GGuest UserI recently stayed here as a Belgian Chinese traveler, and even though my Chinese isn’t very strong, I was welcomed with so much warmth. This hostel is a true hidden gem, tucked away from the typical tourist trails in a quiet part of the village. It’s the perfect location: right by the fields and some very trendy coffee shops, yet only a 5-minute scooter ride from the main bay and the best surf spots.
The owners, Shuiku (水库) and Xiaoxiao (笑笑), really made my trip. Shuiku immediately helped me sort out a scooter and personally showed me where to find the best waves, while Xiaoxiao’s English is quite good, which made everything so much easier. They also pointed me toward some local restaurants that were all absolutely delicious.
The vibe of the place is just great. It’s incredibly clean because the cleaning lady and Shuiku himself clean the place several times a day. I loved the design of the indoor chill-out area, though sitting outside to enjoy the tropical weather was just as good. There’s a washing machine which is super handy, and you can rent surfboards for a very fair, cheap price.
Because the owners' friends drop by almost daily, there’s always a lively, authentic atmosphere. I met a great mix of foreign tourists and Chinese solo travelers trekking around the island by bike or motorcycle. Many Chinese couples and families where staying too, it is very kid-friendly too. I even ended up meeting a French girl there, and we spent a whole week surfing together. If you're looking for a peaceful yet social spot to surf, this is it.

青旅的环境没得说，非常干净，我看到保洁阿姨和水库每天都会打扫好几次。室内休息区的设计感很强，在那儿待着很舒服，或者在院子里享受海南的好天气也很惬意。这里还有洗衣机可以用，冲浪板的租借价格也非常公道。
最让我喜欢的是这里的氛围。老板的朋友们经常过来串门，所以感觉特别亲切、有生活气息。我在这里遇到了很多外国游客，还有不少骑自行车或摩托车环岛的中国驴友。我甚至还结识了一位法国姑娘，我们俩一起冲浪了一整个星期。很多中国夫妇和家庭也住在这里，这里也非常适合带孩子入住。如果你想在海南找一个既能安静休息又能结识有趣朋友的冲浪点，选这里准没错。

MM305387****The hotel is located in the resort, the environment is super good, and it is very quiet to sleep at night! And the mattress feels of very good quality, and it is very comfortable to sleep. This is the hotel where my children and I slept the best during a week-long tour of Hainan East Line!
The hotel provides breakfast and afternoon tea. As a local, I must praise the Qingbuliang provided by this hotel for afternoon tea. The Qingbuliang that the locals like is really amazing.
The breakfast is also very rich! Adults and children can choose what they like!
The hotel room is full of design, and you can take a big picture in every corner. I think it is not an exaggeration to say that it is the most photogenic hotel in Wanning.
There is also a large balcony outside the room. Sitting on the balcony and looking out the window is really quiet!
The hotel's swimming pool is really great, and it also provides a glass boat. The atmosphere for taking pictures is amazing~ You can take pictures at will~

MM260975****Bring the dog out to play, this is a pet-friendly store nearby, so although the budget is a little over, it is also set here, I did not expect it to be a treasure store. The nearby Yandunhai facilities are very complete, the beach is beautiful, there are few people, the design of the hotel is also very good, the attractions on the side are also very complete, take pictures or something, not lose to Haitang Bay, but not so noisy there. Seeing me come alone, the boss invited me to eat hot pot with them, and home-cooked food. There are also bananas they grow themselves here. And it is really friendly to the dog~ You can hear the sound of the waves at night, it is very decompressed, the breakfast is also delicious, the noodles are a bit salty. WWaikin.mDe Vivre is to live, and you will never feel more alive here. Away from the hectic city life and mundane repetitive everyday work rush, you can wind down and relax here. The setting of the place is like a garden, it has a touch of rustic yet modern. If you are looking for a place to take photos then this is the place for you. Every inch of De Vivre will produce the best photo you can ever ask for. They even provide a free photography service for you if you need( first 3 photos is by the photographer).
The most outstanding part about this place, more so than the scenary is the service provided by the staff there. They have a 24hours butler service that will try help you resolve any problems that you have to the best of their abilities. They are swift in responding and always always very friendly to make you feel at home. The owner who is there most of the time will chat with you and offer you fruits from the local villagers and really make you feel at ease and at home. Not to mention the 2 dogs there that are extremely friendly that will only try to ask you for belly rubs.
They also offer a lot of activies in the hotel such as henna painting, hair braiding and other diy art events, with afternoon tea and even movie under the stars. If you are looking to go to the nearby beach, they have a chauffer to bring you there and back, you just have to communicate the timings with them. The whole stay is extremely pleasant.
If you are worried about the cleanliness of the place, it is extremely clean. Thy would on the air conditional before you arrive so that your room would already be cool. The room always smells very pleasant.
Last but not least, I just wanna say this is not a sponsored post hahaha. These are all heartfelt feelings and I would definitely find time to go back there. They definitely made me feel like home even away from home. This is the perfect getaway for anyone.

I stayed here for 4 nights and honestly, I’m already thinking about my next trip back. The whole vibe of this hotel is peaceful, green, and super relaxing — perfect for a little escape from the city.
While my room didn’t face the ocean directly, it overlooked a beautiful garden full of lush tropical trees and plants. It felt like waking up in the middle of a quiet jungle oasis. I loved how calming it was — birds chirping in the morning, swaying palm trees, and so much natural light.
The room itself was spotless and stylish, with a comfortable bed and everything I needed. You can tell they care about maintaining the place really well.
What really made this stay special was the staff. Everyone I met was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help — whether it was arranging transportation or giving local tips. They even have drivers who can take you around to explore nearby beaches and spots, which was super convenient.
One of my favorite little perks? The coffee shop inside the hotel where you can grab free coffee anytime. I spent a lot of time there, sipping on iced drinks and reading in the garden — it was honestly the perfect recharge.
The whole property feels cozy and nature-focused. Not flashy or crowded — just clean, peaceful, and full of tropical charm. Ideal for solo travelers or couples who want to slow down and soak in some nature.

Eeolhc2The Alika hôtel is so serene, perfect for pure relaxation, and Sally had a very good taste for decoration. It blends so nicely with the natural vibe, every corner’s calm. Shoutout to Stephen, our guest assistant, who was insanely attentive and made our trip so smooth. Channy’s morning yoga class was so relaxing too – the best way to start the day in this peaceful setting!
Breakfast was top quality, fresh and tasty, and the whole vibe’s just exactly what you need for a chill trip with friends. 10/10 recommend for anyone wanting a nature-focused, relaxing escape and plenty of activities.

MM352667****I found my dream accommodation at Footprints Luxury Guesthouse in Wanning! The 270-degree floor-to-ceiling windows transform the endless rice paddies into a flowing oil painting within the room—speechless with beauty. I especially loved the infinity pool connected to the rice fields; every photo opportunity was perfect. The rooms were minimalist and comfortable, with a five-star mattress and bathtub for complete relaxation. The butler's attention to detail was also incredibly thoughtful. If you want to escape the crowds and find healing and relaxation amidst the fields, this is absolutely the perfect choice!

DDizhexidongdongFacilities: Extremely well-equipped. The washing machine and refrigerator are absolutely essential in a tropical coastal city. It was so convenient to just toss our swimsuits into the washing machine after a dip in the sea every day. The guesthouse even provided small packets of laundry detergent, which was more than enough. It was also great to have a fridge for storing fruits and desserts we bought.
The TV is large and supports screen mirroring, which is fantastic. The air conditioning is powerful too.
We could use the pools and water park at the Legend Seaview Hotel, which is a great perk. Unfortunately, the water park wasn't open in June, but the pool was still very good.
Environment: Absolutely beautiful. The balcony view is exceptional, with double-sided sea views. I wanted to take photos every day, and it really lifted my spirits. For this price, this guesthouse offers incredible value.
Service: The housekeeper service is excellent. They respond instantly during working hours and are always ready to help. If something was missing or broken, repairs were done very promptly. An auntie came to clean every day, and the service quality was comparable to a hotel.
Hygiene: For a guesthouse, the hygiene was already very good. However, I have a few suggestions:
First, because the air by the sea is humid, the carpets in the bedroom tend to develop a musty smell if the windows aren't open for a while, and they're difficult to maintain. Dry flooring would be cleaner. It would be great if the carpet could be removed.
Second, upon check-in, we found a bit of old food residue in the refrigerator 😂. It would be good to improve the cleanliness of food storage areas like the fridge.
Third, perhaps because the entire building consists of apartments with kitchens, we found large cockroaches every day during our stay (for someone from the north, they truly seemed big). However, after asking the cleaning auntie to increase the dosage of cockroach killer, the ones we found afterward were basically dead.
Aside from these three points, I was quite satisfied with the guesthouse's hygiene.
Location: It's on Rongchuang Peninsula, where there are plenty of dining and shopping options. There are also many shuttle buses to the beach, which is very convenient. However, food and drinks on the island are a bit pricier. We rented an electric scooter and sometimes went to the village for meals and to buy fruit.

It's located in the village, but it's easy to reach out to the beach line just in 10-15 min walk or several minutes on a e-scooter that you can rent directly in the store. Welcome to negotiate for a better rent price 😁. 60 - ＞ 40 RMB. If you are lucky, you might can find a lower price in the village.
Many local food stores and convenience stores just outside of hotel.
For renting the surf board, I'd recommend go directly to the stands right on the beach (right side of the beach, closer the bridge that connects the island with living compound). 80-100 RMB per board for one time use (a couple of hours).
Absolutely must go to Kaya and other bars for late drinking and partying! You can meet lots of cool young Chinese people.

DDuocijujuepengyuyan！I was wandering around Riyue Bay and accidentally found a very good youth hostel, so I decided to stay there. The price was cheap and it was in Riyue Bay Village. The surrounding environment was very good. It was not noisy at night and was very quiet. There were many activities during the weekdays. You can go to the beach and play together. The boss and volunteers were very good. I made new friends here. We all sang and drank together by the fire. It was so nice.
