"Service: The service was acceptable, but it didn't meet the standards of a high-end hotel and fell short compared to other hotels on this trip. Cleanliness: The interior was relatively clean, though there was some dust and lint in certain corners. Ambiance: There was construction behind the hotel, and the courtyard had foot reflexology services, etc., which made it very noisy. Facilities: The facilities definitely didn't live up to high-end standards. I'd suggest downgrading its rating; it would be more fitting for a comfort-level hotel. It's not that the facilities are old, but rather that they're missing – for example, there's no wardrobe in the room, the bathroom doesn't have a wet/dry separation and lacks a door or curtain for physical isolation, and the laundry room only had an unknown brand of detergent without a lid or any instructions. I recommend downgrading it to a 3-star (comfort-level) rating, which would be appropriate for the hotel's conditions. A 4-star (high-end) rating is completely overstated and simply doesn't meet the standards for a 4-star hotel."

"This B&B's location is fantastic! A 5-minute walk left takes you straight to Luoyi Ancient City, and a 15-minute walk right leads to Lijing Gate, making sightseeing and dining incredibly convenient. It's a renovated old house with a Chinese courtyard, where every step reveals a beautiful, ancient charm. Each floor has unique and thoughtful designs, and the third-floor terrace truly sets the mood. When the lights come on at night, it genuinely feels like you're in an ancient town. The owner's service was incredibly warm and helpful; when my child suddenly felt unwell in the middle of the night, they responded promptly and caringly. There's a parking lot in the back, and it's easy to get a ride-share in the morning. However, in the afternoon and evening, with more tourists, ride-shares can get stuck in the narrow alleyways. It's a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, allowing you to experience the authentic life of an old alley."

"This is a rare find – a truly excellent hotel. We booked 3 rooms and they were all upgraded for free, which was a pleasant surprise. The stay was very comfortable, and we slept wonderfully. What was even more unexpected was the complimentary bottled water available on every floor by the elevators, which made the hotel feel incredibly welcoming, just like home. The surrounding area is very convenient for food; there's a good restaurant next door, a few snack shops across the street, and even street vendors where you can buy fresh cucumbers."

"The room was very comfortable and clean, with soft bedding. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around, with a small shopping area directly opposite. The hotel service was also great; the staff were all very welcoming. Delicious Afternoon Tea Buffet: The afternoon tea was also fantastic. [Orvis Fitness] Choose between Thai Boxing or Personal Training: The coach was very good."

"This hotel is ideally located right by the exit of Luoyi Ancient City, and only 1.2 kilometers from Lijinmen, passing through十字街 (Shizi Street). There's a subway station about 300-400 meters away, making it super convenient to get around. The hotel itself is clean and tidy. Even though it's close to a scenic area, the soundproofing is excellent, so it's very quiet. They offer two types of pillows, including a latex one, and I slept really well during my two-night stay. The staff are wonderful and very helpful; they even assisted with my luggage and gave me a welcome gift upon check-in. Free bottled water and yogurt are also available. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Luoyang. It's excellent!"

"Location: Very convenient, with the subway right outside the hotel and plenty of dining options nearby. The surrounding area is very pleasant. Room: The larger room types can accommodate a queen bed and a single bed, which is great for families. The room decor is simple but the facilities are convenient, especially the well-designed bathroom and shower area. Contrary to what I read online, I didn't find the shower pressure to be weak at all. Service and Hygiene: The service was very prompt. The extra duvet I requested in advance was already in the room when we arrived. Mineral water was freely available in the elevator area, and laundry detergent was also provided – these are all very thoughtful details. The cleanliness was also excellent. Breakfast: Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, half an hour earlier than most hotels, which is very accommodating for guests heading to attractions early or catching an early high-speed train. The breakfast selection was also quite varied and the quality was good. Overall, I highly recommend it. Even during a short holiday, it offers good value for money and is worth staying at. Two minor suggestions: Firstly, the room lighting is controlled by a single switch. It would be helpful if it could be differentiated slightly, as having all the lights on at once can be a bit wasteful sometimes. Secondly, it would be great if some folding drying racks could be provided."

"Luoyang in spring is absolutely beautiful, and if you're passing through, you *must* come see the flowers. The guesthouse owner was incredibly welcoming, contacting us in advance to reserve a parking spot which was very close to the guesthouse. They were so thoughtful, recommending lots of great local restaurants nearby. The guesthouse itself is super close to Luoyi Ancient City, just a short walk away. Our room was also spotless and smelled fresh, which we really appreciated. We were very satisfied and will definitely be back in April during peak bloom!"

"Our stay at Qichi Riverside B&B in Luoyang was truly wonderful! The location is great, very close to Luoyi Ancient City, and the surroundings are beautiful and quiet. The B&B host was incredibly kind and thoughtful. They helped us hang our clothes to dry and even lent us their phone number to order takeout 📱. Every day, there was hot coffee and milk tea available, and before we left, they even gave us a small gift. It was full of warm hospitality ❤️."

They also provide complimentary bottled water, which is great value for money. It's a perfect place to stay for travel or business trips, especially during the flower season. I highly recommend it.
