Tainan Hotels with Wifi

Stayed for two nights. Had some issue with our hotel room key. The staff were very proactive trying to resolve the issue, but it was only till the 2nd day of our stay that was resolved. There was no compensation for the incovenience caused as we only had 1 phisical key for 4 ppl. Having said that, the rest of the service was very nice, would be happy to go back again.

What an absolutely wonderful slow-paced trip! I checked out on May 2nd and couldn't find my watch. I was about to give up, but then I mentioned it to the front desk when I was leaving, asking them to keep an eye out and help me search. To my surprise, just before I got into my car, the front desk attendant called to tell me they had found it! I'm so grateful! And also, the late-night snacks were practically a full dinner – all the dishes were fantastic and delicious.

This guesthouse is a renovated old house that has retained its original structure, with a modern minimalist interior design. While it doesn't have luxurious amenities, given the limitations of an old house renovation, its cleanliness and comfort are more than satisfactory. The space is indeed not large, so it might feel a bit cramped if you have a lot of luggage or large suitcases. It's more suitable for light travelers. If you're simply looking for a comfortable place to sleep for a night in Tainan city, this place is perfectly fine.

Have booked 3 rooms for our family trip, and overall had a pleasant stay. The service staff were friendly and helpful, and the Level 6 lounge was a great spot for us to relax and spend time together. The location was convenient and easy to get to, with a 711 just across the street. The rooms were generally fine, though we noticed that one of them was quite different from the others, maybe because it’s built near the staircase (?) It didn’t impact our stay too much, but it was a bit disappointing to see that it felt more worn and less well-maintained. B

They didn’t change the bedsheets before we checked in. When we were about to go to bed, we noticed stains and hair strands on the bedsheets. We called the number provided at Level 1 because there were no staff at the front desk. Thankfully, someone came to replace the bedsheets, but the experience had already made us very uncomfortable. The only solution the hotel could offer that night was to replace the bedsheets. They did offer to move us to another room the following day after I lodge a complaint to trip.com, but by then we didn’t want to go through the hassle of packing and unpacking everything again. This wasn’t our first stay at this hotel, but it will definitely be our last. The hotel’s response to my review was simply that they had changed the bedsheets. However, I have photos and videos clearly showing the stains and hair strands on the bedsheets, so I’ll leave them here for everyone to make their own judgment. I do want to give credit to Trip.com for their excellent customer service. They followed up closely on our complaint and offered a small amount of compensation, which I appreciated.

The morning shift receptionist, Ms. Zhang, was incredibly helpful and thorough in her introduction. They offered a complimentary hot spring pass with the room booking, which I used at noon. Breakfast was also included and quite substantial. They even threw in a discount voucher for cosmetics! The Guanziling mud mask alone was half the price of the cosmetics voucher. You can check the price of the cosmetics yourself and you'll see what a great deal it was!

The staff were really friendly, and the facilities were great too. We had a mud hot spring on the balcony, so we didn't even have to go downstairs to soak. It made for a very relaxing and enjoyable day.

Finders Hotel is a decent option - it has a great location and great amenities, but is not very clean. The location is very convenient, as it is within walking distance of many historic sites, museums, famous restaurants, etc. The hotel provides a generous spread of free snacks, soft drinks, and hot/cold water dispenser on the 2nd floor lounge, which was really nice! The hotel is pretty modern, but the bathroom layout was kind of strange. There is a tub, but the shower is still a wet bathroom, because the shower head is not inside the tub, but across the toilet. We booked this hotel specifically because we saw it has a tub and mistakenly thought it was a dry bathroom. Lastly, the hotel is not the cleanest. There is mold along the tile lines and on the shower curtain in the bathroom, and the carpet is a bit dirty.

Very convenient location, within walking distance of many popular attractions. Service was average - the staff were not particularly friendly or polite. The bathroom and overall room were clean enough, except for the bedding. I found several clear-ish white stains on my bedding. Although they were dried stains, I still didn't want to sleep with them. When I went to the front desk to ask for new sheets, they didn't apologize at all, but did give me a clean blanket. Except for that, the stay was fine.
