GGuest UserStayed for two nights.
Had some issue with our hotel room key. The staff were very proactive trying to resolve the issue, but it was only till the 2nd day of our stay that was resolved.
There was no compensation for the incovenience caused as we only had 1 phisical key for 4 ppl.
Having said that, the rest of the service was very nice, would be happy to go back again.

LLim567Jai Chateau Hotel and Hostels is strategically located in Tainan, with many local food options nearby—especially famous Tainan beef soup. It is also close to popular tourist attractions such as Chihkan Tower, Shennong Street, and the National Museum of Taiwan Literature. Tainan Railway Station is within walking distance, about 800 m away, which makes getting around very convenient.
The hotel is very suitable for solo travellers. The room is clean and well-organized, with six people sharing one room separated by curtains, providing good privacy. Both the room and shared bathroom can only be accessed with an access card, ensuring safety and privacy. The shared bathroom is well equipped and even has a Dyson hair dryer, which is a nice surprise.
There is a common space where guests can eat their food and relax. The hotel also provides free tea-time snacks and supper from 3 pm to 9 pm, featuring tasty Taiwanese-style food. Additionally, there is a game area where guests can play and socialize. Overall, it’s a comfortable and thoughtful stay, especially for solo travellers.

JJOEYW紫月The hotel's design style is great, and the place is very spacious. The room is also large, the bed is comfortable, and the pillows are good. There's an open-plan bathroom with an island sink and a bathtub for soaking. Everything is perfect, the only thing to complain about is the toilet paper – it's too rough and cheap; if you use too much force, your skin will peel off!!!

GGuest UserWe enjoyed our stay at this family friendly hotel. The room was a bit smaller than expected but had all the amenities we could wish for. We enjoyed a separate room for our preschool aged children. The hotel provided an ice cream bar, drinks including beer and juice, late night snacks and of course breakfast.
The kids enjoyed the traffic playground a 5 min walk from the hotel.

AAnonymous UserThe nightstand had a strong odor that was really pungent and kept wafting into my nose while I was sleeping. I'm guessing it's new, and I hope the hotel can do something to air it out 🤣. Otherwise, the location is excellent, it's clean and tidy, and very convenient for getting around.

GGuest UserLovely experience staying in the Tuscany room with private hot spring. Hotel set in pretty gardens. Good breakfast with loads of choice. Spa ticket included was great - spent several hours there after check-out (towels & swim cap provided, free lockers).
Evening meal was a bit limited - not everything on menu available & not many guests eating there.
Overall, great place. Would recommend. Don’t worry about the reviews that say it’s a bit ‘tired’ - it’s not brand spanking new but it’s nothing off putting.

張張景絜The hotel lobby appeared to be undergoing renovations. The elevator was making strange noises due to a malfunction and wasn't even shut down, which was quite unsettling. The facilities were a major letdown. Considering this hotel is already one of the pricier options in Guanzi Ridge, the quality really shouldn't be this low.
However, the room itself was truly impeccable. It boasted large floor-to-ceiling windows, and both the hot spring water and the shower heated up quickly. Overall, it was quite good.
Breakfast was the most pleasant part of my stay. Dining amidst the forest was a fantastic experience.

小小玉菜An absolutely fantastic experience! The accommodation was superb. They offer complimentary drinks and snacks on the ground floor. Every staff member was incredibly friendly! Breakfast was decent. The price was very affordable, offering excellent value for money! I would definitely return. They also have a designated parking lot, and it's free!

YyanxianGreat location, right across from the train station. There's a 7-Eleven and FamilyMart nearby. The front desk staff, especially the lady, was very helpful and even assisted us with getting a taxi. Very convenient!
