I HAD EXTREMELY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE HERE. I even regretted staying for only one night. The location is flawless, you can find literally everything you need nearby (the attractions, miniso, coffee shops, diners and so on). The price is even more perfect. The staff is super welcoming and friendly, they guided me towards my room and showcased the amenities. The community is adorable. I liked a big tv screen in a lobby. The bedding is cozy and the bed is spacious enough. I pretty much appreciated the “love station” in the bathroom. This hostel remains lovely in my memories

The breakfast was plentiful, and the room, originally an Atour, was very comfortable and modern. What truly stood out was that I accidentally left my LV wallet in the room after checking out, which contained over 1000 cash. The cleaning staff showed incredible integrity, and the hotel's management is clearly top-notch. Within an hour of checking out, I received a call from the front desk notifying me about my lost item. I hope the hotel recognizes the housekeeping staff for their honesty and for upholding such a commendable spirit. Thank you!

This hotel was the best choice for our May Day trip to Luoyang! It's right in the heart of the old town, making it convenient to go anywhere. The attentive service was incredibly satisfying! This is truly the 'Pang Dong Lai' (a well-known, high-quality department store) of high-end hotels – the experience was absolutely perfect! I highly recommend all hotels across the country learn from and emulate this one! First off, they offer free pick-up and drop-off from the station! Even if the driver was temporarily unavailable, the hotel would help arrange a taxi and cover the cost. These little details really won me over! The room was super spacious, bright, and didn't feel cramped. The bedding was thoughtfully chosen, and you could even select your own pillow to suit different sleeping preferences – I relaxed instantly as soon as I lay down! Although the facilities are a little old, it didn't affect the experience at all. It was clean, tidy, and well-maintained, with great attention to detail. Any minor flaws were completely negligible. The breakfast was truly eye-opening, a proper Luoyang food feast! Authentic beef soup was available to our heart's content, and all local specialty snacks were covered. They even had fresh salmon of good quality. It was a perfect blend of Chinese and Western cuisine, offering incredible value for money – you could spend hours just enjoying breakfast! During our stay, we could also order complimentary snacks, pastries, and drinks. They provided warm hospitality and food throughout the day, so we could eat to our heart's content without even leaving the hotel! The staff were gentle and patient, always responsive, and we felt completely pampered throughout our stay. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Luoyang! I sincerely recommend it!

Whenever I travel, Atour is my first choice, and their service never disappoints. The rooms are clean and odor-free, with a sensible layout. The Atour Planet bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and the mattress offers great support, guaranteeing a restful night's sleep. They offer complimentary warm congee from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM, a thoughtful detail that's incredibly comforting. The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around and dining. Luoyang truly is a welcoming city with incredibly affordable prices. I highly recommend the beef noodle soup next to the hotel. The front desk staff even gave me a lovely little fan!

Decided to try out one of their unique room types. The room wasn't huge, but it was incredibly well-equipped. The little courtyard was so relaxing, and having a private hot spring tub was a real bonus! My child absolutely loved it. The butler was also fantastic, responding to messages 24/7 almost instantly. The front desk lady was very kind, and they even offered a pick-up and drop-off service. The staff member who drove us was handsome and had a great attitude – my husband even commented that his voice sounded like Wang Yibo's! Overall, a great experience and definitely worth checking out.

The overall environment is pretty good, and the breakfast at 68 is reasonably priced. The room had water and 4 complimentary drinks. The room itself was quite nice, and the staff were friendly. However, because the hotel is so large, finding the elevators was confusing. The map provided wasn't very clear. There should be more recognizable signs on the walls indicating room numbers and elevator directions. A concerning incident was when I couldn't find an elevator after walking around for a long time, so I decided to take the stairs down. To my surprise, the door on the first floor was locked. I had to go back up to the second floor to find an elevator. For safety, how can the bottom door of a fire escape be locked?

I stayed at the Huayang International Hotel in April 2017 when I came to Luoyang to see the peonies, and I was very impressed: excellent service, and the food on the second floor was fantastic (especially the braised carp, it was so delicious)... So when I returned to Luoyang, I chose the Huayang International Hotel again. Time has passed, and I can understand that the door frames in the room show some wear and tear. The receptionist at the front desk was very friendly and asked me to select 21 kinds of fruit (complimentary from the hotel), saying they would be delivered to my room in 40 minutes. I carefully made my selections, but to my surprise, a plate of fruit arrived less than 5 minutes after I got to my room. After unwrapping it and counting carefully, if you count each small tomato as one type, there were only about 12 varieties – nowhere near 21. I hadn't even checked 'pear,' so it seemed like this fruit was already prepared beforehand. I mentioned it to the front desk when I went out, and when I returned to my room before dinner, another plate was delivered, making it 21 varieties. However, aside from the bananas and small tomatoes, which were acceptable, the apples and nectarines tasted terrible – sour and astringent. I took one bite and had to throw them away, which was a waste and a shame. I suggest the hotel avoids playing number games and instead focuses on providing a few genuinely good-tasting fruits. Is that so hard? The room's cleanliness was excellent. For dinner, I wanted to order the braised Yellow River carp on the second floor, but I was told it needed to be reserved in advance and that all the carp were 4-5 jin (2-2.5 kg). There were only two of us; could we possibly finish a 4-5 jin fish? The next evening, I had a braised Yellow River carp, about 2 jin, at a small restaurant near Yingtiangate. Around 4 PM on my second day, a lovely staff member delivered a hand-drawn map of Luoyang's attractions. It showed the hotel's thoughtfulness, but wasn't it a bit late to deliver? The breakfast was quite abundant; the scallion pancakes were fragrant and tasty, but the beef pancakes were just average. The complimentary shuttle service to the high-speed train station was a thoughtful touch.

Although Dongshan Longyue isn't officially star-rated, my overall stay far exceeded expectations. The hotel rooms were meticulously clean, and being able to smoke in the room was a really thoughtful touch! The interior was tidy and odor-free, and both the bedding and bathroom facilities were spotless and hygienic, perfectly meeting all basic daily living needs. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its superb location. It's situated right inside the Longmen Grottoes scenic area, just 200 meters from the grottoes entrance. There's no need to rush in the morning or spend time commuting to and from the site; you can reach the attractions with just a short walk, saving a significant amount of travel time. This is especially convenient for visitors specifically coming to explore the grottoes. Star rating aside, the clean rooms combined with the unparalleled location made me feel like I was sharing a mountain with the Great Buddha.

Facilities: Excellent, very comfortable to use. Cleanliness: Spotless and thorough. Environment: Good, transportation is fairly convenient, though it's a bit of a distance from Yingtian Gate, haha. Service: Very attentive and caring, especially the manager, who was friendly and enthusiastic. We stayed for three days and got to know them well; they accommodated all our requests, thumbs up! 👍 Additionally, the second floor offers mutton hotpot dining service during the day, which is very convenient. If you haven't had a chance to eat by the time you return to the hotel in the evening, there are dishes available to order, making it very worry-free!

This hotel boasts an excellent central location, close to both Yingtians Gate and Lijing Gate. The subway station is conveniently located just over 100 meters away, making travel incredibly easy. The front desk staff were very attentive; they called us around noon to ask about our arrival time and proactively arranged two connecting rooms for us, also inquiring if we had any special requests. The room's cleanliness was quite good, and it featured a smart speaker (Xiao Du). The buffet breakfast was also very generous with a wide variety of options, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The only improvement I would suggest is for the bathroom's wet and dry separation – adding a door to better separate the water would be perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.
