Very good room size.
Little disappointed for few things below:
(1) Private parking mentioned on description. But its not free.
(2) Milk sachet provided only 2 for 2 people
(3) There was a stain on the bedroom table. It means the table wasn't cleaned properly.
(4) 2 single mattress provided on Double bed. Which is not comfortable for couple."

"This was a last minute booking as we were stranded with cancelled trains. Service was friendly and very good. Room was clean though there was a missing piece of carpet in room 19 by the radiator and the chair in the room needed throwing out. A very strong smell of **** outside of room 19, I presume someone was smoking in one of the nearby rooms which wasn’t pleasant. Shower curtain was moldy in room 110 but the beds were decent and quite comfortable. Lots of bedding and towels provided and tea/coffee well stocked. Bunk bed frame in family room 110 was very squeaky and kept us up. And wall outside of the bathroom had a massive crack up it and ceiling stained with unsightly brown marks. Overall not bad considering we were stranded and options were minimal."

There are lot of hotels in Eastbourne, many cheaper than the Revilious. I chose the Revilious because of the favourable reviews and I wasn't disappointed. It really is a fabulous place to stay. We were made to feel very welcome. Our room was stylish, comfortable and well equipped. There was lots of choice for breakfast with an emphasis on quality. I'll certainly stay at the Revilious next time I visit Eastbourne.

The hotel was very clean and spacious, with a private bathroom with a bathtub. The basic facilities were very complete. There was ample parking, and driving to the Seven Sisters White Cliffs was very convenient, just a 10-minute drive away. Downtown dining options are about a 10-minute walk away. A very delicious breakfast was provided, and the stay was a very pleasant experience.

My husband and i had a nice stay. Perfect location as only accross the road to the theatre where we went that evening.
Toiletries/Tea & Coffee available in room.
The room was clean and the staff were friendly.
Would stay again.

The hotel is in a great location, about 12 minutes walk from the train station. The guy at the front desk was very enthusiastic and patient. It was already evening when we arrived. He still introduced us bit by bit. And the hotel is pet-friendly, and I saw a lot of cute dogs! !

Overall, it was a really good experience. The staff were really nice, and the location was great. The only downside was that there was no air conditioning, and opening the window gets the bugs in. The walls weren’t soundproof either, so I was woken by the neighbours chatting and laughing at 4 am.

Jan PerdochI had a good night stay,room was spacious and clean,fine breakfast buffet with plenty of choices.Hotel is bit dated as most of the budget seaside hotels in uk and might need bit of refurb but it still absolutely fine for few night in.Point down is for not working lifts,especially for lots of elderly people staying in and struggled to get up the stairs.As i heard from people around it wasn't fixed for few days or weeks which is quite bad.

Guest UserDownside was the size of the room, basically just big enough for a double bed and thats it, it was also very very hot in the room with no fan and a tiny window which barely let a breeze in also the bed wasn't very thick you could feel and hear the springs.
TV was very small too, if we'd just been staying 1 or 2 nights I feel we wouldn't of minded too much but for a 4 night stay and the cost as well I expected it to be alot nicer.
The towels were changed regularly though and it was very clean, staff were also very accommodating so can't fault them.

Guest UserThe location was very good, with convenient access to the seaside. The cleanliness of both the room and communal areas was acceptable.
However, the staff availability and overall welcome were not satisfactory. I was not informed either at the time of booking or during check-in that I needed to notify the staff if I intended to return to the hotel after midnight.
On the second night of my stay, I returned after midnight but found the entrance door closed. I tried knocking for around 30 minutes and repeatedly attempted to contact reception, but the reception phone number was not answered. As I was unable to gain access, I eventually had to contact my friend and stay at their accommodation overnight.
This was very inconvenient and disappointing, and I believe guests should be clearly informed of the property's late-night access arrangements at the time of booking or check-in.
