GGuest UserLocated right in the heart of the ancient city, this hotel is a tranquil retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The room was spotless and exceptionally well-appointed, featuring premium toiletries, an electric toothbrush, a Dyson hairdryer, and even a smart toilet. The entire courtyard is incredibly charming, offering a true taste of traditional Shanxi architecture. Breakfast in the courtyard was a highlight, and even when it poured rain on the second morning, we enjoyed a unique experience having breakfast under an umbrella. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and approachable; we could even communicate with them easily via WeChat.
My only minor point of feedback is that the duvet felt a bit too thick for summer; we were still quite warm and sweating even with the air conditioning on. However, this might just be a personal preference. Overall, this place is absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Datong who's looking for a unique and memorable accommodation experience.

QQiandanhuakaiThe inn is located next to the ancient city. It's very close. It's very convenient for a walk or a bike ride. The room is equipped with smart facilities and is very clean. The massage chair is really well received. I really need it after I went out for a walk during the day. There is also a projector, which is very comfortable to watch movies while having a massage. The lady in the store is very enthusiastic and super nice.

Iin****The location of the inn is very convenient. In the morning, I went downstairs to the opposite Xijin Road to eat noodles. I didn’t have to queue up early. I was very close to Huayan Temple. I was tired in the morning. I could come back to take a nap at noon. I went out in the afternoon and didn’t worry about it at night. Too late.
Health is also good, there is a small elevator, it is too convenient to carry luggage. Self-driving parking is in the underground parking lot next to it, and the cap is 20 yuan within 24 hours.

LLaoshedeshijieThe location is OK, not too far from the South Station or the ancient city. It can be reached by bus 61 during the day. It is a bit troublesome at night. There is no bus connection. The nearest one is to get off at Wanda Plaza. It takes ten or twenty minutes to walk. If you don’t want to go, you can take a taxi. But it is more troublesome to take a taxi in the ancient city of Datong, the hotel room is relatively large, the shower water pressure is also large, and the service is very good.

HHannichiketangThe room is antique, very close to the attractions, just next to Huayan Temple, and there are many popular restaurants in Zini. The boss is super good. The next day I came may be a little heatstroke. I got gastroenteritis. The proprietress has always cared about us. We have been burning hot water for us. When we left, we also brought us our own tomatoes, super good boss~~~ I will stay here next time.

GGuest UserI enjoyed my stay at this hotel. There is quite a bit to see around Lingqiu, and I should have stayed one extra night or two. Miss Liu (刘小姐), the front receptionist, was extremely helpful, even going all the way to accompany me to the bus stop to catch the bus heading to the Pingxingguan Battle site. Miss Liu also assisted with booking a cab for my visit to the Jueshan Pagoda. This famous Pagoda was founded before England was established by William the Conqueror (if I am wrong, then pardon me, but the Pagoda was built sometime before 1077 A.D. during the Northern Wei Dynasty). Miss Liu also directed me to the gravesite of King Wu of the Northern Wei Dynasty which is right in downtown Lingqiu.
There are numerous restaurants within walking distance of this hotel. One restaurant, next door to the right of the hotel, serves a wondering braised fish; the other a few doors away, sells delicious meat pies.
My room was professionally cleaned and serviced daily.
The hotel even allows me to doze off on the reception floor sofa to await my night train to Beijing.
I will return to this hotel if I return to Lingqiu.

MM22192****I went to Datong Ancient Town during the May Day holiday. The room in this inn was clean and had no odor. I liked the small sofa next to the bed. The boss was very considerate in providing disposable towels and bath towels, and there was plenty of hot water. Parking is also convenient, not far from the inn, only a five-minute walk away. The location of the inn is very good. It is right next to the clock tower of the ancient city. It is convenient to go anywhere. There are many small restaurants downstairs, which is also convenient for eating.
The landlady was very enthusiastic and we had a great time chatting. I like your dog the most. I will come to your house next time to play (๑°3°๑)

AAnonymous UserThe sanitation is generally not very careful. The toilet was not cleaned when I first checked in. There was a suspected ** on the sheets. 😩 I asked the aunt to clean it again. The breakfast arrangement was not careful. The location was relatively remote. The advantage was that it was close to the airport high-speed rail station, but it was not very good. Take a taxi, But it's not expensive to take a fast train in Datong.
