"The south side is a hundred miles away, and there is no choice. On the first day, I stood downstairs in the bitter wind. I was afraid that my mother would freeze and break down. I was in a hurry to enter the password. Why was it wrong? I was in a hurry to call the boss. I was thinking that Japanese could not communicate. Thank God, the boss's mouth was full of positive voices. The broadcast cavity made me be sure to calm down. The password number should be added *, not #, After losing, wait a second, the door will open automatically. The room is very compact, that is no problem, but because it is on the side of the road, the car is a bit noisy at night, I don't know if the opposite row will not be better along the road."

Amazing
GGuest UserOur family of five, including three young kids, had an absolutely fantastic stay at Rosenheim Tokyo Shinjuku Okubo. The hotel is conveniently located near Okubo Station, making it a perfect base to explore Tokyo, yet it offers a peaceful and welcoming retreat from the city's bustle. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the exceptional service. Mr. Agawa, in particular, went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. From the moment we arrived, his warm demeanor, attention to detail, and willingness to assist with every request made us feel truly valued as guests. It’s rare to encounter someone who genuinely takes pride in ensuring visitors have a seamless and enjoyable stay, but Mr. Agawa epitomized that spirit. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-suited for a family. The hotel's calm and family-friendly environment allowed us to relax after busy days of exploring. We wholeheartedly recommend Rosenheim Tokyo Shinjuku Okubo to anyone visiting Tokyo. With its prime location and the exceptional hospitality of staff like Mr. Agawa, it’s a gem we’ll be happy to return to on our next trip!

นัฐพงศ์ จินดาสนิทกุลThe room was as described and had many amenities, but no microwave. There was an induction cooktop and a set of pans, but no plates or cutlery. There was a wardrobe and a balcony for drying clothes. The room was larger than most accommodations in the city. Free Wi-Fi was available, but some rooms had no signal or was very slow. It's far from the train station (about 650-800 meters) and 1.3 km for airport travel. The stairs are very narrow; large suitcases must be carried up as there is no elevator. Anyone with luggage weighing over 15 kg will be exhausted, especially if they get a room on an upper floor.

AAnonymous UserA single-family homestay, fully self-service, the hotel has no management staff, tatami room, floor mat, very comfortable to sleep, clean and hygienic The guestbook shows that there are basically more Korean tourists One thing that really deducts points. Someone actually tried to enter my room in the middle of the night! Very scary! Through the peephole, I saw that it was a couple of tourists staying in the room. They were not Chinese, but probably Korean. They must have walked into the wrong room, but they kept trying the password until the system reported an error. They also tried to force the door open. I was scared to death It is not recommended for girls to stay alone. It is too dangerous without management staff. And the room is on the first floor (the second floor is a six-person room). There is no anti-theft window outside. The safety factor is really low If there are boys in the same group, if you don’t consider safety, the overall hotel is still very good. High cost performance, convenient travel, direct to Narita Airport

GGuest UserThis hotel exceeded my expectations! I was looking for a place near Ikebukuro because I had to go to Narita the next day, and it was going to rain heavily. The stay was great, and the staff and owner were very communicative and helpful.

TTsang HarryThe hotel is located in the residential area of Iriya, and the environment is relatively quiet and quiet. There are convenience stores and bento shops within walking distance, but there are fewer restaurants and shopping stores. The hotel is located between Ueno and Asakusa. It takes about 25-30 minutes to walk to these famous attractions, and you can enjoy the scenery of people's livelihood along the way. There is also a bus stop nearby, and you can reach more sightseeing spots in about 15 minutes by bus. There is an elevator in the hotel, but you need to go up a flight of stairs to check in and out, which may cause some inconvenience to the elderly. The overall decoration retains the characteristics of Japanese-style houses. There are lockers at the entrance to change shoes, and then there is a Western-style living room with coffee, tea and snacks. Refrigerators are also provided in the corridor on the third floor. The room type I stayed in did not have a private bathroom, but there was a simple wash basin and mirror in the entrance. The room adopts a traditional tatami design, which is very comfortable and clean, and is spacious for single or double occupancy. The sound insulation effect is good, and there is air conditioning, TV and wardrobe in the room, but there is only one charging plug. In addition, the room also provides Japanese yukata to wear as pajamas in the hotel to enhance the Japanese-style stay experience. The bathroom is separate for men and women. It is located on the first and second floors. It adopts a typical Japanese design and is equipped with a dressing room, shower room and bathtub. You can fully experience Japanese bathing culture. There are also self-service laundry facilities on the ground floor. In general, Sakura Inn is a very unique Japanese-style B&B with a comfortable overall environment, considerate service, and high cost performance. It is highly recommended to travelers who like Japanese life experience.

AAnonymous UserIt was a bit tiring as it took about 20 minutes on foot from Shinjuku Station, but it was really nice that I could get to the accommodation from Shibuya Station in one go and that there were escalators all the way up from the station! When staying for 3 nights and 4 days, they gave me 1 large towel and 2 regular towels per person, and water was not provided, so I had to buy it at Lawson or 7-Eleven near the accommodation. The air conditioner wasn't that strong, but the hair dryer was fine. On rainy days, they lent me a transparent umbrella in the lobby!

EErnest_LAWAsakusa Yoshino Hotel: A Tranquil Edo-Style Inn Amidst the Bustle I was absolutely charmed by Asakusa Yoshino Hotel on my first stay! It's a mere 5-minute walk to Senso-ji Temple and Kaminarimon, making it incredibly convenient for exploring Nakamise Shopping Street and taking a rickshaw ride. Yet, it's tucked away in an alley, offering surprising peace and quiet. The Japanese tatami room was spotlessly clean and refreshing, with wooden furniture and paper sliding doors. Before bed, sitting cross-legged and gazing at the old streetlights outside the window, felt like stepping back into the Edo period. The owners are a super friendly couple; communication in English was no problem, and they even proactively recommended a fantastic tempura spot nearby. For breakfast, you can choose between a Japanese set meal or a Western-style light breakfast – the miso soup was unbelievably delicious! They even gave us a small souvenir upon check-out, showing incredible attention to detail. For those on a budget who want an authentic Tokyo experience, this place is a no-brainer – the value for money is outstanding!

GGuest UserThe price is very cheap, the upper and lower bunks also have a separate bathroom, the air-conditioning is very sufficient, and the clerk is very enthusiastic. The location is not very good, a little far from the Nanqianzhu Station, it takes a long time to go to other places in Tokyo, but it is relatively close to the Asakusa sky tree Akihabara. The room is slightly smaller, but other hotel rooms in Tokyo are also very small. Considering this price, it can be said that the price is very high and suitable for poor travel.

GGuest Usergood for solo travellers. not social at all, and quiet and lights out hour starts at 11pm. very clean though! and it is around 15 minute walk to shibuya centre / crossing. it is surrounded by convenient stores though. it is also near the area of love hotels and clubs of the shibuya region, but it is not loud at all and it is in a quiet little corner. so if that scene is not your vibe then you can easily ignore it because it is not apparent at all (i only found out there are clubs and love hotels and bars near it because i went on late night walks around the neighbourhood every night and also my friend asked me to go clubbing at this specific club and coincidentally i found out it was minutes away from this hostel, and also long story short we also had to actively look for love hotels near the area because we both were stranded for the night lol). but if it is your scene - it is awfully convenient!

GGuest UserThis is a great location for people looking to hike Mt. Takao. You will need to use a taxi to get to and from the train station though. The staff was very kind and supplied us with cans of coffee whenever they saw us lol! One of the owners even gave us a ride to Mt. Takao when we asked for him to call us a taxi. The rooms are motel style and very spacious. Be aware this is an ex love hotel so it does have a slightly creepy vibe, I wouldn’t bring minors to this hotel to be honest. (I also turned on the TV in the bath which was a bit of a scare!) Also just show any taxis the actual address of this place in Japanese as no one local knew where this place was.
