Our experience at Kempinski The Boulevard with our 4‑ and 3‑year‑olds was mixed. The property itself is elegant and well‑located, but as a family traveling with young children, we found the stay less smooth than expected.

There was a noticeable lack of clear direction, which made navigating the hotel and its facilities challenging. With kids in tow, this added unnecessary stress. Unfortunately, the staff were not as helpful or attentive as we had hoped—they seemed less proactive in guiding us or offering support, which is especially important when traveling with little ones.

But the location is awesome !

This is a hotel that’s absolutely not at luxury standard. At a good location but staff attitude (except for room staff) is bad. We had two twin rooms and the hotel said only one twin room was booked and the other was a double bed. Room size wasn’t accurate too, trip.com stated 45sqm but hotel told us it’s only 41sqm. The curtain isn’t clean too, attached photo proof. Kitchen utensils weren’t clean too. On my first night, I called to ask to provide an option as there was construction going on even at 3am midnight, concierge said they would check but never return a call after.

The night view must be great, but I was so tired I just fell asleep 😅. This is the morning view instead.

Loved every bit, breakfast was awesome. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Anastasia was our host for the first day and her smile made us start our everyday there very beautifully. She was exceptionally lovely. 

Bangkok is filled with hotels, mostly located along the BTS or by the river. This hotel, however, has a rather average location but a high price. Many people recommended it online, so I decided to give it a try.

I booked a 3-night stay in an Executive Floor double room. The lobby is designed like a garden, and the staff are very professional. The executive lounge is spacious, and both the afternoon tea and cocktail selections are quite extensive. Gee, who assisted us, was very polite and professional, with excellent English, and even escorted us to our room to introduce the facilities.

Our room was a super spacious 80 square meters, with a modern design – I was extremely satisfied. The breakfast at the lobby restaurant, recommended by Michelin, is on par with top-tier hotels. The quality is high, yet it doesn't feel overly formal or intimidating, which was excellent.

I tried breakfast at the executive lounge one day; while it wasn't as extensive as the lobby's, it offered more privacy and still had plenty of choices. Mook, who attended to us, was very attentive and had a lovely smile – excellent service. The spa was also very good, but expensive. However, there are significant discounts if you become a member.

 The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to the nearby BTS station and shopping mall, but the shuttle bus is small and the frequency is low, so there's room for improvement. The pool isn't bad, but there aren't enough sun loungers, and it doesn't get direct sunlight.

The highlight of my entire Bangkok trip was unexpectedly this hotel! It's hands down the best family-friendly hotel I've ever stayed in. Initially, from the photos, I thought it would just be similar to the Mandarin Oriental Singapore's family rooms, but it absolutely blew that out of the water. This hotel genuinely puts effort into its service. The family room actually had a Nintendo console, a children's toilet, and a full set of Sebamed children's toiletries that were replaced daily. All the complimentary snacks were incredibly delicious and something you can't buy elsewhere! The living room also had a kitchen and a washing machine, making it feel just like home. Both the room and the living/dining area were spacious enough, not cramped at all. The family room even had a secret little door for kids to go back and forth from the living room – no child could resist a family room like this! The hotel breakfast was also incredibly delicious! The staff were all very friendly! In short, if I ever come back to Bangkok, it will definitely be for this hotel! It's absolutely worth every penny!

I extended my stay for another night due to the typhoon, and it was an incredibly warm and thoughtful experience. The front desk staff, Amber, Freya, and Eva, provided meticulous and attentive service, and you could feel their genuine sincerity in every interaction. The team in red, Lucia, Scarlett, and Alice, were caring and detail-oriented. The concierges, Chris and Noa, were courteous and polite, offering highly professional city information. The room was spotlessly clean, and all the facilities were complete and functional. The public areas were clean and elegant. There was no excessive formality, which made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Both the value for money and the overall experience were excellent. I'm extremely satisfied and it truly deserves five stars! I will definitely come back again.

Bringing my furry friend this time was such a pleasant surprise! The hotel is incredibly pet-friendly, truly! They thoughtfully prepared a pet bed, a dedicated pet hair dryer, pet towels, water bowls, and poop bags. Pets even receive a welcome gift (a pet plush toy). The room was spotlessly clean and completely odor-free. The pet-friendly rooms have a small courtyard, and they even provide a special pet key card! What touched me most was how the staff actively greeted my dog; this feeling of being respected and accepted was wonderful! I also want to thank the hotel staff, especially the lovely Zhang Yao, for her meticulous care! From introducing the hotel facilities to promptly bringing us mosquito repellent patches, and then, knowing I extended my stay for another night, bringing new key cards and all the dog's necessities directly to our room in the morning. Even though the hotel is a bit remote, it's truly worth it! This is the best pet-friendly hotel I've ever stayed at! Looking forward to my next visit!
