Eastbourne Hotels with Breakfast

The hotel is in a great location, about 12 minutes walk from the train station. The guy at the front desk was very enthusiastic and patient. It was already evening when we arrived. He still introduced us bit by bit. And the hotel is pet-friendly, and I saw a lot of cute dogs! !

It couldn't be better. The staff is also great. The room has a great view. The windows on three sides are all sea. You can fall asleep listening to the waves at night and listen to the calls of seabirds in the morning. The only thing is that there is no elevator. But fortunately, the stairs are wide enough. It is quite convenient. The bus is also very close and convenient. It is a 15-minute walk from the city center.

The hotel is small, but very cozy, and the service is good, especially the grandma who served breakfast, was very nice. The hotel has a very good view and parking is convenient

We stayed at the Port hotel for one night.It was lovely.The service was great the staff were friendly.The hotel has a very modern aesthetic and minimalistic vibe. Would definitely stay again. Shout out to the Chef who had to carry my heavy suitcase up the stairs and the lovely lady that asked him to kindly do that for me.😊 Would recommend this hotel. Dont think about it if it comes up on your feed….Do it!🥳

Good location right next to the beach and Eastbourne seafront. Only around 30 minute drive to the Severn Sisters car parks where you can complete the hike. Rooms are well kept with nice interiors and good views. However, parking can be difficult as only designated parking is by the seafront which is often full. Had to park in the multi-story NCP instead but is only around a 10 minute walk.

Downside was the size of the room, basically just big enough for a double bed and thats it, it was also very very hot in the room with no fan and a tiny window which barely let a breeze in also the bed wasn't very thick you could feel and hear the springs. TV was very small too, if we'd just been staying 1 or 2 nights I feel we wouldn't of minded too much but for a 4 night stay and the cost as well I expected it to be alot nicer. The towels were changed regularly though and it was very clean, staff were also very accommodating so can't fault them.

The location was very good, with convenient access to the seaside. The cleanliness of both the room and communal areas was acceptable. However, the staff availability and overall welcome were not satisfactory. I was not informed either at the time of booking or during check-in that I needed to notify the staff if I intended to return to the hotel after midnight. On the second night of my stay, I returned after midnight but found the entrance door closed. I tried knocking for around 30 minutes and repeatedly attempted to contact reception, but the reception phone number was not answered. As I was unable to gain access, I eventually had to contact my friend and stay at their accommodation overnight. This was very inconvenient and disappointing, and I believe guests should be clearly informed of the property's late-night access arrangements at the time of booking or check-in.

This was a last minute booking as we were stranded with cancelled trains. Service was friendly and very good. Room was clean though there was a missing piece of carpet in room 19 by the radiator and the chair in the room needed throwing out. A very strong smell of **** outside of room 19, I presume someone was smoking in one of the nearby rooms which wasn’t pleasant. Shower curtain was moldy in room 110 but the beds were decent and quite comfortable. Lots of bedding and towels provided and tea/coffee well stocked. Bunk bed frame in family room 110 was very squeaky and kept us up. And wall outside of the bathroom had a massive crack up it and ceiling stained with unsightly brown marks. Overall not bad considering we were stranded and options were minimal.

We stayed at the Majestic Hotel for one night and got a very good price, as we only needed somewhere to sleep and weren't planning to spend much time there. The location is excellent, right on the seafront, and the outside of the hotel looks fairly presentable with a few seats at the front to enjoy the view. Unfortunately, things were less impressive once inside. The bar was closed, with signs saying they wouldn't be serving alcohol, and one of the lifts was out of order. The hotel itself feels very dated and is in need of refurbishment. Our room was clean and fresh towels were provided, but it was quite tired. The carpet was heavily stained, one bedside cabinet had clearly fallen off the wall at some point and hadn't been replaced, and the ceiling light was hanging down with exposed wires, which was a safety concern. The curtains also looked like they hadn't been updated in decades. The room was very hot, with no air conditioning or fan. The bathroom was extremely small, the sink was cracked, and the shower had a significant build-up of limescale. There was no hairdryer, although basic tea and coffee making facilities were provided. The biggest positive was the staff, who were all very friendly and welcoming. Overall, if you're looking for the cheapest possible place to sleep in a good location, it does the job. However, I personally wouldn't stay again and would rather pay a little more for a hotel that is more comfortable and better maintained.

Everything I needed for an easy and comfortable stopover for work. Friendly welcome, comfy bed, clean room, decent shower for a very reasonable price. Location wasn’t particularly important as I arrived late and left early, but the Majestic is right on the seafront, perfectly placed for the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. Hotel bar looked nice but it was just a bed for the night on this occasion. Would certainly stay again. Thanks to staff.
