"This place is great! It was my first time staying in a youth hostel, and since I was on a solo trip, I never expected to meet so many people from all over the world in the lobby. We chatted late into the night, I didn't even want to sleep – everyone had such interesting stories. The hostel itself is also very good, clean, and you can make your own bed with fresh sheets. Plus, there's free water and tea bags. It's really good, really good! If I come to Almaty again, I'd definitely choose to stay here because staying in a hostel lets you meet all sorts of people."

GGuest UserA new hotel located in a residential area of Soviet-era buildings. We needed a hotel near the Sairan bus station. There's a store, a pastry shop, several fast food restaurants, and a cafe within 5 meters of the entrance, but I didn't see any places to stroll. There's a beautiful view of the snow-capped mountains during the day. A pleasant young man checked us in quickly. Everything in the room was fresh and working. This four-star hotel had the whitest towels. Before this, we stayed at one hotel in Tashkent and three in Malaysia. The terry robes were also like new. A good shower, an electric heated toilet, heated floors, and an expensive sink. Thick, clean carpeting in the room and hallway. A French balcony and a well-stocked minibar. The bed was comfortable. Two comments: the pillows and the room decor (everything is beige, looks depressing and cheap, although it's clear that several hundred thousand rubles were spent on the bathroom). The walls in the room and the curtains don't match the bathroom. We didn't have breakfast; we left early. I saw the cafe - it's beautiful.

ССергей АлкинI liked a hotel that booked on the recommendation of colleagues. It was convenient in terms of location to the workplace. Yes, it was not difficult to get to any place of the city from it. Staff is polite and ready to help. It is clear that I had the simplest room (third floor), but there are still a couple of moments that you need to know who wants to settle there. The bathroom is spacious, but there is no hook or hanger to hang a towel or clothes. The towel dryer is located above the toilet and it is not very convenient to place the towel. It was surprising that no trash was taken from the room. And after 3 days of stay, the cleaning was not done. As explained to me, I had to leave the key and inform the staff that wouldn't mind if cleaning was done in my absence. To be honest, I haven't met with such a rule anywhere. M.B. This is the special rule of this hotel, but no one said about it when the settlement was made. Like my colleagues who settled in other rooms. Since I didn't order food in the room (and there is no special food room in the hotel), I can't appreciate its quality. There is always a possibility to order coffee at the respiratory. In general I can put a solid 4-co.

TT.Y.DaigoI stayed for about a week. I met several staff members, and they were all polite and kind, making my stay very comfortable. The location is also excellent. Considering the services, facilities, and location, I think the price is surprisingly low. However, there was no remote control for the air conditioner, and the only solution was to open the window. Of course, I believe that they would have a different solution during harsher seasons.

GGuest UserI’m not usually one to write bad reviews, but I’m doing this out of good intentions. For tourists, so they can avoid this hotel. And for management, so they pay more attention not just to the ‘expensive-looking’ decor, but also to staff performance. So, let’s get started. The room description on Trip.com was completely inaccurate. My room was advertised as having a 'city view,' but it ended up having no window at all. That’s a big deal for me. I’d just spent 10 hours flying plus another 10 hours in the airport during my layover. All I wanted was to sleep with an open window. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible. It seems this hotel isn't expecting serious travelers, but rather guests looking for a quick hook-up. The kettle? It's there. But there isn't a single power outlet near the table. How am I supposed to heat coffee? Good question... And speaking of which, what really killed it for me was the breakfast. Or rather, the complete lack thereof. When I checked in, I immediately asked about the breakfast time. They told me 8-9 AM (which is very late and a very short window). I requested a lunch box because I had an early morning flight. The receptionist (whose name I don't know because she wasn't wearing a name tag, which is also a violation) mumbled that it wasn't possible (why? It’s standard practice at all other hotels). But she promised me breakfast would be served earlier, and we agreed on 7:30 AM. Neither at 7:30 nor at 7:45 did I get any breakfast. I went down to the reception to sort it out and, get this, I found the administrator fast asleep. When I asked about breakfast, I got a vague answer: 'I think I told them…' What do you mean, 'I told them'?! You're supposed to be awake, overseeing tasks and, in general, all staff work! I used to work in a hotel myself, starting at reception, and I know that even an overnight administrator should be up and alert by 6 AM. I can only describe such work as negligence. I've stayed in Almaty many times, but I've never seen such a 'country bumpkin' operation before.
