"I chose this hostel for my solo trip, and it was a delightful surprise! First off, the value for money is exceptional. The price was very friendly, and the private room I booked was quiet and secluded. Both the room and the common areas were clean and hygienic, making for a very comfortable stay. There's a self-service tea station in the common area, always available for use. The front desk lady spoke excellent English and was incredibly enthusiastic; she patiently answered all my questions. Payment was also convenient, as WeChat Pay is supported. During my stay, I even met several fellow travelers and we had a great time chatting and sharing our itineraries. Getting around is super easy too; there's a bus stop right outside the door with a direct bus to the airport, no transfers needed. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in the area, and I highly recommend it to other travelers!"

YYigeliulangzhongde BugFacilities: Very good. The room type is clearly marked and the private bathroom is even better.
Hygiene: The hygiene is also good. The maid cooked a good breakfast.
Environment: The location is pretty good. The only drawback is that we don’t know the local language. I was asked to ride an electric donkey to find a hotel. I went around and came back again. Haha.
Service: We are northerners. There is nothing to say. It’s great.
ps Being alone in a foreign land is like being a stranger. 🈶️For Chinese people, a place is a home. It’s much better than staying in a hotel with communication problems.

GGuest UserI am a solo traveller and it was my first time to travel to Almaty. I have no other words to describe my stay at this hotel aside from being exceptional. My room was big, there was also heated floor which countered the chilly winter days during my stay, daily room cleaning and the foods at the cafe especial bfast buffet were amazing and filling!!!! Special mention to all the staff there that welcomed me warmly most especially Yeldoz and the others who were very kind and friendly. The hotel is only an hour of walking from the famous tourist spots like Ascendant Cathedral, Panfilov, etc. And I recommend you to walk from the hotel to the aforementioned tourist spots beautiful you will be amazed by the views while walking 🫶🫶🫶 Again thankful and so lucky to have stayed at this hotel and met the kindest people here!!!

GGuest UserEverything was great until the day we checked out. Our flight was at night, so I asked to extend our room until 6 PM. However, since there were no available rooms, they declined. 'No big deal,' I naively thought, assuming I could relax with my child by the pool or in the play area. In the end, they wouldn't let us into the spa zone because our room had already been handed over. We went to the playroom, but there was a child there with what looked like symptoms of rotavirus, and for some reason, the doctor was called to the playroom instead of their room. The child was crying, taking medication, and continued to stay in the playroom. When I asked why, they said he just had a stomach ache that morning. We left there. Now we're just wandering around the hotel grounds like strays.

EEza FaizalWe had great time at Tenir Eco. At first, im a bit worried as im unsure how to go up and bring luggages direct from airport since we arrived direct from istanbul trip. But actually its quite easy. The hotel arranged to bring luggages up to hotel with payment of 5000 tenge(from shymbulak station to hotel reception). U have a choice to bring it yourslef but mind you that it is quite slippery from combi 2 to reception. So if u want to enjoy the moment just ask the hotel to bring the luggage for u.
The hotel will give QR code for cable car ride from Medeu station to combi 1-combi 2 and back down. If u want more can ask them to buy for you. Around 4000 tenge.
The hospitality is amazing , they provided all the necessity. And fast action too. They fixed the netflix so we could enjoy our 2nights stay. And although -12celcius was a challenge but the room got quite nice heat ‘ and u can always heat urself in the bathroom sauna, even the floor was heated. So we never feel tortured with the weather.
Bring some food for dinner if u dont want to spend time going down too much. And u can heat it in sauna as well🙈. Host (ingkar) was a very nice person. He gave us two nice cheesecakes since netflix took time to be fixed.
We stayed in Room Tenir 10 which was the last end room with nice romantic vibe and view. There’s night skiing and the skiers sometimes stop and wave to us while we watch them pass by. We also hike to nearby mountain and enjoy the scenery. It is super cold during winter and like a dream come true stay for us.
As per going back you can request them to bring down luggage as well with same 5000 tenge tilk symbulak station. The food at syn32 also yummy n good. Go try the blueberry mint tea with mountain view. Its amazing. U can ski in ski out from the room itself. Sunset is perfect as well. I will return again in future. Perfect stay in Shymbulak 3200m…. Never regret it.
And may try the paragliding as well. Looks fun too!

OOnce of lieI highly recommend staying at this hotel. It's quite popular among Chinese travelers. The bedding is comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. You can see the snow-capped mountains from the window. The staff is friendly, and the surrounding greenery is lovely. It's also conveniently located for getting around. The terrace is beautiful, and the rooms are very charming. You should definitely consider staying here! 🥰

VVeraFThis is a new, modern hotel with an excellent location. It's less than a kilometer from the pedestrian street, yet far enough away from the noisy areas. The staff are friendly, the breakfast is varied, the linens are good, and the bathrobes and towels are luxurious. However, it's not all perfect. There are some shortcomings in the staff's service; primarily, you often have to remind them about things. Otherwise, they might miss cleaning, changing towels, replenishing toiletries, or preparing lunch boxes, etc.
Overall, my stay left a positive impression. I believe that with time, the staff will refine their hospitality skills, and everything will be a perfect 10/10.

GGuest UserPlace would have been okay, but first of all, there’s no bidet anywhere in this country. The only shattaf spray I found was in a gasoline station restroom.
We stayed for 3 nights and the place was generally clean. They did clean our room, though not thoroughly, maybe because the place is a bit old, so even with effort, it doesn’t feel much different. The location is great though, just a short walk to Mega Park, and the area has a nice Korean vibe. There’s even a nearby street where people sing and dance, which was fun to see.
The security staff were friendly, always smiling, and very accommodating. However, the reception staff were not as warm, a bit intimidating. Even when you ask for help or make a request, they respond decisively without offering other options or solutions. Still, they let us rest in the lobby & stored our luggage when we had to depart late due to our late check-in.
Amenities are available but not easily accessible, you have to ask permission first, and it feels like they limit guest access. There’s a small lobby bar and a gym with a sauna, though I didn’t see the hot spring mentioned. Breakfast was basic and the same everyday. I didn’t enjoy it much.
Overall, it’s a nice and fairly well-maintained hotel. Installing shattaf sprays would be a huge improvement! The location is good, rooms are maintained, and I really appreciated the security staff. But after this first experience, probably wouldn’t stay again.
