There were too many people eating breakfast, the breakfast was just average, there was no this, no that.

BBilginWow! Amazing, from on all points. If you have early flights, this is the place to be. Is just 4 min walk, go second level (departure level), go out, walk over the bridge (you can see Radisson Blu when you out). The rooms are above expectations, especially if you book the Suite (if you have family, book the suite), easy can accompany 4. The breakfast is quite well, all nice things are available. For dinner try the „Circle“ restaurant, I was so surprised about the food there, highest quality, at reception area. What is also nice to be mentioned, you have a nice 24 hour self paid counter there, where u can get drinks and sweets and some other stuff. I will always try to be there whenever I have early flights.

2200908****The hotel felt very secure. The lobby doors close at 11 PM, and you need your room key to get in. It's quite close to the U1 subway line, and the U3/U1 lines share the same station, though the exits are a bit far apart. The hotel service was excellent, the bedding was very comfortable, and the room had plenty of space. There were also utensils and a stove for cooking. The air conditioning wasn't very cold in the summer, which I've also experienced in other parts of Germany; it felt more like a fan.

ににょむI stayed here for three nights during my 22-night trip across Europe.
First of all, the location of the inn is very close to the subway station, so it is very accessible. There is only one subway line, but that can't be helped as most stations in Hamburg only have one line. It is a direct line from Hamburg South Station (located in the central station), and it is also close to the station where you can transfer, so it was not inconvenient. You can walk to the warehouse district from the inn, and you can take a train to the pier where the boat to the theater departs and the station nearest to the fish market that is held on Sundays.
The inn is very clean, spacious, and the kitchen facilities are excellent.
The fact that it has a washing machine is a big plus (although the drying function was poor so I ended up drying the clothes in the room).
There is no bathtub, only a shower. I think this is normal for a European hotel.
The only thing I regret is that, although it can't be helped, the room unlocking system was down, so I had to call someone at the front desk every time I wanted to enter my room (they handled it with a smile, but I felt bad because I was in and out of the inn so often)

SSzeto Chun PangI have stayed in Intercity hotels in many place in Germany. Their locations are super, which are quite near to the train station. This time the one in Hamburg Bambek is also up to my satisfaction. Good location again and the room is spacious and well equipped including a kettle. The receptionist is very friendly and polite. I am certainly that I will choose their hotels in my next visit.

TTravelling explorerThe holiday Inn ticked all the boxes so I kept coming back for more by rebooking day after day with added discounts on trip.com. A Good night sleep in a comfy double bed after a late night sauna on 7th floor after a day of exploring the tourist attractions of Hamburg thanks to the convenient train station 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Friendly staff and a tasty all you can eat, breakfast buffet sets you up for a day of exploring Hamburg Harbour and other tourist attractions. Highly recommended.

GGuest UserNo issues with the hotel itself and the service (both are excellent), the only downside is the location. Nothing particularly interesting in the surrounding area and the construction made it tedious to get to but on the plus size, the train is a quick 10 minute walk away.

CClaudia ZiemsOverall, the hotel gives a modern and appealing impression. The interior design feels contemporary and well-maintained, and the general cleanliness throughout the hotel was acceptable. The room amenities are adequate and functional. The very comfortable king-size bed is a particular highlight. Even with the window open on the 5th floor, the noise level was pleasant and totally acceptable.
However, there's room for improvement regarding the practical outfitting of the room and bathroom. Six hangers are rather few for two people, and there's a lack of additional hooks or other options for hanging clothes or towels. In the bathroom, and especially in the shower, storage space is either completely absent or insufficient. The toilet could also be noticeably cleaner with consistent use of cleaner and a brush.
The breakfast was generally sufficient, but unfortunately, on Sunday, it was significantly below the standard of a 4-star hotel. By 8:30 AM, key items like scrambled eggs, tomato-mozzarella, and salmon were already unavailable. An hour later, eggs, Nutella, and grilled vegetables were completely missing. Apparently, at times, no clean cups were available as they were still in the dishwasher. The service was mostly handled by a young employee who, despite being very diligent, couldn't manage to clear and reset tables quickly enough on his own.
Unfortunately, there were also hygiene issues with the tableware: some tea glasses had visible tea stains, and cutlery, plates, and bowls were not always completely clean.
Overall, a modern hotel with good room comfort, but significant weaknesses in breakfast service and cleanliness in the dining area.
