MM38965****This place is really great. First of all, the rooms are very nice, clean, and spacious, with an outdoor swimming pool (directly connected to the pool from the first floor). We came during the off-season, so we had a private pool for two. The service is also excellent. Compared to five-star hotels, where staff are generally just politely smiling, here the staff all have genuinely friendly smiles. In Riyue Bay, staff will take you wherever you want to go in a small car, stopping wherever you want (during the off-season). The breakfast here is very refined, unlike the buffet style of large hotels. There's complimentary afternoon tea (the passion fruit tea is amazing!), and a cup of evening tea. Honestly, the overall experience was better than at a typical guesthouse, but the friendliness of everyone was a big plus. (Special praise to Xiaomei and Agui! Xiaomei is a very gentle young lady, and Agui is a very knowledgeable young man about the local area; you can ask him in advance where you want to go.)

WWaikin.mDe Vivre is to live, and you will never feel more alive here. Away from the hectic city life and mundane repetitive everyday work rush, you can wind down and relax here. The setting of the place is like a garden, it has a touch of rustic yet modern. If you are looking for a place to take photos then this is the place for you. Every inch of De Vivre will produce the best photo you can ever ask for. They even provide a free photography service for you if you need( first 3 photos is by the photographer). The most outstanding part about this place, more so than the scenary is the service provided by the staff there. They have a 24hours butler service that will try help you resolve any problems that you have to the best of their abilities. They are swift in responding and always always very friendly to make you feel at home. The owner who is there most of the time will chat with you and offer you fruits from the local villagers and really make you feel at ease and at home. Not to mention the 2 dogs there that are extremely friendly that will only try to ask you for belly rubs. They also offer a lot of activies in the hotel such as henna painting, hair braiding and other diy art events, with afternoon tea and even movie under the stars. If you are looking to go to the nearby beach, they have a chauffer to bring you there and back, you just have to communicate the timings with them. The whole stay is extremely pleasant. If you are worried about the cleanliness of the place, it is extremely clean. Thy would on the air conditional before you arrive so that your room would already be cool. The room always smells very pleasant. Last but not least, I just wanna say this is not a sponsored post hahaha. These are all heartfelt feelings and I would definitely find time to go back there. They definitely made me feel like home even away from home. This is the perfect getaway for anyone.

GGuest UserAfter staying at Indigo Lingshui, moving to Grand Hyatt Shenzhou Peninsula was quite a letdown. First, from check-in to being shuttled to the room, it took at least 15 minutes, and the staff hadn't even set up the bed rail. This indirectly led to my son falling off the bed (thankfully, he was fine). Secondly, the room's remote control wasn't responsive. My wife opened the back cover to find the batteries inside were moldy and corroded. We had to contact staff to replace them. The electric curtains in the room wouldn't close completely, leaving a gap. We had to call a technician to fix them. Surprisingly, the toilet wasn't a smart toilet, and there was only one box of tissues provided. There were no tissues in the bathroom or at the coffee station, which was very inconvenient. Regarding housekeeping, we requested a room clean and mineral water refill at 10 AM, but when we returned to the room after 1 PM, it still hadn't been cleaned... the efficiency is quite low. The indoor children's playground also didn't provide non-slip socks, only disposable ones, which offered no grip at all. Currently, only one outdoor pool is open, and it's not very large. It wasn't without its good points, though. The buffet breakfast was delicious, especially the coriander beef and shrimp rice rolls. The public areas were beautifully landscaped and great for photos. Perhaps my expectations were too high. Based on online reviews, I thought I had booked the top hotel in Wanning, but it turned out to be not that great. Maybe next time I'll try a different hotel.

The whole vibe of this hotel is peaceful, green, and super relaxing — perfect for a little escape from the city. While my room didn’t face the ocean directly, it overlooked a beautiful garden full of lush tropical trees and plants. It felt like waking up in the middle of a quiet jungle oasis. I loved how calming it was — birds chirping in the morning, swaying palm trees, and so much natural light. The room itself was spotless and stylish, with a comfortable bed and everything I needed. You can tell they care about maintaining the place really well. What really made this stay special was the staff. Everyone I met was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help — whether it was arranging transportation or giving local tips. They even have drivers who can take you around to explore nearby beaches and spots, which was super convenient. One of my favorite little perks? The coffee shop inside the hotel where you can grab free coffee anytime. I spent a lot of time there, sipping on iced drinks and reading in the garden — it was honestly the perfect recharge. The whole property feels cozy and nature-focused. Not flashy or crowded — just clean, peaceful, and full of tropical charm. Whenever I visit Wanning, this Gift Seaview B&B is my top choice. You can enjoy the sea view right from your room! The location is absolutely superb, offering an unobstructed, incredibly expansive sea view. In the morning, you can watch the blue sky and sea through the window, and in the evening, you can admire the sunset right from the hotel. Trust me, you won't find a more picturesque spot for photos! When in Wanning, choosing this place is a surefire win.

GGuest UserMy stay at Footprint Homestay was truly a delightful experience. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was impressed by its elegant design and the warm, attentive service. The staff were professional and considerate, handling check-in efficiently and answering all my questions with great patience, making me feel right at home. They even went extra mile to pick us at the ShenZhou Station which is approximately 3-4mins away from the hotel. The room was spacious, bright, clean, and well-equipped with high-quality amenities. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bathroom featured a separate shower and bathtub, with plenty of hot water and stable water pressure. The location was also ideal, with convenient transportation links and close proximity to several tourist attractions and shopping areas, making it easy to explore or shop. The hotel also offers leisure facilities like a swimming pool, perfect for unwinding after a day out. Every moment spent at Footprint Homestay was comfortable and enjoyable, making it an excellent choice for travelers. Highly recommended!

SStarliterFacilities: Basic B&Bs are recommended to install screen windows and doors, otherwise it is impossible to open the doors and windows for ventilation at night. The room is not big to begin with, and it is uncomfortable to be stuffy inside. Hygiene: The boss lady washes and dries the linens herself, which is quite good. Environment: Very close to the coast, the homestay with its own yard is very comfortable during the day. It is recommended to install a bathroom curtain in the room Service: You can't have too many requirements for homestay services, and they have basic accommodation needs. The two bosses are very busy, the boss is very enthusiastic, and they provide tools for catching seafood

GGuest UserThe hotel has been extensively renovated since my last stay. There is a cool new gym, a laundry room and the pool area is still top notch. Breakfast is generous and varied. Th rooms are really relaxing, with high quality linens, towels, pillows and mattresses making it very comfortable . The combination rain shower/nozzle shower is excellent and the room comes with a huge tv also. I had a courtyard room which has 2 more seats outside but a balcony room might have been just as convenient. Staff are really friendly and the room is cleaned to a high standard each day. Location is excellent. The hotel is across the quiet roadway from the beach which is being upgraded with new sand being spread. The Shaka Surf shop is just outside the hotel for lessons and rentals, and there is a really nice restaurant (Goofy Dog) just beside that. The noise at night might be an issue with small kids but if you want to be in the heart of the ‘scene’ there’s nowhere better to be. I would very highly recommend this as a place to stay in Riyue Bay.

MMaoxiaojieoooI give this hotel 100% praise. I always thought that the hygiene of B&Bs is difficult to guarantee, but the hygiene here is very good. The balcony is very large, with a panoramic view of the sea. Because I brought children with me, I booked a 3-bedroom. The room is very spacious and the children had a lot of fun. I strongly recommend going to the beach bar opposite at night to sit. There are fireworks 🎆 and it is also very convenient to ride a bike

KKelkooLocation: ONLY book if you are coming with your own car. Accommodation is not easily accessible by foot especially if you are arriving at night. All food places at least 5-10 min DRIVE. However, it is an interesting location as it is not close to the sea, so you get to experience another side of Hainan’s environment. Make sure you bring mosquito repellent. Service: Was just okay - not the most helpful unless you ask questions. For example, the SUPs have to be booked ahead so their trainer is scheduled to come - which was not mentioned. So if you are only staying for one day, make sure you tell them ahead. Cleanliness: Since it is a humid environment, mould will likely appear. The tent we were in had a lot of mould on many of the inner walls. There was an attempt at simply covering it but these tents should be cleaned and treated. Amenities: the tents definitely are definitely more fancy than normal tents - ours had a shower and AC. I was mostly disappointed by the lack of activities and food availability. I think if you are an accommodation that is difficult to access - at least food/drinks options should be provided.
