Having a parking space is perfect for travelers driving in. The room was comfortable, very private, and super clean, with all the amenities you could need. I stayed for three days, and before my trip even ended, I'd already recommended it to friends visiting Tainan in July! 😊

Guest UserThe stay experience was great☺️ The staff were very friendly. There was also a large bookcase in the room. It was very comfortable to curl up on the sofa and read a book on a rainy day.

Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos, only a video posted on Instagram.
I stayed in room 204, a double room.
1. If you mind the bed facing the door, please consider this carefully.
(There are back curtains blocking the view.)
2. The mini-fridge is very light; be careful not to move it too much.
3. There are two trash cans: one on the sofa and one next to it in the toilet. I asked if I could flush toilet paper down the toilet, and the guesthouse said the roll-top toilet paper in the bathroom is allowed. The trash cans are small, oval-shaped, as you can see in the picture.
4. If you run out of the roll-top toilet paper, there are supplies in the cabinet under the sink. There's one roll-top and one pull-out roll.
5. The bathroom uses a soft water system; there's a sticker next to the mirror explaining this. It's quite comfortable to shower with. (Mainly explaining that soft water has moisturizing effects and makes the lather richer.)
The hairdryer is great. There's an indoor circulation system next to the sink mirror that you can press, such as ventilation and drying. This is very useful for people who have been experiencing heavy rain these past few days. (By the way, if your shoes get wet, you can tell the front desk you'd like to bring them up to dry.)
The floor mat is on the bathroom shelf, and the bath towels are in the cabinet to the right of the sink.
6. There are one electrical outlet on each side of the bed, two next to the sink, and one next to the refrigerator. You basically won't have a problem with not having enough outlets. If you're tall enough, there are actually three more on the ceiling.
7. Opening the curtains from the bed doesn't offer much of a view; it's just a typical residential window view.
8. There are beer and beverage machines and candy/cookies on the first floor, but I didn't touch them, so I can't comment. I think there's a recreation room on the fourth floor? I didn't go up there either.
9. The elevator is small, a rectangular space.

JOEYW紫月The hotel's design style is great, and the place is very spacious. The room is also large, the bed is comfortable, and the pillows are good. There's an open-plan bathroom with an island sink and a bathtub for soaking. Everything is perfect, the only thing to complain about is the toilet paper – it's too rough and cheap; if you use too much force, your skin will peel off!!!

Choosing accommodation for business trips often comes down to various factors. It could be value for money, the story behind a guesthouse, or perhaps just something I once heard. Sometimes, it's simply about completing a puzzle in my mind.
This time, I was drawn by the promise of a rich breakfast the next day. As a solo traveler, I got a double breakfast, and whenever thoughts of dieting crept in, I reminded myself of the golden rule: 'live in the moment.' After all, 'tomorrow will be better,' no matter what.
I had a wonderful experience at 'Jia Hotel' before. Besides its history as a traditional garment factory, it maintained its retro terrazzo floors and the original wooden staircase handrails, perfectly satisfying my longing for an old-world charm.
The dining tables cleverly incorporated sewing machine designs. As I ate breakfast, my feet rested on the pedal, and with every bite and foot movement, it felt like I was completing a shared ritual where past and present converged.
There are many old shops in the vicinity, each brimming with cultural charm. Passing under the arcade, I heard the melody of Japanese songs. Old folks sat on wicker chairs watching the street; they weren't open for business but rather seemed to be guarding their old homes, immersed in the slow passing of time amidst the music.
Perhaps, what I've been writing about all along isn't just the journey, but rather those disappearing scenes of life. To preserve them in words, in a way, leaves a bit of warmth along my path.

Overall experience is great, I arrived early and the counter allowed me to keep my luggage before check-in. The only downside is the location towards public transport, you'll have to walk at least 10 minutes to any bus station. The view in front of the building is good for morning/evening walk along the riverside.

The location is convenient, but this was the first time I encountered a hotel where luggage storage was only allowed until 3 PM. I had to take my bags to the train station lockers before 3 PM, which was very inconvenient. The next day, when I tried to store my luggage again, I had to ask the front desk three times before getting a response. We were the only guests there at the time, so I'm not sure if they were just pretending not to hear me or what. The pillows and bed were quite firm, making it hard to sleep. There's no fridge in the room; you have to use the communal fridge on the first floor. On the bright side, the room was spacious and had a small sofa, but I won't be staying here again.

The hotel's overall design blends French retro with modern aesthetics, creating a very stylish and photogenic space in every corner.
The staff were friendly and professional, making us feel right at home from the moment we checked in. Our room was clean and comfortable, the bed was soft and provided a great night's sleep, and the quiet, relaxing environment allowed us to fully recover from our travels.
The most delightful surprise was the live piano performance during breakfast. Paired with the exquisite and delicious food, it added a wonderful sense of occasion and made our mornings even more enjoyable.

“Our family had an amazing stay! The hotel was very family-friendly, with spacious and clean rooms that were perfect for both parents and kids. The staff were kind and welcoming, and they made our children feel special throughout our stay. The breakfast had plenty of options for everyone, and the kids enjoyed the pool and play area. It made our family trip relaxing and memorable. Highly recommended for families traveling with children!”
Family-friendly reviews often mention kid amenities, spacious rooms, breakfast choices, and activities because those details matter most for family stays
