services, market, exchange office. We stayed in 3 different deluxe rooms during about 3 weeks. All rooms are spacious with big beds. The air conditioner was old and working with some trouble in 2 rooms. The shower was great. Wi fi was quite good. There are a lot of ants around the desk in one room. Great service at the reception and room service every day, they always brought water, toilet paper and tea. There was some noise from the construction nearby and some karaoke outside from time to time. The lift was fast. They also provide baggage storage at the reception, we went away for a week and left suitcases there. The location is not far from My An and the sights. There are a lot of massage salons in the street, prices are affordable.
