The breakfast, which I had every day, wasn't monotonous; the dishes rotated. I swam and worked out daily, and if it wasn't raining, I'd explore the surroundings. "Holiday Inn consistently maintains its standards. Whenever I visit a new, unfamiliar place, Holiday Inn is always my first choice, whether it's at the foot of Mount Emei, in Bangkok, or Beijing, among other locations. Of course, I don't book directly through the hotel's website, so they probably don't have my personal data. But I've stayed with you in over ten different places, multiple times. Let's talk about my recent experience in Vientiane. There was a tall male front desk staff member, with neatly parted 60/40 hair. I didn't catch his name, but his way of handling issues was a textbook example of SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) at its finest. I asked him via Xiaohongshu if I could book bus tickets from Vang Vieng to Luang Prabang at the hotel. He checked an app on his phone and made a call for me. It turned out he booked them on my behalf. He said there was a trip tomorrow at 11:30 AM and that the other party would deliver the tickets. I came back around 12:00 PM after eating, and the tickets hadn't arrived yet. He said he would follow up immediately. Shortly after his call, the tickets were delivered. He even mentioned that the other party would pick us up from the hotel lobby to take us to the station tomorrow. On the day of the bus trip, the bus was late. He again said he would follow up immediately. Throughout these two days of handling things, I paid close attention to his expression; he showed no impatience at all. He was very friendly, and even helped us take a photo with the bus once it arrived. As someone who used to work in hotels, I truly have no complaints. I hope you advance well in your career at the hotel."

"DoubleTree by Hilton Vientiane 🇱🇦 | A Stay I’d Happily Come Back To I recently stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Vientiane, one of the newer Hilton properties in Laos, and overall, I had a really great experience. 📍 Location The hotel is conveniently located and getting there from the Morning Market area was easy — I simply took a tuk-tuk. It’s also not far from the Mekong River, and some rooms even offer views towards the river. In case you book direct by Hilton website. 🏨 Check-in & Diamond Experience As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I was able to check in at the Executive Lounge, which made the arrival experience even more comfortable. I originally booked an entry-level room and was very happy to receive an upgrade to a suite during this stay. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and very well appointed. It was definitely a nice surprise and made the stay even more enjoyable. 💛 Service What impressed me most was the service. The staff across the hotel were attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. A special thank you to Ling at the Front Desk, who took great care of me, and Chit at the breakfast restaurant, whose attentive service made the morning even better. Both of them really stood out during my stay. 🍳 Breakfast Breakfast was another highlight. The selection was extensive, with plenty of choices, but I especially enjoyed the local Lao dishes. There were Lao-style sausages and fried fish served with jeow dipping sauce and fresh vegetables — simple, local, and absolutely delicious. I always appreciate hotels that include local flavors at breakfast rather than offering only standard international dishes. 🛏️ Overall The room was excellent, the location was convenient, breakfast was impressive, and most importantly, the service throughout the hotel was consistently warm and attentive. It was one of those stays where everything simply came together nicely. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. "The staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The room was spotless, the bed was soft, and the bathroom was excellent with strong water pressure and a private bathtub, offering a natural and quiet ambiance. The swimming pool was also great."

"I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends because it offers an exceptional experience at a very reasonable price. From the moment I walked in, what struck me most was how remarkably clean the space was and how new the hotel amenities were. The highlight of our stay was the hotel staff, who always greeted us with warm, friendly smiles that made us feel genuinely welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. On top of that, the hotel is very close to major local attractions, making it incredibly convenient to get around. We were able to save both time and transportation costs during our stay."

"I stayed in room 504, and the air conditioning was noisy all night. Everything else was pretty good, though. The night market is just a block away from the hotel and is very lively, with local young people eating late-night snacks and drinking. It's less than a 20-minute walk to the Central Bus Station, which is quite convenient. Next door to the hotel is a restaurant called 'Piaopiao Fan' that accepts UnionPay cards with no extra fees. The hotel also has a laundry room with two washing machines and one dryer. You'll need to buy detergent from the front desk for 10,000 kip, and one packet is enough for at least three washes (I didn't buy it myself)."

"Newly opened hotel located at the French Street. Very good location to go around. Restaurants, bars, massage centres, Big C Mini all nearby. MAG UXO Visitor Information Centre, Wat Sisaket, Mekong River, Patuxai, Talat Sao, Parkson, COPE Visitor Centre within 2-35mins walking distance. The owner & staffs keep giving me free bottled water & other beverages. They even offer complimentary usage of their washing machine, dryer and kitchen for all guests. The price you paid is definitely worth it! Will stay here again if i return to Vientiane."

"Great hotel! The breakfast was decent and left a really good impression on me in Vientiane. Mon and Farsay provided excellent service; they were two very enthusiastic young ladies. Facilities: Excellent. Not inferior to domestic five-star hotels. The only thing is the door lock felt a bit insecure, and I've seen other guests mention this issue as well. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: Elegant and minimalist. Service: The staff were very enthusiastic! I couldn't get a taxi to That Luang Temple, so a staff member drove me there directly in the hotel's shuttle. They even offered to pick me up after I finished, though I ended up taking a taxi to another place, haha."

Great stay in Vientiane! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0/5 Very Good I originally booked Eastin Hotel Vientiane for only 2 nights, but I ended up enjoying my stay so much that I extended it for 5 full nights and canceled my plans to switch to another hotel! Here is my honest review of why I loved staying here: Stunning River View: The hotel is located right along the Mekong River. The night view and atmosphere from the rooftop bar are fantastic—perfect for unwinding in the evening. Delicious Dining: The breakfast spread offers a great variety of fresh fruits, pastries, and hot items. Ordering lunch and dinner at the hotel was also a hit—the Tom Yum soup and Pad Kra Pao were fresh, hot, and packed with authentic flavor! Clean & Comfortable: The room design with cool blue and white tones feels very clean and soothing. The bed was super comfortable for a good night's rest. Friendly Staff: Every staff member was attentive, polite, and always greeted me with a warm smile. Overall, it's a wonderful choice if you are visiting Vientiane. Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay here again!"
