The service was excellent; they were very responsive and patient with all my questions. All the staff I encountered were friendly. I fell in love with surfing and will definitely be back. I was also very happy with my room on the sixth floor; it had a great sea view, was spacious, and very clean."

"Overall, I'm satisfied with the facilities. It's clear the owners had a broad vision when planning and building this place – it has everything you'd expect, plus some pleasant surprises, like a 50m standard swimming pool which is great for a swim. However, being a coastal building facing the wind, some of the exterior and interior decor show inevitable signs of aging. Perhaps a budget could be allocated in a few years for a comprehensive renovation. While the hardware is showing its age, the 'software' – the staff and operations team – are excellent. You can truly see their dedication to ensuring guest satisfaction. Our butler, Mile, communicated our needs in advance, and their service and guidance during our stay were impeccable. The hotel breakfast is also a major plus; you can tell the culinary team puts effort into providing good meals, with both staple and specialty dishes being excellent. After breakfast, I regretted not having tried the 498-yuan lawn buffet dinner last night. Members probably get a discount too (even my 'worthless' gold card should get 20% off, right?). Although the physical facilities are indeed showing their age, the excellent service more than makes up for it. I'd definitely come back again. It would be even more cost-effective if I could get it for under 1,000 yuan during the off-season."

"Before coming, I'd read reviews saying the Four Points was a bit outdated, but within my budget, I really loved its location – being able to walk straight to the beach right after stepping out. After arriving, I found the Four Points to be excellent! You can walk through the lobby directly to the beach, and the hotel itself is very photogenic. The omelets and noodles at breakfast were delicious. The hotel also has a thoughtful concierge who helped us arrange a photoshoot and tour packages. All in all, for this price point, the experience was fantastic."

"I was really satisfied with the hotel's environment and service. My only complaint is the late check-in time of 3 PM. It would have been perfect if we could have checked in a little earlier. Regarding the travel photography shop that collaborates with the hotel, I honestly don't recommend it, despite the 'Southern French romance and island passion of Dingge Shimei Bay' package (including 5 negatives and a 15-second video suitable for all ages). You get 5 free photos, but each additional photo costs 100 RMB. While the photoshoot itself was satisfactory, the photo selection process afterward was truly unpleasant. The customer service representative on the phone said that the photoshoot and selection process might not even be enough in two hours. However, I booked my photo selection for 6 PM, and the whole process took only 10 minutes. At first, the photo selector's attitude was decent. She showed me three package deals, which honestly were very expensive. For that price, I could have gone to a professional photography studio for personal portraits or hired an outside travel photographer. Later, as she saw me keeping fewer and fewer photos, her attitude started to change. She urged me to buy a package and not delete photos, asking why I was keeping so few. Because of her bad attitude, I didn't want to keep any photos. Then she started rushing me, saying she had other clients after me. I looked at the time; it was only 6:10 PM. I told her I hadn't taken up much of her time. This ruined my mood for photo selection. Later, there were 8 more photos I had to pay 300 RMB for. Fearing I wouldn't agree, she directly said, 'Then just pay 200.' She even tried to take my phone to get me to leave a positive review or something? I refused! Her attitude changed so quickly throughout the process. Since it was a complimentary travel photoshoot from the hotel, guests should have the right to keep as many photos as they want, rather than having to deal with their attitude! The next day, the hotel butler asked about my stay. I mentioned that the soundproofing was a bit poor and that the travel photo selection process was unpleasant. The butler and hotel manager helped resolve the issues, and I even received some bread as a gift during check-out, which I really appreciated! Thank you, little butler!"

"Our butler, Coco, provided exceptionally thoughtful service, promptly addressing all our needs with a gentle yet professional demeanor. The hotel's environment is absolutely stunning, with ocean views that create an incredible atmosphere. We visited right after the May Day holiday rush, and the front desk kindly upgraded us to a sea-view room – truly appreciated! Our stay was incredibly comfortable and pleasant. The pool is also fantastic and stays open until 10 PM. Since it's quite sunny all day, being able to swim in the evening was a huge plus. We didn't notice any of the dampness or outdated issues mentioned online, just a very slight hint of a humid scent. We'll definitely choose this place again for our next Hainan vacation!"

"A perfect place to just chill! I was so surprised by how close it is to the beach; you can hear the powerful waves as soon as you open the balcony door. A quick walk across the lawn from the pool takes you right to the sea. The best part is how uncrowded it is – so much quieter than the bustling Shimei Bay. Initially, I saw a lot of reviews complaining about slow buggy service, but personally, I found that you only really need a buggy for luggage when checking in or out. Otherwise, walking is perfectly fine; you can reach any part of the hotel in about 10 minutes. The buggies not only make you wait, but they also have one-way routes that sometimes take you on a big loop to your destination, picking up other guests along the way. It might not even be faster than walking. Plus, the hotel's garden landscaping is absolutely stunning, and walking with family often reveals little surprises that you might miss if you took the buggy. The room was decent and good value for money, though not particularly spectacular. Check-in was indeed very, very slow, but once you get through that, the experience gets progressively better. They offer the usual online concierge service, and 'Hamburger' from the front desk added me on WeChat beforehand. She was very prompt in responding to any requests during my stay – highly recommend! There are plenty of delivery options around, and the hotel delivers food to your room. However, I personally recommend walking out of the hotel for meals; it's so close! I usually walk more with my dog daily than I did here, it's incredibly leisurely. And seriously, this garden view never gets old. Two nights were definitely too short. I'll be back to try a sea-view room next time!"

"The hotel is huge with lovely views and lots of beautiful plants. The front desk even gave us complimentary coconut coffee cookies and a free room upgrade. There are also various kids' activities and a kids' playground, which my children absolutely loved. When we got tired, we could go for a swim. There are many pools, including hot springs, and an indoor heated pool for rainy days. The kids' pool has water slides and basketball hoops for children to play with. There are also villas, a farm, and a sports field nearby, perfect for a morning run! My twin room had an oversized bathtub, a huge balcony, and stunning, mesmerizing lake views. Breakfast is a buffet, and the restaurant is massive with an countless variety of delicious dishes. In the evening, you can watch the sunset at the hotel's easternmost sunset camp. With the last rays of sunlight on your face and wonderful music playing, it's the perfect end to a relaxing day."

"Facilities: The hotel is pretty much on par with a 4-star-plus standard. The room's bedding is very comfortable, and the swimming pool is quite large with good amenities. Hygiene: There was a minor incident with the room's cleanliness, which was actively resolved on the spot, so I won't dwell on it. I hope the hotel takes it seriously. Environment: It's close to the sea, within walking distance from the hotel. Nearby, there are small restaurants, a Lawson convenience store, and food delivery options, which is very convenient. The bar outside on the beach is excellent and worth experiencing. Service: The front desk check-in process still needs better training, but the restaurant staff were incredibly nice.
