GGuest UserI recently stayed here as a Belgian Chinese traveler, and even though my Chinese isn’t very strong, I was welcomed with so much warmth. This hostel is a true hidden gem, tucked away from the typical tourist trails in a quiet part of the village. It’s the perfect location: right by the fields and some very trendy coffee shops, yet only a 5-minute scooter ride from the main bay and the best surf spots.
The owners, Shuiku (水库) and Xiaoxiao (笑笑), really made my trip. Shuiku immediately helped me sort out a scooter and personally showed me where to find the best waves, while Xiaoxiao’s English is quite good, which made everything so much easier. They also pointed me toward some local restaurants that were all absolutely delicious.
The vibe of the place is just great. It’s incredibly clean because the cleaning lady and Shuiku himself clean the place several times a day. I loved the design of the indoor chill-out area, though sitting outside to enjoy the tropical weather was just as good. There’s a washing machine which is super handy, and you can rent surfboards for a very fair, cheap price.
Because the owners' friends drop by almost daily, there’s always a lively, authentic atmosphere. I met a great mix of foreign tourists and Chinese solo travelers trekking around the island by bike or motorcycle. Many Chinese couples and families where staying too, it is very kid-friendly too. I even ended up meeting a French girl there, and we spent a whole week surfing together. If you're looking for a peaceful yet social spot to surf, this is it.

最让我喜欢的是这里的氛围。老板的朋友们经常过来串门，所以感觉特别亲切、有生活气息。我在这里遇到了很多外国游客，还有不少骑自行车或摩托车环岛的中国驴友。我甚至还结识了一位法国姑娘，我们俩一起冲浪了一整个星期。很多中国夫妇和家庭也住在这里，这里也非常适合带孩子入住。如果你想在海南找一个既能安静休息又能结识有趣朋友的冲浪点，选这里准没错。

WWaikin.mDe Vivre is to live, and you will never feel more alive here. Away from the hectic city life and mundane repetitive everyday work rush, you can wind down and relax here. The setting of the place is like a garden, it has a touch of rustic yet modern. If you are looking for a place to take photos then this is the place for you. Every inch of De Vivre will produce the best photo you can ever ask for. They even provide a free photography service for you if you need( first 3 photos is by the photographer).
The most outstanding part about this place, more so than the scenary is the service provided by the staff there. They have a 24hours butler service that will try help you resolve any problems that you have to the best of their abilities. They are swift in responding and always always very friendly to make you feel at home. The owner who is there most of the time will chat with you and offer you fruits from the local villagers and really make you feel at ease and at home. Not to mention the 2 dogs there that are extremely friendly that will only try to ask you for belly rubs.
They also offer a lot of activies in the hotel such as henna painting, hair braiding and other diy art events, with afternoon tea and even movie under the stars. If you are looking to go to the nearby beach, they have a chauffer to bring you there and back, you just have to communicate the timings with them. The whole stay is extremely pleasant.
If you are worried about the cleanliness of the place, it is extremely clean. Thy would on the air conditional before you arrive so that your room would already be cool. The room always smells very pleasant.
Last but not least, I just wanna say this is not a sponsored post hahaha. These are all heartfelt feelings and I would definitely find time to go back there. They definitely made me feel like home even away from home. This is the perfect getaway for anyone.

I have always had high expectations for accommodation during travels, hoping that it can become a place to rest my weary soul during the journey. Shanyin undoubtedly perfectly fits all my imaginations of an ideal B&B, and even far exceeds my expectations, so I have to give it a five-star rating.
The moment you step into the B&B, it feels like you have walked into a world where time has treated you gently. The courtyard is full of colorful flowers and green plants, with wooden tables and chairs placed randomly. Under the sunlight, it exudes a lazy and comfortable atmosphere. When checking in, the warm smile and thoughtful service of the lady at the front desk instantly dispelled my fatigue from the journey. She patiently introduced me to the facilities of the B&B and the surrounding travel guide. Her friendliness was like that of an old friend whom I hadn't seen for a long time.
The room I stayed in gave me a lot of surprises. The room is decorated exquisitely and elegantly, and every detail shows the owner's care. The solid wooden bed is soft and comfortable, and paired with high-quality bedding, it allows me to have a good night's sleep; a few classic books and a bouquet of elegant flowers are placed at the bedside, adding a touch of literary and artistic atmosphere to the entire space. The decorative paintings and ornaments in the room are original and complement the overall style, revealing a unique taste. The bathroom is clean and tidy, and is fully equipped with toiletries. All of them are high-quality products and are very comfortable to use.
In the early morning, I was awakened by the singing of birds outside the window. I opened the window and the fresh air hit my face. In the distance were dark green mountains and in the near distance was curling smoke from cooking. A quiet and beautiful rural picture slowly unfolded before my eyes. After a quick wash, we went to the restaurant to enjoy breakfast. The breakfast provided by the B&B is rich and varied, including local cakes, fresh fruits, nutritious porridge, as well as fragrant coffee and tea. Each one is delicious and injects full vitality into the new day.
Shanyin is not only a place to stay, but also a harbor where the soul can rest and be nourished. Here, I am away from the hustle and bustle of the city, enjoying the tranquility and beauty to the fullest. Every corner has left me with beautiful memories, and every service made me feel the warmth of home. I sincerely hope that more people can discover this treasure land and spend an unforgettable time here. I highly recommend this to all my friends who love traveling. On my first day in Hainan, the B&B I stayed in gave me so many surprises! Must give a super praise! 💯
📍Location:
The location of the B&B is excellent. It is located in a quiet corner, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and very close to the most popular attractions: Shanqin Bay, Yanzi Cave, Zhengmenling Bridge, and only takes ten minutes by car. I saw the same black reef in Iceland🪨 and the super beautiful sunset, it was a worthwhile trip. 🤗
🏠Room:
We originally booked a common room type at Yejianhai, but because we first saw a room with a terrace on the platform, I asked the clerk if that room type was available, and was told that we could be upgraded to the room type we liked. As soon as you enter the room, you are struck by its warmth and comfort. The room is very exquisitely decorated, and every detail reflects the care and attention of the B&B owner and designer. It is said that Ouyang Nana has stayed in this room type! 🤩
🌳Environment:
The environment of the B&B is even more beautiful. Surrounded by green trees and luxuriant flowers and plants, it feels like you are in a paradise. There is also a small garden in the yard, filled with various tropical plants, which makes people feel happy. Here, you can enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the B&B.
💁Service:
The service at the B&B is also top-notch. The clerks were all very warm and friendly. Sister Xiao Weng called us in advance at noon to ask us when we would arrive at the B&B. She prepared watermelon and pineapple for us and turned on the air conditioner in the room in advance. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and offered to help carry our luggage. During our stay, we were always attentive to our needs. In the evening, Awei and Abin finally waited for us and arranged local pineapples, cashews, and dried grapefruit for us. They were really considerate and enthusiastic ❤️🔥The B&B is opposite the sea, and they even took my husband to the beach to experience catching crabs🦀. Because it was my birthday the next day, the store manager sister called all the store staff together to sing a happy birthday song to me, which was really sincere. The breakfast provided by the B&B is also delicious. Overall, I am very satisfied with everything. If I have a chance next time, I will go to this place to stay quietly for a few days.

We attended two yoga classes and the hotel service was excellent; they basically arranged whatever we asked for, and their response time was incredibly fast. The hotel also paid great attention to hygiene, which shows it's a hotel with depth. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape.

GGuest UserMy stay at Footprint Homestay was truly a delightful experience. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was impressed by its elegant design and the warm, attentive service. The staff were professional and considerate, handling check-in efficiently and answering all my questions with great patience, making me feel right at home. They even went extra mile to pick us at the ShenZhou Station which is approximately 3-4mins away from the hotel.
The room was spacious, bright, clean, and well-equipped with high-quality amenities. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bathroom featured a separate shower and bathtub, with plenty of hot water and stable water pressure.
The location was also ideal, with convenient transportation links and close proximity to several tourist attractions and shopping areas, making it easy to explore or shop. The hotel also offers leisure facilities like a swimming pool, perfect for unwinding after a day out.
Every moment spent at Footprint Homestay was comfortable and enjoyable, making it an excellent choice for travelers. Highly recommended!

DDizhexidongdongFacilities: Extremely well-equipped. The washing machine and refrigerator are absolutely essential in a tropical coastal city. It was so convenient to just toss our swimsuits into the washing machine after a dip in the sea every day. The guesthouse even provided small packets of laundry detergent, which was more than enough. It was also great to have a fridge for storing fruits and desserts we bought.
The TV is large and supports screen mirroring, which is fantastic. The air conditioning is powerful too.
We could use the pools and water park at the Legend Seaview Hotel, which is a great perk. Unfortunately, the water park wasn't open in June, but the pool was still very good.
Environment: Absolutely beautiful. The balcony view is exceptional, with double-sided sea views. I wanted to take photos every day, and it really lifted my spirits. For this price, this guesthouse offers incredible value.
Service: The housekeeper service is excellent. They respond instantly during working hours and are always ready to help. If something was missing or broken, repairs were done very promptly. An auntie came to clean every day, and the service quality was comparable to a hotel.
Hygiene: For a guesthouse, the hygiene was already very good. However, I have a few suggestions:
First, because the air by the sea is humid, the carpets in the bedroom tend to develop a musty smell if the windows aren't open for a while, and they're difficult to maintain. Dry flooring would be cleaner. It would be great if the carpet could be removed.
Second, upon check-in, we found a bit of old food residue in the refrigerator 😂. It would be good to improve the cleanliness of food storage areas like the fridge.
Third, perhaps because the entire building consists of apartments with kitchens, we found large cockroaches every day during our stay (for someone from the north, they truly seemed big). However, after asking the cleaning auntie to increase the dosage of cockroach killer, the ones we found afterward were basically dead.
Aside from these three points, I was quite satisfied with the guesthouse's hygiene.
Location: It's on Rongchuang Peninsula, where there are plenty of dining and shopping options. There are also many shuttle buses to the beach, which is very convenient. However, food and drinks on the island are a bit pricier. We rented an electric scooter and sometimes went to the village for meals and to buy fruit.

It's located in the village, but it's easy to reach out to the beach line just in 10-15 min walk or several minutes on a e-scooter that you can rent directly in the store. Welcome to negotiate for a better rent price 😁. 60 - ＞ 40 RMB. If you are lucky, you might can find a lower price in the village.

For renting the surf board, I'd recommend go directly to the stands right on the beach (right side of the beach, closer the bridge that connects the island with living compound). 80-100 RMB per board for one time use (a couple of hours).
Absolutely must go to Kaya and other bars for late drinking and partying! You can meet lots of cool young Chinese people.
