AAmigowoThis hotel is the most delightful surprise I've ever experienced in decades. The environment is like a paradise, and just a 3-minute walk from the doorstep is Tainan's famous Anping Old Street and Anping Fort. The rooms are incredibly spacious and uniquely designed, and the breakfast and afternoon tea are comparable to a five-star hotel. It's perfect for vacationers; a three-day stay will surely surprise you. Highly recommended!

AAihkThis hotel is surrounded by many nice local restaurants and shops - I especially loved the wet market ”You-Ai Market” next to hotel, where local people buy vegetables and seafood, ready-to-go traditional foods. Some stalls were also run by young locals offering hand-dripped coffee, crepes, tapas, cocktails etc. It's a place you can have mixed food culture. Our twin room was specious and clean. I stayed with friends as a group trip & we enjoyed going to 3/F free guest lounge. They have a fully equipped kitchen & large terrace you can use any time to relax. Highly recommended hotel.

GGuest UserGot a single room with a private bathroom, and wow! After a lovely two weeks in Narita, Busan, Seoul, Macau, Taipei, and Kaohsiung, I never thought that Tainan would be my coziest stay, but it really was! My room was so spacious and clean, which was so great, since I tend to be a bit of a hypochondriac about hotel sanitation. Spending my days wandering around Tainan and then coming home to the Red House, turning on a kdrama on the flat-screen TV, and drifting off to sleep on my comfy lil futon, genuinely might've been the highlights of my trip :) Great job, please keep it up!!!

GGuest UserGreat location and interesting old house. It was as shown in the pictures. The host is very friendly and recommended a few places to go and explained the house. He could have given more detailed instructions on the car park, which is closeby but you need to park in the area 62 to be closeby to the house. It’s a long car park so it’s seems far from where you go in but it’ll work out! The car park right next to the house is very expensive. The house faces towards the car park and the street to the motorcycles are a bit noisy. Water and cups are provided by the hotel. Trip.com didn’t tell the owner my email or phone number so he couldn’t contact me and there was no one for checkin. We called him and he came quickly, just would be nicer for everyone if he had those details. Otherwise I recommend proactively contacting him.

少少林華I stayed in this hotel in this April, which is a wonderful experience. Thus, I brought my family (total 4) to stay in this hotel again. Unfortunately, the experience of this time is not pleasant. First of all, as i m the IHG member, I am entitled to have welcome drink. Last time, we can drink in the lobby lounge, but this time, the waitress declined us to take the drink at the lounge and requested us to take away the drinks. Whats ridiculous?! The welcome drink is offered by the hotel, but i m not wrlcome to drink at the lounge. Secondly, the cleaning service is not pleasant, two cups in my room have not been cleaned. Thirdly, the food serving of beef soup is very unsatisfactory. I don't understand why I requested to have more soup and got a black face from the chef. I spent over US$600 for two nights, but seems not be welcomed from the lounge nor restaurant. I would not recommend others to stay in this luxury but not welcome hotel

The location couldn’t be better—right across from Tainan Park, it’s peaceful yet still within walking distance to the train station and local eateries. The atmosphere of the inn feels both cozy and refreshing, surrounded by greenery that makes you forget you’re in the middle of the city. The room was spotless and thoughtfully designed, with natural light, soft bedding, and just the right touch of simplicity. Every detail showed the owner’s care—from the locally roasted coffee in the common area to the warm welcome when I arrived. I especially loved the small garden space where you can relax with a cup of tea in the afternoon. What stood out most was the hospitality. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready with local travel tips and food recommendations. Their genuine kindness made me feel like I was visiting an old friend rather than staying at a hotel. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Tainan. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates comfort, warmth, and a touch of nature in the heart of the city.

The breakfast has everything available you could want, although it is not necessarily the highest quality. I would definitely stay here again.

GGuest Userthe penthouse is just nice to fit 7 pax of us, including the extra mattress for a kid. We love the penthouse which we have our own hot spring bathtub and steam room. The facilities are good, they have public and private facilities pools. The hotel opens the pools to outsiders also, so it might be quite busy and crowded for the public pools facility. Please prepare some snacks or instant food before you go to stay as there is no convenient shops or mini market nearby. you have to walk about 20mins to go to the nearby town. The reception sells instant noodle cups but always out of stock. But there is restaurant in the hotel. The hotel is not new but still good and manageable, they are still practiced the old system which is using hand written record for guests booking. There is no bell boy to help you on the luggage, we have to carry one by one to our hotel room, which car is not reachable to your door steps. And the road to your room is slopes. Hotel staff services are just okay, not very hospitality impressions for us as foreigners. We love the public pools, there are over 10+ different types of hot spring pools in the hotel.

小小玉菜An absolutely fantastic experience! The accommodation was superb. They offer complimentary drinks and snacks on the ground floor. Every staff member was incredibly friendly! Breakfast was decent. The price was very affordable, offering excellent value for money! I would definitely return. They also have a designated parking lot, and it's free!
