Almaty Hotels with Balcony

The hotel is new and clean. Although it is located in a residential area, getting to the city centre is actually quite quick. That said, Yandex Go or your own car is probably the most convenient way to get around. I also really appreciated the front office service. I arrived very late, at around 2:30am, and the staff waited up for me. They also offered to assist with my luggage both on arrival and again when I departed, which was a very nice touch. The room itself was comfortable, and I also appreciated having a handheld bidet spray next to the toilet. The bathroom layout was a little awkward — when opening the bathroom door, it would catch the bath mat and push it across the floor every time. I was surprised that there was no chair at all in the room, which is rather inconvenient even just for putting on shoes, sitting briefly, or using the desk. I stayed for two nights, but unfortunately no housekeeping was provided during my stay. I understand that unexpected staffing issues can happen, but I would have appreciated some proactive communication. At minimum, a quick note explaining the situation, fresh towels and bottled water could have been delivered to the room without having to ask, even if full housekeeping was not possible. Only when I contacted reception was the situation explained. Breakfast on my departure morning was also rather disappointing, possibly because there was a large group (relative to he size of the hotel) staying at the hotel. Food was slow to be replenished and there were no seats available. As I was in a hurry, I ended up taking just a muffin. There also seemed to be no hot water in the room that morning, although this had not been an issue previously, so it may have been related to unusually high demand at that time. Overall, the hotel has good potential: it is new, clean, reasonably convenient for reaching the city centre, and the front office staff were helpful and welcoming.

Getting here by taxi from the city center was super convenient. I stayed for two nights. On the first day, I saw a glimpse of a 'golden mountain' at the top, and on the second day, there was heavy snow – the scenery was absolutely stunning! There's a shuttle bus service for getting up and down the mountain after check-in. If you're short on time and miss the shuttle, it's also easy to just grab a taxi. The hotel description was a bit sparse. The minibar is complimentary and replenished daily. The sauna was also great. Someone will help with your luggage, but it's good to mention it beforehand. You'll need to download another chat app (WhatsApp, I assume) in advance, as most requests are handled there, and responses are pretty quick. The views are beautiful and well worth it. Plus, the famous Top 50 restaurant is right next door. Breakfast is delivered to the room, but it was a bit monotonous.

The owner is very attentive, and I've stayed here for many business trips – there's a lot of useful information! The room is spacious, the bed is large, and there's also a pretty big and roomy courtyard. I'll definitely come again!

We really liked the location, there are a lot of cafes and restaurants directly next to the accomodation. The host is responsive. The apartment itself is a good size and in a new complex. The wifi is good. However, there are some improvements that we would recommend. Cleanliness needs to be improved - there was dirt on the bed sheet, hair in the shower and drawers, dirty kitchen towels, stained mats in the bathroom, dishes were dirty (needing washing before use) and the inside of the fridge was dirty. Whilst the bed was relatively comfortable, the sheets were too small and didn’t stay on the bed or cover two people. When we booked the accomodation, we picked it due to being able to complete washing; however the washing line on the covered sunroom was full of the hosts linen washing. We had to fold this and put it away to be able to use the facilities we paid for. The amenities are also lacking, there wasn’t any clothes washing liquid/powder (just an empty bottle), the shampoo and conditioner were half used tiny bottles from another hotel, no drinking water, no tea/coffee etc. The kitchen lacks certain things to make basic meals (no pasta strainer) and there is nowhere to put hot pots when you take them off the hot plate. We were also given the wrong room number before our arrival, meaning that we were trying to get into the wrong apartment for 30 mins - after a long travel day this was a bit exhausting. Overall, more attention to detail would help improve this accomodation. We hope this helps the hosts improve.

We booked this hotel for an overnight stay between flights. The room was clean and new, with excellent plumbing and heated floors in the bathroom. The towels were pristine white, and the bed was large, soft, and comfortable. The bed linen was new and smelled lovely – we slept better than we do at home! There's also a restaurant on the ground floor; my husband ordered a late dinner, and it was delicious with generous portions. In the morning, it took us 18 minutes by taxi to get to the airport.

The overall stay was pleasant, clean, and comfortable for the majority of our time out there. We checked in 3:00pm and check out at 10.00pm the foloowing evening. because there was no flexibility for late check-out option,we were required to pay for 2 full days. while we understood the policy, greater flexibility or a partial rate option for evening departureswould be a welcome improvement for guests. The booking site explicitely mentioned an ”international buffet breakfast” unfortunately this was not what was provided. instead we were served very limited fixed set of items( breads, veggies and buiscuts). accurate descriptions on booking platforms are essential to manage bookings. During our final hour before departure (from 8.30 -10.00pm) there was a complete power failure in our room, packing in total darkness was extreamely challenging, also with kids of 2 and 6 years old.and we had to rely entirely on our mobile phone flash lights. the staff did not offer any emergency lighting or altenate lights. v very small washroom.

The hotel is in a good location with spacious rooms. The level of service doesn't match the stated level. The bathroom is in terrible condition. The drain in the shower stall is clogged, and it's not fixed during cleaning. The shower faucet closes under its own weight, requiring a hand to hold it in place. You can shower in the bathtub, but the drain blocking valve is damaged, and the shutoff mechanism is broken. The valve is simply installed in the trap with blue tape 🤦🏻. The valve is difficult to remove, but it can be done. The faucet in the bathtub has no pressure, allowing for a good body wash, but washing your hair is extremely difficult. There's no ironing board or iron in the room; they are provided upon request, with a 20-30 minute wait. The ironing board is far from fresh, and a thin, multi-purpose cover is stretched over a dented metal frame, causing it to dangle in folds. There's no door lock (latch or chain), and the switch on the lock doesn't prevent hotel staff from accessing the room. Waking up to a service representative walking around the room is a real experience. I encountered this after the first night, and I've since put up a ”do not disturb” sign. If your room isn't cleaned in the morning, for any reason, it won't be cleaned that day without your reminder.

Booked this hotel because it was near to the airport, and being only 20 minutes away made for a great stopover between flights. That said, the hotel itself has plenty to offer. The rooms are nice and clean. We actually had an issue where we had too much hot water which is sort of the opposite problem of what you'd expect. The staff were friendly and helpful. They also had plenty of water coolers around to refill bottles, which is a nice touch not all hotels would offer. We didn't use the pool, but we saw that it was large and plenty of people were using it. Breakfast was simple, but did enough to cover all the bases. All in all, would recommend a stay here. Especially if you're looking for somewhere near the airport to crash.

The room is clean and dry, quiet and cool at night, and it is easy to fall asleep quickly. You can make reservations for meals, and the service is very thoughtful. The proprietress helped me arrange everything that the guests didn't expect. She was warm and welcoming like a family member, luxurious and family-like. I will definitely stay here again when I come to Almaty in the future. It feels like home.
