Great
AAvie KLocated away from the city and surrounded by a peaceful park and lake, this hotel offers beautiful views of the mountains and greenery. The balcony is spacious, providing a stunning panoramic view right from the room. While the room itself feels more like a 4-star than a 5-star experience, the serene setting and connection with nature make the stay truly enjoyable. The lakeside restaurant also serves excellent food and completes the experience perfectly.
FFanzhengzhiThe location is very convenient, right next to the pedestrian street. There are many delicious restaurants nearby, and it's a lively area. The hotel breakfast is good. The only downside is that toiletries are not provided. The cleanliness is acceptable.
GGuest UserThe room was well-appointed, and the surroundings were incredibly quiet. It's located directly opposite a park, offering lovely views. From the higher floors, you can even see breathtaking snow-capped mountains. The staff were very warm and attentive.
AAnonymous UserMy initial check-in left me a bit disappointed. The standard room was quite small, and the corridors were narrow. The facilities also felt a bit old-fashioned, and the bathroom fan was quite loud.
However, after staying for three days, I really grew to love this small hotel.
Even though the facilities are older, they are meticulously maintained and spotlessly clean. It felt charming and cozy, and the hallways always smelled lovely.
There were plenty of hair dryers, and the hot water pressure was excellent. It was my first time experiencing a heating pipe that worked in conjunction with the shower's hot water supply – quite ingenious.
While breakfast wasn't on par with larger hotels, it was varied and delicious. There were even slight changes each day. I tried all the desserts and they were all very tasty. The coffee was a bit weak, but the tea was quite strong. With cinnamon powder, chocolate powder, and milk, I made my own milk tea.
I had planned to try the complimentary one-hour sauna for guests, but my husband said there was no lock, which was a shame. So I didn't dare to try it.
On a side note, the hotel's dinner was also delicious. The horse meat noodles and the soup were both excellent. If you don't feel like going out to find food, you can definitely eat right at the hotel.
GGuest UserLocated right next door to the Kok-Tobe cablecar station, and in walking distance to lots of good cafes and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable and the service was friendly and professional. Breakfast was a little crowded and understaffed (some empty breakfast options and lots of dirty plates etc), so I recommend going to breakfast earlier. However, this didn't affect my stay, and I would stay here again.
XXuelangshanjukeI was a little skeptical at first, thinking it would be old. In the end, I booked it because of the location. Overall, I am satisfied. Generally, airline crews will choose hotels for their stay, so they won't be too bad. It's not far from the cable car station, about a 20-minute walk. It's also not far from the Cathedral, a 15-18-minute walk. I am a bit picky. The facilities are acceptable and clean. The room is quite satisfactory. The breakfast buffet is average.
MMuhammad Irsyad Bin ZainiMy stay at Rixos Almaty in the Deluxe Twin Room with Park View was exceptional. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and offered a stunning view of the park, which added a peaceful ambiance to my stay. The beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The hotel staff were highly attentive and friendly, delivering excellent service from check-in to check-out. The hotel’s facilities, including the spa and fitness center, were top-notch and provided a luxurious touch to the experience. The breakfast was also impressive, with a wide array of delicious local and international dishes. Overall, my stay was nothing short of fantastic, and I would highly recommend Rixos Almaty for anyone visiting the city.
GGuest UserIt clearly states check-in is after 2 PM, but they forced me to pay for an extra night because I arrived at 12 AM. What's the point? It feels like a scam. And then they demand check-out by 12 PM... The next day, I checked out before 12 PM and requested a refund for that extra day, but they refused to give it.
