"The hotel lobby seems to have been renovated; it's quite grand. The elevators were also undergoing renovation during our stay. The room facilities definitely show their age, but overall it was clean and tidy, though the mini-fridge made some noise at night. We asked the front desk for a quiet room and surprisingly got a two-room suite, which was a pleasant surprise! The breakfast was really plentiful and excellent."

"Airport pick-up and drop-off is very convenient, the facilities are quite complete, there are Chinese restaurants, the heating is very good, the service is also very good, and the environment is quite nice. It's a Dongwu hotel that's worth considering for a stay."

"I had an excellent experience at Renion City Hotel, and honestly, it was better than I expected 🏨✨ The hotel was extremely clean, well organized, and very comfortable. Everything felt fresh and well maintained, which made my stay very enjoyable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful 😊 They were always polite and welcoming, and their service made the whole experience even more pleasant. One thing that really surprised me was the modern features in the room. There was even a wireless charger next to the bed, which made it very convenient to charge my phone using MagSafe 📱⚡ This kind of detail shows how much attention they pay to guest comfort. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance to try the restaurant food, but based on the overall quality of the hotel, I believe the food must be very good as well. Overall, this was truly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. Everything was lovely, very clean, comfortable, and well managed. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others visiting Almaty 🏨✨"

"Fantastic stay! We will be back for 5 days next year. We stayed for 1 night and 1 day, and everything was much better than we expected. The resort is beautiful and very clean. What we loved: The Room: We stayed in the purple chalet. It was very cozy, warm, and had a great mountain view. The Staff: The service was excellent. The staff speaks very good English and they were so helpful with our questions. Skiing: We had a great time on the slopes! The equipment and the snow were perfect. Our Plan: One day was too short. We liked it so much that we are planning to come back next year in the Autumn season for a longer stay of 3–5 nights to see the colors of the trees. Bottom Line: Highly recommended for families and international travelers. Thank you!"

"Came to Almaty for the first time during the Qingming Festival for a 'special forces' trip (meaning a fast-paced, action-packed trip). Getting a taxi from the airport to the hotel was very convenient. The front desk staff spoke fluent English and asked if it was my first time visiting, recommending nearby attractions. The room itself wasn't too old, though I personally dislike carpets. The bathroom was large, but the shower floor was a bit slippery, so you need to be careful. It was very quiet at night, and while the bed was small, it was comfortable enough. I highly recommend the hotel's breakfast buffet – it was an unexpected delight! The selection was rich, and the food was delicious, providing plenty of energy before heading to the snowy mountains."

"This capsule hotel offers excellent value for money. The guests are all very considerate, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The restrooms are clean, and there's even a free washer and dryer (you can buy laundry pods at the front desk for about 10 NTD each, which is very cheap). The location is also fantastic, close to everything. For my fellow Chinese travelers, I genuinely recommend this place!"

"I highly recommend staying at this hotel. It's quite popular among Chinese travelers. The bedding is comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. You can see the snow-capped mountains from the window. The staff is friendly, and the surrounding greenery is lovely. It's also conveniently located for getting around. "The Ibis Almaty is fantastic value for money, making it an excellent choice for business travelers! Its location is super convenient, just a few minutes' drive from landmarks like the Ascension Cathedral, and about a 30-minute taxi ride to the airport. Plus, they offer free parking. The rooms are clean and tidy, with free WiFi throughout. The Western-style buffet breakfast has a great variety, and kids under 17 eat for free. The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming, and check-in/check-out is quick and efficient. Having a restaurant and bar on-site is really handy. The standard rooms are a bit compact, so upgrading to a suite for a better view is worth the extra cost. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations!"

"The hotel is new and nice but also has some problems. We had a room at the back of the hotel, the view is awful. Our window was opposite an orange generator that was noisy andd blew choking fumes into the room. The hotel is also not finished and we had workmen going up and down in a lift from 8am at the side of our bedroom window. What is also strange is the bedroom doors open outwards into the corridor, so you have to be careful not to hit anyone as you open the door. Breakfast tastes nice but most of the dishes of hot food options are always nearly empty and not replenished. What is there is actually cold. One morning nobody bothered to put out any sugar for the coffees and there were often no cups available. The spa is very nice but staff in there are not particularly friendly and there are no opening hours for it anywhere. The staff at the reception however were very polite and friendly as is the man who greets you at breakfast. As we left they came back to us suggesting that we had used the mini bar in the room which we had not but they then said it was ok. Its also surprising for a new hotel that the hot water in the shower constantly changes temperature, you set it just right and within 2 minutes it swings between cold and too hot. The showers in the spa did the same. Overall the hotel looks nice but has some real teething problems and the view behind the hotel is just not acceptable. I personally wouldn't stay there again."
