"Probably the best hotel in Eastbourne, it has an old and classy feel to it. The rooms are decorated in a very European style and are very beautiful, with free mineral water, and a nesperesso capsule coffee machine. Eastbourne is a quiet town, the hotel is across the road to the sea, perfect for a 2-3 day seaside vacation here. Then no time to stay only one night, a bit regretful. Oh by the way, the bellman at the front desk was a cute old man with a very good service attitude. The hotel's buffet breakfast is a la carte + a small amount of buffet. The cutlery is all available, and the restaurant environment is unusually elegant. I didn't even dare to speak loudly to have breakfast here. Really good hotel, booked three months in advance for the price of 1900, value for money, lucky to stay one night, will always remember."

"I took my 9 year old daughter for a 3 day stay.As soon as we entered the hotel we were greated with a warm welcome and a smile from the receptionist.She let us know what was available within the area and if we needed anything we should let her know.
Our room was secluded, which we didn't mind too much. However, there wasn't much room to stand in front of our door as the stairs were right underneath, so it was a bit of a squeeze entering
The location of the hotel was perfect as it's opposite the pier where you can play crazy golf or play games in the arcade, which is quite reasonably priced.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel to friends and family."

"We booked the Standard room with double bed - as it was middle range, not as modern as the Ocean View rooms you see in the example photos - but hoping it was not as poor quality as the windowleas rooms that got bad reviews.
It was not quite as clean as I hoped but bearable. The room felt dusty around the edges, so we stayed away from the walls and back of the furniture. There was a lot of dust on the lampshade. Also I saw a long hair under the pillow before I got in and in the corner of the shower the next day. Also, there was a rolled up pair of Batman socks from a previous occupant, tucked behind the curtains.
None of that would have been too bad, but the green emergency light was shining too brightly all night. I added a picture of of the view from the bed in the dark with the green light.
Apart from that, the breakfast was good and the hotel was pretty in general. Also the location was great as it was along the sea front."

"We had a large room overlooking the sea, there was some traffic noise but it wasn't too bad. Breakfast is a little on the pricey side at £18.
A little further down from the pier, so a short walk to the centre and train station. They do also provide parking mm ."

"Lovely hotel in a great location, very near the bandstand and town centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We always had a night cap in the bar before bed which was great. We also got a room upgrade to one with a partial sea view which was very nice to have. Parking was easy. You get given vouchers which we paid about £2 each per day for, and you can park on the surrounding streets. We were lucky and got just outside the hotel by the seafront. If in summer, you may want to get there in the evening when day trippers will have gone home. There's also the ncp car park near by if necessary. Bed was very comfy and bedroom was a good size with tea and coffee facilities. We didn't have any meals there so I can't comment on that. (I did notice on the menu that the vegan cooked breakfast consisted of vegetables but no meat substitute, which I thought was a bit poor for the price.) I'd certainly stay at this hotel again."

"Overall, it was a really good experience. The staff were really nice, and the location was great. The only downside was that there was no air conditioning, and opening the window gets the bugs in. The walls weren’t soundproof either, so I was woken by the neighbours chatting and laughing at 4 am."

"Not used this hotel before but have stayed on the same road,not the most welcoming site on entering the building as front entrance stairs in poor state and full of cigarette ends.Reception service ok but was occasions when I came down and shouted and no one around,couldn't see a bell to ring either. Stairs and corridor on way to room seemed in poor state and a lot of the doors scratched and some damaged,lots of dirty linen just left lying about outside rooms.Had a single room which was on the small side but bathroom quite modern and had a bath,wooden floors with no rugs down,no hairdryer which is unheard of theses days.Had paid more for a 3rd night double room (just double bed in this case) as room too small and no room to walk around bed,bathroom very large but instead of a blind or curtain someone had put a shower curtain up at the window whilst the two windows in the room had two flimsy different curtains neither of which fitted.
There was a distinct feeling that no women had any input in the place and only saw male staff when needed assistance .This accommodation is more suitable for single men booking at short notice as a cheaper option,the name Pearl and Pebbles gave me the thought of clean and bright which this was certainly not,wouldn't stay again"

"We stayed at the Port hotel for one night.It was lovely.The service was great the staff were friendly.The hotel has a very modern aesthetic and minimalistic vibe. Would definitely stay again. Shout out to the Chef who had to carry my heavy suitcase up the stairs and the lovely lady that asked him to kindly do that for me.😊

GGingerNutzThere are lot of hotels in Eastbourne, many cheaper than the Revilious. I chose the Revilious because of the favourable reviews and I wasn't disappointed. It really is a fabulous place to stay. We were made to feel very welcome. Our room was stylish, comfortable and well equipped. There was lots of choice for breakfast with an emphasis on quality. I'll certainly stay at the Revilious next time I visit Eastbourne.

GGuest UserThe holiday is very clean, the space is large, the separate bathroom with a bathtub, and the infrastructure is perfect. The parking space is very sufficient. It is also very convenient to drive to the seven sisters Baiya. It takes ten minutes to drive and walk to the city for about ten minutes. There is a very delicious breakfast and a good stay experience.

The staff and facilities are excellent, the rooms are a great size with great views and we enjoy sitting in the bar area with our friends watching the world go by.
The area is excellent and we have never struggled to park the car, remember to get a voucher from reception.
We will be back!

GGuest Userwe had to call 2 time during the night,our 21 month old small one was shevering since they have turn off the heater,then one of the store staff has provided us external heater,we have paid for all the facilities but seems like manager needs to cut down the cost by turning off the heater by their end to save money,,patetic to see something from a best hotel in the area......

The windows on three sides are all sea.
You can fall asleep listening to the waves at night and listen to the calls of seabirds in the morning.
The only thing is that there is no elevator.
But fortunately, the stairs are wide enough.
It is quite convenient.
The bus is also very close and convenient.
It is a 15-minute walk from the city center.

GGuest UserThis was a last minute booking as we were stranded with cancelled trains. Service was friendly and very good. Room was clean though there was a missing piece of carpet in room 19 by the radiator and the chair in the room needed throwing out. A very strong smell of **** outside of room 19, I presume someone was smoking in one of the nearby rooms which wasn’t pleasant. Shower curtain was moldy in room 110 but the beds were decent and quite comfortable. Lots of bedding and towels provided and tea/coffee well stocked. Bunk bed frame in family room 110 was very squeaky and kept us up. And wall outside of the bathroom had a massive crack up it and ceiling stained with unsightly brown marks. Overall not bad considering we were stranded and options were minimal.

Breakfast is traditionally English breakfast, with bread, fruit, cereal, yogurt, juice, coffee/tea. Although not many variety, but the food is good. Room is small, main bed is comfortable, but the extra bed is too soft, not comfortable. As no a/c, we need to ask for fan. Room is not all prepared. You need to ask reception, but they are kind to help. Comparatively, a bit far from pier or beach. But maybe a good walk along beach during sunny day.

GGuest UserThe room is large, clean and comfortable. The front desk was very helpful and helped me check in early. They also told me the bus route to Seven Sister Cliff in detail. It is very close to the hotel and there is a bus at the door. There is a big beach in front of the hotel, which the children like very much.

WWillHastingsEverything I needed for an easy and comfortable stopover for work. Friendly welcome, comfy bed, clean room, decent shower for a very reasonable price.
Location wasn’t particularly important as I arrived late and left early, but the Majestic is right on the seafront, perfectly placed for the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. Hotel bar looked nice but it was just a bed for the night on this occasion. Would certainly stay again. Thanks to staff.
