Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 2km from Tainan and 7km from Tainan Airport. This hotel is located near many of Tainan's attractions including Tainan Art Museum Building 2, Koxinga's Shrine and Zheng Chenggong Ancestral Temple. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing.

Excellent
DDesmond Shiu ChingHotel is super stylish, fitting in with the retro, yet trendy vibe of Tainan. From the lobby with LPs to the the 8th floor, all the amenities and thoughtful design was top notched. On the 8th floor, you have a small functional kitchen to eat your street food. It also has a free arcade which brought back childhood memories....Pac Man, Street Fighter. We also used the laundry facilities and the free 24 hr coffee machine. The vending machines were filled with local drinks. Whilst the room itself was on the small size, it was tastefully decorated with a large sitting area (despite its small size). What was super thoughtful were the booklets describing all the streetfood stalls in the area, the owners stories and a newspaper which profiled some of the owners. The sweets and the filter coffee and paper disposable and eco friendly plates, bowls and cutlery as well as kettle were the magic touches. It just goes to show that they thought about all the little things to make this place unique.
We had a drainage issue in the shower but it was fixed immediately showing the responsiveness of the staff. Whilst perhaps a little inexperience, the staff were friendly, eager to help and extremely sincere. Post checking out, I wanted to point out that we were granted the use of the facilities on the 8th floor which allowed us to shower, have a place to rest and enjoy the hotel of the rest of our afternoon. Overall, it was a wonderful stay!

Ppathfinder1We had a great stay at Kindness Day Hotel! It’s small but sleek and modern, with a cozy vibe. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially for us English speakers, which made everything so easy.
The lounge with unlimited coffee and cookies was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. You get a free drink ticket each night for beer or juice, which is a nice perk. Just be sure to use them the same day as they expire. We didn’t get a chance to use ours!
The breakfast buffet was decent, not amazing, but still a nice option to have. With a bus stop and bike station right outside and plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby, it’s a super convenient and welcoming place to stay. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserThe location is perfect, you can walk to the main attractions. Also, it's so convenient for public transport (buses and trains).
The room was fine, the bathroom had mould and there was a water leak under the sink, they sorted that out leaving a towel on the floor(it wasn't a big leak tho). Didn't have any issues with the noise, there wasn't any during my stay.
The staff didn't give me any information about the city or what to do close to the place(I didn't require either but it'd be nice to be offered it). They were quick sorting out my issue with the sink.
Pleasant stay, I'd recommend it 100%
All the signs are in Mandarin, be aware of that. Google lens can fix that🤓

CChristiongChosen this hotel as it was recommended in xiaohongshu. Wasn't disappointed with the quality of the hotel. Only the fact that if would to walk from train station will need around 15 minutes. Other than that price is competitive

Vvictor zhongThe overall service quality at the hotel was excellent. The front desk staff were friendly and polite, proactively reached out to guests, and their responses were always prompt and helpful.
The hotel's surroundings were quiet and elegant. Its prime location meant it wasn't impacted by nearby buildings, and there was ample space for relaxation nearby.
The room facilities were well-maintained, and the cleanliness was excellent. However, the bathtub was a bit old and had some cracks, though it didn't pose any immediate danger.
The bathroom's glass door could benefit from frosted film to make it more visible, reducing the chance of collisions, or to enhance user privacy! Moreover, the privacy curtain was installed outside the bathroom, which was not very convenient to use.
For the extra bed, an open-style screen could be added to provide more personal space and privacy, and minimize direct sightlines with the main bed.
The breakfast quality was very satisfactory, especially the buffet.

GGuest UserThe accommodation is clean and tidy, with convenient transportation. You can walk to the morning market downstairs (open until 12:00 noon) for local food. The traditional market has traditional ********* meals and breakfast, etc. Those who want to queue can follow the trend, and those who don’t have time to queue can use their own food radar. It is not easy to step on landmines. This is the real life in Tainan. The nearby Tainan Cultural Center is within walking distance, where you can enjoy high-quality cultural and artistic activities inside and young people practicing dance outside. It is a feast for the eyes, whether active or quiet.

MMary125Stayed in 2 different rooms. The 1st day room was awful on 9th floor. The bed was super hard like spring mattress with no give especially when sleeping sideways. The bathroom was old and dirty bathtub and the carpet was icky. Asked for a room change as I can't stand the room and I'm a pretty tolerant person. Luckily they offered 7th floor room, much better and probably newer with electronic card key, fresher cleaner bathroom and comfier bed. The 2 rooms has the same room size.

GGuest UserA bit expensive as compared to other hotels of the same category. Surprisingly, when the personnel says that they do not clean the rooms unless you ask, it means that they do not remove the garbage bags as well. This is not sanitary at all in a country where you are asked to throw the toilet paper in the garbage bins. We tried asking the staff but they were nowhere to be found.
The big windows are a nice touch but when the weather reaches more than 30 degrees, it makes the room very hot.
The air condition broke during our stay (we saw the ceiling panels removed) and no one informed us.
The sound proofing is plain bad.
The location is good.
Overall, although we did get the room earlier than expected on our first day, this hotel is not worth the price.

GGuest UserThe front desk was served by young ladies, all were very courteous and helpful. They did make sure that you had a pleasant stay.
As for hardware, the room was basic but clean. The room was bigger in size than what we expected. Toiletry supplies are limited.
